OMG!!! Mia & these guys!🔥🥵🥵
Mia is such a great FMC, she has a dark past with secrets. One she’s trying to escape, but as we all know, our past is never really in the past, and poor Mia has to face hers! And these 4 guys! The perfect alpha’s, possessive, dark, and really hot.
This enemies/lovers RH is definitely a MUST READ! It’s got secrets, suspense, really hot scenes, & guys who will do anything for their girl!
From the first page up to that cliffhanger I was hooked!
You definitely don’t want to pass this book up! Ms Woods nails it!

What do you get when you mix RH with bully and mafia romance? Heirs of Havoc! This is my first read by L.J Woods and i was not at all disappointed. This book drew me in and I couldn’t put it down. I was constantly on edge thinking what will happen next. No way did the story end like that. The cliffhanger at then end did get me and I do hate cliffhangers but it definitely makes me what to read the next book.

The great thing about this book was that it most definitely got better as you got further along. In fact, as I got to the end, the unexpected twists caught me by complete surprise giving us a whopper of a cliffhanger!!

It's a hard book to describe! The story flows but there's no actual story....? I'll try to explain!

It begins with our FMC Mia hiding her surname at her new college. The first of many secrets and lies.

So many characters are introduced without actually saying why.  Or who they are to her. There are Russians. But the hierarchy isn't explained till later so it's not too clear if they're working together or if they even like each other.

Then there's all these guys that her dad sends popping up. First they act nice to her, hiding their true nature and intention to snatch her and drag her home. The Russians seem happy to take care of these guys even tho they don't appear to like Mia...? Huh?

The thing that also very much frustrates me is Dom constantly calling Mia a whore - and not in a sexy way. He means it in a degrading way - even tho we find out later, he knows he took her virginity.

Once we find out what the issue between Mia and Dom is.....I'm slightly disappointed. It doesn't seem a huge reason to cause all this fuss.

The sexual tension between the twins, Feliks and Mia does get electric at times but again, it feels just like sex. Not anything more. And as for Dom, he seems so angry with her and doesn't show any care or positive emotion towards her that I can't see how anything can develop while he has this chip on his shoulder.

Mia seems terrified of going home aswell but after coming to an arrangement with the Russians, she does so. If her father is meant to be this big bad Italian mafia boss....I'm not sure how everything that went down ...well - went down! Mia shouldn't have been able to get even close to her father with a gun. Dom certainly shouldn't have been able to get to the room from the outside without alerting security...

I don't know. It just didn't gel in my head. I'm so sorry!

But! But But But!! The last few chapters seem so different! The twists actually made the story a better story and into something I want to know more! I need to know what's happened to everyone! And yes OK- I need to know if the twins, Feliks and Mia can really make a go of it! I need to see Dom grovel!

The blurb and all the triggers listed got me so excited for this book.
But.... BUT!
This book clearly said book 1. Yet up until 40% of the book, i'm missing the where and what is Mia connection to the boys. What was her sins to make her "deserved" their violence bullying? Making her reaction to their sexual endevour feels more like sexual attacks and can't understand her feeling turn on with it🤔
I feel like missing a huge massive super important chunk here.
And when they were reveal, it was just talk like in the passing. Like it wasn't important. But Dom, still his anger burn like wild fire.

Told completely from Mia's POV, i wish to see all four boys POV for all i see is three little boys blindly following one angry boy in his rage.
There's no respect from Dom to his three goons. And yes i said goons for Lev, Vlad and Felixs didn't feel like equal to Dom. There's no friendship or brotherhood feels from them. Their loyalty feels vulnerable for they are blind.
No one put Dom in his place or dare to speak up for Mia even when they know the truth.

And they way they keep whipping out g*ns? Ah dudes need to check their bad boy status at the door.

While the boys chemistry with Mia? Non existance.
I get the degradation in smegsi scenes can be hot kink. But Dom keep slinging the word s**t, w**er, c**t, etc only leave degradation and not sexy at all.
Not one of these boys tried talking to Mia on why she got all there violence until half the book. And even then, Dom still act like a*hole who can handle anger management.

And Mia? She have no backbone. Not once she force Dom to talk. The only i get from her was how she can't understand why she's lusting over each boys while they do nothing but bully her.

So many part are so wrong. İ'll give all the three star for the f**edup twisted darkness the author want to pull up.
But i wish the legs are stronger to hold the plot.
The charachters have no chemistry for me.
The smegsi scenes are dirty, steamy if you overlook the need for chemistry to hold the RH theme.

One thing i love about dark bullying specially with RH romamce in the mix is how i can hate their bullies act, yet stand by their reasons while lusting over their dominant no nonsense alpha with the girl strong enough to fight back.

