3.5 A Fantasy Come to Life Stars ⭐

Heels Together, Knees Apart was a fantastic way to spend an hour enjoying a saucy and smutty novella. The best part was getting an actual storyline plus an introduction of characters with their own inappropriate stories still to follow!

“What about you, Doctor? Do you have any dark, secret cravings?”

Dr Erikson shouldn't be lusting after a patient who gets off on exposing herself in public. Little does he know he's one appointment away from experiencing it himself...

I may get my kicks from showing my body to random strangers, but at night, when I slide my fingers between my legs and find my release, it’s to thoughts of Dr. Erikson.

Charlotte has her life together and if flashing oneself wasn't a crime, there'd be no need for therapy. However her fascination with her doctor may ironically be the bigger issue at this stage.

It's not often you find erotic novellas that don't induce constant eye rolls. But I knew this author wouldn't disappoint, thus me pre ordering all the other Itty Bitty Delights in this series. 💙

As her psychologist, he’s prohibited from engaging in a relationship. It doesn’t make their mutual need any less real, however.

Despite the short length, Alex Grayson slowly torments us before allowing these characters to give in to their desires. Make no mistake, it was the best kind of torture!!

When this little story landed on my kindle I devoured it in mere hours at close to midnight! I did that because I knew deep in my bones that it was going to be delicious but also because I had just finished a book that had me ALL up in my feelings and I needed an escape! So, the first lesson is, if you need a bit of an escape and you’ve got about an hour(ish) to spare, grab this little nugget, it will be worth it.



The Itty Bitty Delights series promises to be “a collection of short stories about sexy taboo fantasies” and it delivered with Heels Together, Knees Apart!! Please do not be distracted by the title if you don’t normally read these types of stories. I know, more often than not, these stories tend to be not so much story but a lot of porn on paper. This isn’t one of those. If anything, it’s the complete opposite yet delightfully delicious. It is the ultimate in slow-burn deliciousness. Pretty sure I was turned on the entire time and not in the way you’re probably thinking. I can’t describe the passion and chemistry that flowed thru the narrative except to tell you that it did because then I’d be giving away the most powerful aspect of this story. You’re just going to have to trust that I read these types of stories a lot and this one stands out epically!

With this ITTY BITTY DELIGHTS series, Ms Grayson is completely mixing it up with this range of exceptionally salacious reads where forbidden relationships are the norm and a hot romantic love still flourishes.

HEELS TOGETHER, KNEES APART is the first offering and we have the handsome psychologist Doctor Bryan Erikson and his patient Charlotte who both mutually cross the line of Doctor/Patient privilege! And I'll tell you now, they both showed a remarkable amount of patience(!) for quite some time, but once resistance became impossible, it was all eye-ball searing 🔥🔥🔥🔥!

As far as this short sharp shot of hot fiction goes, this little novella has everything and more. The Exhibitionist brings out the Voyeur, and not only that, we literally feel their searing chemistry, meet their friends, see their family relationships and who they were as people along with those vital ingredients of Love and Romance. As a side note, these tasty tidbits are definitely Not Safe For Work (NSFW)!!!

Well-written, well-structured, fast-paced and engaging, Heels Together, Knees Apart is a quick, dirty read that takes readers on a journey through the temptation and obsession of a doctor and his patient. Easily a steamy, one-sitting read. Enjoyed the story a lot.

Other than the fact that i disliked her ''kink'' ; i'm glad later on she did it only with him.
But i feel like it's kind of incomplete this book.
We don't know nothing from their past, i get it it's a novella but still i would've liked to know more about it.
Also that epilogue it's to small for my liking , especially because we didn't have much of them being an item, none at all to be honest.

Charlotte’s behavior flips the script in this novella. She loves flashing unsuspecting men by flipping up her skirt, showing what’s underneath. She is seeing Dr. Bryan Erikson in hopes he could help her. During their sessions, she sits across from him with her heels together and knees apart. She does so unknowingly. The desire between them ignites to a flaming inferno with little effort. Even though this is a short read, there is still a story interwoven with the heat. I really enjoyed it. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Itty Bitty Delights Series is a cute but steamy mini series. Heels Together, Knees Apart releases Feb 24! These are quick reads you’ll devour in a single sitting, so plan carefully.

