I love box sets for easy rereading of a series I enjoyed. In the case of the Borealis Bears, I even bought the audible versions. That pretty much says it all. This author is a keeper for me for nearly all of her books.

1 - THE BEAR’S CHOSEN MATE
A lovely and enjoyable read about three shifter brothers, whose grandfather decides to meddle in their lives by forcing them to seek mates.
Though this plot has been done before, this differs in that these men are polar bears and go into mating fever once a year which makes their grandfathers timeline a bit difficult.
James and Kaylee have been best friends for years but have never moved forward from that position even though both have feelings of wanting more.
James decides Kaylee will be his mate instead of fate deciding.
Kaylee believes she is not good enough for James and would not be able to support him as the public face of Borealis Gems.
But when the mating fever, a storm and a lightning strike combine, decisions must be made as to what will happen between them.
Really enjoyed the internal dialogues, found them both humorous and snarky, between James and his bear and Kaylee and her mountain lion.
A thoroughly enjoyable read with characters you feel invested in and barrack for.
The next book with Alex and Lara has already grabbed my interest. Then we will have Cooper and his HEA.

2 - THE BEAR’S FATED MATE
Two potential adversaries become true mates.
Ms Arend has once again written a series that is a keeper.
The second brother Alex and the wonderfully competent Lara are manipulated by the canny gramps.
Such a good fun read and though there is plenty of sex, it is not overpowering the story to the exclusion of the likeable characters and the humour.
I kept chuckling at Alex’s bears’ attitude and smart comments. Such a clever bear knowing what was happening and pushing Alex.
I did feel sorry for Lara’s wolf, pinning for her mate all that time but the ending was great, with Alex coming to the right conclusion by himself.
The reasoning behind the takeover rumours was well played out.
OMG. The teddy song scene in the Sirius Trouble bar was just hilarious. I would pay to see that. LOL.

3 - THE BEAR’S FOREVER MATE
Such an entertaining read.
A nice conclusion to the tale of three brothers manipulated into mating by their interfering grandfather.
The dialogue between Cooper and his bear had me in stitches. And how the communication worked between Amber and his bear was wonderfully clever.
Poor Cooper and his five-year plan, just didn’t work out as his OCD list making lifestyle expected.
He was very lucky that Amber wanted him so much, any other woman would have given up.
I didn’t feel as much connection or spark between these two H’s as I did the previous two couples but it still worked very well due to Amber and Cooper having known and worked together for a couple of years.
Really enjoyed travelling through the wilds of Alaska as Amber tracked down her missing brother. The dog sled trekking idea and laughed out loud at Dixon’s antics.
Loved the ending, so entertaining and a great surprise.

Great collection! Loved these stories!

I really enjoyed this collection! I loved having all 3 brothers' stories together and able to jump from one into the next. We get to know and see all of the brothers throughout the series and so we get to know things about them ahead of time as well as get catch ups for how they are doing afterwards. These stories were all entertaining and I loved how the stories were different as they all had different personalities so things played out differently. The Borealis boys are all handed a challenge/ultimatum by their grandfather that they are not to avoid and ignore their mating fever anymore and have to actually try to find a mate and give it a chance this year otherwise he will get rid of the company, to their competitors on top of it, and not pass it on to them. This was highly entertaining and interesting watching the different ways this played out with the brothers and how they all planned to potentially get by with doing bare minimum to satisfy their grandfather without actually getting locked in for mates. I also loved how that all adjusted and changed as circumstances lined themselves up. There was plenty of action and antics in all of the books and throughout the series to grab and hold a readers attention the entire time. It was highly entertaining and I definitely laughed out loud throughout the series. I loved the bear personalities that we got to see as well and how they interacted with both their human counterpart and their mate. This was really cute and I would highly recommend reading.

This trilogy is the story of the Borealis polar bear brothers and how each one found their mate. Each brother faces mating fever with a different solution but still gives in to nature and finds their mate Well written, great storylines with a HEA ending. Worth reading.

polar bear fun

Light hearted romp. A bit predictable but still fun. First book a little too much sex and romance and not enough story. The next two are better

Vivian Arend Borealis Bears bks 01-03

Grandparent Meddling

I kinda like these big, clumsy polar bear shifters. 😉 The stories are entertaining while also bringing plenty of sizzle. Reading in order is recommended.

The narrator is Tatiana Sokolov. She consistently does a good job narrating, and I enjoyed listening.

Here are my individual reviews for each book. Happy reading! 📚💋

The Bear's Chosen Mate 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - Exceptions for the Cute Furry One
I like how Kaylee Banks and James Borealis expand their friendship to include some... very passionate playtime. I love how we get to see the trueness of their friendship, their patience and confidence in that relationship even after they cross into much more.

There was a problem. A great big enormous one, one hundred percent on her side of the equation.

She was hopelessly, helplessly in lust with one of her best friends. He not only had no idea, but she was the last person on earth he needed in his life as anything other than a friend.

-- Kaylee Banks

There's trouble brewing, not only with how the Borealis men handle their meddling grandfather and his demands, but also the ladies that are going to spin them on their heads. I look forward to enjoying more.

I read along with the audio book.

The Bear's Fated Mate 🌟🌟🌟🌟 - The Wooing Bear
Alex Borealis and Lara Lazuli are "mysteriously" thrown together (in my opinion, there really isn't any mystery to it) with interesting consequences. The way the prior book ended was a fantastic introduction to these two together. I love the challenge. It is freaking hilarious.

Lara slammed her lips together, mostly to stop from drooling. Alex Borealis smiling did something dangerous to her hormones.
-- Lara Lazuli

The potential issues within her pack turn out to be good for a couple of reasons. The biggest is pushing her and Alex together. The other you'll have to read to find out. All in all, it is an entertaining book with plenty of steam and laughs.

The Bear's Forever Mate 🌟🌟🌟🌟 .5 - Best Laid Plans Crashed
This was my favorite from the series. Cooper Borealis is completely ridiculous, but I love how Amber Myawayan smashes down his walls to get what she wants, when she wants, not on Cooper's schedule.

Now was the time for patience and logic and, above all else, to avoid being caught alone with the delectable Amber Myawayan.
-- Cooper Borealis

I love all the family and friends shenanigans. They had me laughing aloud on a few occasions. And the truth of how some plans had been put into motion sooner than thought is perfect. Hehehe....

Amber has a mystery to solve, and I like how everyone rallies around her to get to the truth. It ends up being quite the adventure! 🔥😂🐻‍❄👧🏻🎉