But, alas, i have no love lost for each of the charachter. And with the ending? Nope, this book is just not for me.

DANG! That ending tho!

So, this book was crazy. I'm going to admit, I was SO lost in the beginning, I had no idea what was happening, but it was utter chaos, and I couldn't stop turning the pages. We get that something bad happened before and this is the residual.

We really don't know what fully happened until about 60% in. Mia Merlo is mafia royalty. Even when she doesn't desire to be. She was clearly degraded by her father and does not want to be a pawn in his mafia games and definitely does not want to be a bride for better business deals.

When Lev Reznikov, Vlad Reznikov and Feliks Ivankov come for payback for what she did to their brother, I don't think any of them expected to feel the pull toward each other as they all do. When Mia tries and tries again to get the truth out, she is constantly stepped over or bullied or something happens in general and when she is threatened to complete a task, she really didn't think it had anything to do with breaking Dominik Federov out of prison.

Fast forward and this twisted love story is full of push and pull. The author does an amazing job with giving us just enough of the craziness that we still aren't 100% sure who to believe and what the guys true intentions are! When Mia's own father is out to get her home, he'll stop at nothing to get her back.

The roller coaster of emotions Mia faces with Dominik and the guys was overwhelming. They all clearly want something but need to have a serious conversation. That is something they just cant get to with all of the bullets and heated make out sessions and conniving going on.

I really enjoyed this story and can't wait for book 2. I was sucked into this storyline and did not want to leave it. I'm hoping in Book 2, Mia learns to take care of herself a little more and gets more backbone. I would LOVE to see her put the guys in their place. Dominik needs to come begging. lol.

*Overall 5/5
*Heat? 3/5
*Med Burn
*First person POV (Mia only) I would have really enjoyed the guys POV too.
*Triggers (check before)
*Ends in cliffhanger

This is a good start to a new series, and I think it’s going to be an interesting storyline to see play out, but I started getting confused by some of the characters and had to go back a time or two. I see this series becoming a really good one, so I will read the next one too.

5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.

4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.

3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.

2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.

1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

I am so excited that L.J. Woods was writing an RH that this book became an automatic buy. I got even luckier with receiving an ARC, and oh my gosh this book is so amazing!

Our FMC Mia is attending Saint Angels Academy, she’s got a job, friends and is fitting in. She’s finally in charge of her own life, everything is going good… until men from her past barge back into her life. Unfortunately a few things went down and even though she did help get Dom out of prison. Once he’s finally free, he goes on a revenge spree. He draws in his 3 men, Lev, Vlad and Feliks to help him on his crusade to make Mia pay. These guys have a tight bond, and will do anything for each other. These guys are true Alpha-holes, there is nothing “soft” about them, but this is a dark romance after all, moral grey men all around.

This book will keep you on the edge of your seat with needing to know what happens next between everything happening to Mia. So many issues with her father, the guys, and all things mafia related.

My only wish for this book is that I wish it was multi POV, it would be interesting to see the guys points of view, especially when they found out the truth. I can’t wait for book 2 to come out, I really need to know what happens next for our girl and her men.

This is a dark romance with a few triggers that readers should be aware of. Bullying, violence, death, stalking, gunplay, religious references, humiliation, degradation, substance abuse and other mature situations.

Oh my Mia!!! This book is just the start of an amazing series!!!! I can’t wait to get the next one!!! This books is definitely an enemies to lovers book!!!

Mia is just trying to live her life and get out from under everyone’s thumb. She’s going to school at Saint Angels Academy. Where she thinks no one knows who she is, or where she is.
2 years ago a bad decision changed the lives of Mia and Dom. Now Dom’s crew, Lev, Vlad and Feliks are back in Mia’s life. No one has asked Mia about what happened 2 years ago that sent Dom to prison. Everyone is angry and attracted to each other. Now Mia is helping the guys get Dom out of prison. Once Dom is out, he goes straight to angry and starts treating Mia as a prison. Mia is angry about everything the guys are putting her through, all the while she is tore between her attraction for each other them. When everyone but Dom finds out the truth about 2 years ago, things start to change in the group. The last few chapters get really intense and some big decision are made by both Mia and the guys.

This book is Mia’s POV, I personally love a duel/multiple POV. I wish I knew what all the guys were thinking, and how their feeling.

Over all this book is amazing. I feel for Mia and her inner turmoil with trying to be strong. Not a lot a spicy, but there is some. Individual and group scenes. I believe once we get more into the series there will be plenty. I can’t wait to dive in and see how things progress from here.