Brace yourself for a forbidden Doctor/patient relationship. The plot is a slow burn with a lot of steam. I love features of funny friends and chaotic family ties and Alex delivers all that and more. I can’t wait to see what journey this mini series takes us on, they’re short and sweet reads with happy endings. I’m sensing some more taboo and steamy relationships coming our way.

What a fun read! Bryan is a psychologist and Charlotte is his patient. He has been helping her with a little problem she has with exhibitionism. The chemistry between them is over the top and steamy. Both know it is wrong to have feelings for one another but can't seem to stay away. It was a short but hot read!

An Interesting but Surprisingly Bland Tale of Taboo Love…

I have yet to encounter a book by Alex Grayson that I haven’t liked. However, in this case I’m glad I mistakenly read book three in her, “Itty Bitty Delights” series first, as I would have most likely passed over the remainder of the series if I had started with this book. Now don’t get me wrong, I didn’t find anything inherently awful about, “Heels Together, Knees Apart”, but for me it just never really captured my attention the way most other books by Grayson have and was surprisingly a bit boring in parts.

Here within book one of the series is the story of Charlotte, the exhibitionist who enjoys flashing unsuspecting men in public places, and Dr. Bryan Erikson, the psychologist tasked in treating Charlotte after one such show of her flesh runs her into trouble with the law. However, what begins as an earnest need to understand and treat his patient quickly turns into an attraction that explodes between them and burns hotter and hotter as the months pass. Months during which Charlotte becomes increasingly flirty and boldly boundary pushing in her sessions with the good Dr., something Bryan soon finds harder and harder to ignore, eventually being unable to avoid what he knows they are both feeling.

What follows is a delightfully quirky and fast-paced, but surprisingly mild view of taboo Dr./patient lust and love. A tale, that while sassy and full of sexually spirited dialog, does not fully embrace the opportunity to really explore the power dynamics involved in a coupling like this. And while the story world created here by Grayson is wonderful, overall, I was sadly underwhelmed by the general character growth and story arc overall, as while it is initially attention-grabbing, it doesn’t delve deep enough to hold your attention throughout, nor are the characters really ever allowed to grow to their full potential emotionally.

As I said at the beginning, it was bland enough that I would have honestly passed over reading the remaining books in this series if I had not mistakenly read book three previously. So my advice (and I can’t believe I am saying this for an author I truly love), skim this one to familiarize yourself with the characters and larger story world at play so you ca glean the tidbits needed to understand the next books in the series and move on to book two

I had been waiting for this novella to release since I first heard about it! I've read a ton of this author's books and loved all of them, so I was excited to read this one! I grabbed a copy as soon as it released and made it my next read! After reading, I can say that I enjoyed this novella, but I just wanted it to be longer because I felt there was more to the characters story lol! I also loved the plot and the way it developed! The plot only took me one sitting to read and it was different to other books that I've read! There was also a lot of sexual tension and romance between the two main characters, which allowed for a few seriously hot scenes! I loved the romance a lot! The characters were also amazing and made this novella even better! Charlotte was the main female character, and in this book she would flash men, which sounds strange, but stick with it! Her love interest did change things for Charlotte, and he made her re-evaluate what she was doing! I also loved Charlotte's confidence because it would take a lot of guts for someone to flash a stranger! Bryan was the main male character and love interest of Charlotte! Bryan was in a position of power in this book, so he had to hide how he really felt about Charlotte and treat her like his patient! This didn't last long lol, and it was easy to see how Bryan felt about Charlotte and that he wanted to be with her! Bryan's family also meant the world to him and he took care of them! This novella was written from both Charlotte and Bryan's point of views! I loved that it was because it helped me connect more with both characters and see how they really felt about each other! It allowed for a few more things to happen in the plot as well! The ending of this novella was also left at the perfect place for the characters and summed up their story! I now can't wait to read the next novella in this series! I know it's going to focus on a new couple and that it releases very soon! I'll definitely be reading it as soon as it releases and I'm excited to read it! I also love the cover for this novella! It suits it perfectly and would draw me to it! The cover model represents Charlotte very well too!