Review: Heirs Of Havoc.
(Saint Angles Empire Book 1)
By: L.J. Woods.
Stars: 5\5⭐.
ARC Copy📚.

This was a amazing book! I'm in love here. I didn't even know about Heirs Of Havoc until I saw a review about it on Instagram. I was then lucky enough to receive a ARC Copy by L.J. Woods. I can't thank you enough. If it was possible to give a book more then 5 stars then I would. HOH would get hands down 10 stars. It was that good in my own opinion.

Heirs Of Havoc was a very gritty book, be aware of some triggers. Humiliation, bullying, and drug use are some that are within the story. Within the first chapter I was hooked. It has alot going on, but its very easy to understand.

Mia has got a good thing going on at Saint Angles Academy. She's fitting in, got a job, and has got friends. And most importantly, she's in charge of her own life... Then suddenly, men from her past are coming in. Men that she thought she would never see again... And let me tell y'all, the men in this series? So hot and sexy 😛.

I said it before and I'll say it again. I loved this book! I need book 2, because that ending? Crazy! One thing that I loved about HOH is that it's a RH book and that Mia has a past with all the guys, especially with Dom. So you'll pick up on that once you get reading. And as the story goes, you'll get more information on the past.

This book did not disappoint, I was hooked from the first chapter. Mia is running from her past. We are not sure why or what she is running from but things get difficult when the 4 hotties come back into her life. We do eventually see the past and what happened but takes some time and in the mean time you get to know the characters in the present. I enjoyed this so much and can not wait to see what happens in the next book. That ending is going to make it difficult to wait till the next book comes out. The author did such a fantastic job of writing a story where I did not know the next move of the characters. It’s not very often I read a book and feel the uneasiness that the characters may not be safe or may screw each other over. This kept me on the edge always wondering. I was never sure of what would happen next. Case in point that ending 😂😂. This is a reverse harem and all the characters bring something different to the table. The build up and spicy scenes were great. Definitely recommend this book!!

There’s no wading in here, we’re instantly thrown into the deep end and I loved it! Mia is basically in hiding in a small bible loving town going to school. But it seems that her brief taste of freedom is over as not only her mafia Don father and arranged fiancé have found her but her bullies as well. Honestly she’s not sure who she’s more scared of. Vlad, Lev, Feliks and Dom are out for revenge against Mia as they believe she’s the reason Dom has spent years in prison. She tries to explain the truth but Dom won’t hear if it. Luckily the twins realize she’s telling the truth but it doesn’t seem to matter after all. They keep putting her in her fathers path along with William, her forced fiancé. Things take a turn that no one saw coming and one of the monsters is now eliminated but at what cost? It seems she’s all alone…again and this time she’s the one going to seek revenge. Very much looking forward to book two and hoping Mia gets that back bone she’s definitely going to need!

A Very Good Start To Series!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review

L.J. Woods is a new to me Author and I will definitely be checking out her other books for sure after reading this Dark Enemies to Lovers Mafia Reverse Harem book.

The characters were phenomenal, although I really wish Mia was a bit of a tougher FMC especially with her dark past which sadly will come back to haunt her and get her back. But she definitely holds her own against her crazy jealous stalkers. Lev, Vlad, Dom and Feliks are dark, brooding, cruel and possessive alpha males all the way and they definitely bring the heat in this book. These four men are the lesser evils of Mia’s past that she ran from and they all take us on a crazy wild ride. Warning this is book one in a series and ends on one heck of a cliffhanger but it will definitely leave you wanting more. Can’t wait to find out where this author takes us next with these amazing characters. Definitely recommend this book.

I received a copy of this arc in exchange for my honest review. This book. THIS BOOK. This is a dark reverse harem romance. You would never know this is this author’s first go with this trope, because she knocked it out of the park , which I knew going into it she would ! I have read every single one of her books, and not once has she disappointed. You like dark, bully trope? She is an instant one click .
Mia is done with her father, not wanting anything to do with her Mafia family. She now attends a wealthy University , away from the Bratva and away from her father. At least she thinks she is. She thinks she is tucked away safely in her dorm, until her past she’s been running from , finds her. These boys will ruin her.
I can’t go into this plot much without ruining it. You need to go in blind, it’s better that way !
This is the first in this series, and Smith leaves us with a cliffhanger that will leave your head reeling. These bad boys are ruthless deviants, but you will become addicted to them quick. I was addicted the chapter they were introduced. Or am I just sick? If loving everything about these boys makes me sick, I don’t wanna be better.
Woods creates a hot, dark and addicting world, and there’s nowhere I’d rather be. I need more of Mia and her boys STAT. Im addicted and need more!
Heed to trigger warnings !