Heels Together, Knees Apart is a novella size book that is the also the first in a collection of short stories Alex Grayson is writing called Itty Bitty Delights.
This is a forbidden story between a doctor and his patient. Charlotte has this urge to flash people and Dr. Bryan is her therapist. But it isn't long before he might just be geeing himself attracted to the girl that he shouldn't be attracted to. I can't really tell you a lot about this tory because it is a novella but I do say that it doesn't at all feel like your reading a prequel to something bigger. What you do get is a story that feels like a full story from beginning to end and one that I really, really loved

Heels Together, Feet Apart is the 1st book in Alex’s Itty Bitty Delights Series and my first read by this author. This series has started off with an easy to read, spice packed, and simply quite delicious read. Taboo with heat and low angst, yet well written with an introduction to what is coming in this series. I am hooked.

Bryan Erikson’s favorite time of day, Thursday, because that is when Charolette walks into his office for their weekly session.

Charolette has a craving, not only to expose herself publicly to men, but a deep seeded one for her therapist.

Bryan resists the urge to act on the attraction he feels, but the pull to be a voyeur in Charolette’s bi-weekly park jaunts, not so much.

Only Charolette knows how dirty little secret and isn’t ashamed to use it to her advantage.

I have recently been peer pressured into reading very naughty books. When I saw the title of this book, I knew it was something I was going to need to read. Heels Together, Knees Apart was a steamy, fantasy driven novella.

Charlotte has an insatiable urge to play a naughty game of peek-a-boo with unsuspecting strangers. In an attempt to control that urge, she seeks out help from therapist Dr. Erikson. The chemistry between the two becomes explosive and soon lines are crossed.

I really enjoyed that there was quite a bit of storyline in Heels Together, Knees Apart. It wasn't just your typical book porn. I was impressed with how much story was placed into this quick little read. I also loved how we got introduced to several other characters that will continue this naughty novella series.

Can't wait for the rest of the Itty Bitty Delights to be released. I will definitely be finishing this series and can't wait to see what other fantasies are brought to life.

If you are in the mood for a naughty and passionate, with feels and a side of kinkiness in bite sized delight then this one you'll more than devour.

This one is a novella but yet I felt more passion between Dr. Erikson and Charlotte.

Charlotte loves flashing to strangers, men. She loves the thrill and the feeling of being powerful to bring a man to Lust and desire in an instant yet being in control of him never having her.

For this she starts therapy with Dr. Erikson but it's like now he's the one who's sets her body on fire.
But Dr. Erikson can't risk his job and fights his attraction as much as he can.

I loved the side story of Dr. Erikson's sister and am excited for her book too. ❤️❤️❤️

The first in the next Alex Grayson's series, Itty Bitty Delights is one that will make you want to see a doctor especially one like Bryan. We have Charlotte, who has a unique somewhat medical condition and makes Bryan well all hot and bothered. Addicted to sex is one thing but knowing Bryan knows she wants people to see her is not something he's comfortable. Now it's for a good reason because he wants her and boy did she really tempt him in every way. She may be his patient but she is becoming his everything. Short, sexy and what a way to start off the series.

This would be a good book if you want a little break as a smutt/ dark romance reader. There is more tension/teasing and obviously it’s also taboo. Psychologist and patient.

I liked the teasing between them. The built in tension. I would have like to know what happened in those six months before. How did their interactions go. It went a little bit to fast for my liking.

Furthermore, you meet almost every character of the short stories from this bundle. I think since it’s the first book it felt like an introduction to all the other stories that are about to come.

I did read this book from the itty bitty delights bundle, but you can also get them separately.

Lastly, I’m very curious to the other stories. Originally I saw a video about the second book (student/teacher), but then I saw the bundle and the tropes. I was sold.

A fast paced sexy novella.
Charlotte gets a high and thrill from flashing her lady parts to men she doesn’t know.
Getting caught one day by a cop and luck being on her side, the cop gets called away.
She gets scared, probably for many reasons and I’ll assume one of them would be her career would have be destroyed, she seeks professional help.
Enter Doctor Brynn Ericsson psychologist who happens to be young and sexy.
When helping turns into infatuation and lust for both doctor and patient.
Things will get hot and spicy.
Ms. Grayson also introduces other characters who will get their own Itty Bitty Delights 🔥

This is the first book in the Itty Bitty Delights series and from the series title, it definitely is that. This is a perfect novella for the in between time when you have an hour or so to kill and are looking for that steamy storyline. Bryan is a psychologist who is having some less than professional thoughts about his client, Charlotte. The two seem to be on the same page with regards to their mutual attraction but…Overall, this is a fun, short story that Ms. Grayson penned to titillate readers and have them wanting more. Luckily there are more books coming shortly.