I will start by saying that I enjoyed the book more as it went on. I struggled getting into the story at the beginning but I liking where the story was headed towards the end. The last few chapters had quite a few twists that I definitely didn't see coming and that have me excited to read the next book.

I will be honest and say that Mia wasn't one of my favorite FMC, especially at the start of the book. I thought she came off very weak especially coming from a mafia family. Towards the end she was starting to grow on me so I am excited to see where her character will go in the next book. I have high hopes for her. I liked the twins and I loved Feliks. Dom, I did not like but again maybe he will grow on me in the next book.

This book is a good start to a new series and with the ending, I am excited to read book two.

★ “When he met you, everything changed.” ★

—>>> I found I had to navigate what was a little bit of murkiness in the beginning chapter or two, but once the story got rolling, it kept my interest. Intriguing four Heirs of Havoc characters, with multiple POVs giving up information what their actions could not do. Mia is trying to distance herself from her mafia father, but he wants her back. That means no more hiding from him at her academy. The Heirs have found her and also won’t leave her alone, making her life miserable on campus, besides the other students. There are some heated moments between Mia and these Heirs, as well as a lot of drama for Mia to take in. I’m ready to know what happens next, what with the cliffhanger ending. Great start to this series. I hope to see much more from Dom, who at this point is still not ready to have anything to do with Mia.

Heirs of Havoc is the 1st book in the Saint Angels Empire series. It's a dark reverse harem, mafia, enemies to lovers romance. You need to make sure to read the Trigger Warning. I'm going to admit, I was lost in the beginning, and had no idea what was happening, but I quickly caught on, and it was utter chaos. I couldn't stop turning the pages.
Mia is done with her father, not wanting anything to do with her Mafia family. She decides to attend a wealthy University, away from the Bratva, and away from her father. At least she thinks she is, as she's quickly found by Dom, Vlad, Lev and Feliks who catch up to Mia and remind her that the past doesn't always stay in the past.
This book just took off from pg 1 and didn't stop until it got to that shocking cliffhanger, but it's so good you won't mind the wait. I'd definitely recommend one clicking it.

This book was impossible to put down. It kept me interested from the first page. I usually don't read books that involve a bully, let alone a reverse haram full of bullies, but this was really good. The ending wasn't what I expected and I am looking forward to reading the second book.
I hope there is some better communication in the second book between Mia and her men because the lack of communication and actually being open and honest was pretty frustrating at times. Once again, I'm generally not a reader of bully romances so maybe this is really common. 🤞🏻 Fingers crossed for more character development in the second book.

Heirs of Havoc

This was a good start to what couldn't turn out to be an amazing series. So it took a while for me to figure out who everyone was and how they were connected. Mia is obviously trying to get away from someone or something in her past, but it is coming back to haunt her with a vengeance.

I hope that in future books we get more background into Mia's past and time spent with the boys before she ran and started school here. Maybe some POVs from the guys perspective too, because right now I am still not sure about them. Especially after that cliffhanger. I just don't know if they are genuine.

With that being said, this is just book 1 and I realize she can't give us all the answers we want, yet. I think this book set us up for a great series to come.

I enjoyed this book. I was a little worried that the men folk would never change their ways and while they kinda didn’t they kinda did. lol.

My only thing I question and took a star for were…

1) shes gives a guy a key to get out of jail. So technically helped him escape right? Then why is no one looking for him as an escapee minus time merlot

2) Also the piercing…everyone I know who got a tongue piercing could like barely talk cause of swelling.

Spice was good but ya know ya girl needs a scene with everyone and we only really got Penetration with 1. Lots of foreplay 👅. No group scenes and the damp-o-meter to max out requires all these things 🤣

Can’t wait to read book 2 and what happens to our FMC and how she gets her revenge and on who

Heirs of Havoc is the first book I’ve read by this author but it definitely won’t be the last! Holy cow, this book blew me away! It is full of action, twists and turns, secrets, lies, deception, suspense, mystery, drama, angst, spice…you name it and this book has it!

Mia just wants to lead a simple life and get out from under her fathers thumb. But when the boys from her past find her things go a little crazy. Dom, Vlad, Felix’s, and Lev are true alpha males through and through! I loved every second of this book! The only thing I would change is that I wish it was multiple pov. I would love to know what was going through the guys heads through everything! After that cliffhanger I need book two…NOW!

This is book one of a series and it is full of action, twists and turns. While I was reading this book, I was wondering why Mia has hiding at a christian academy and why she was forced to adopt a new idenity to conceal who she is: the daughter of a powerful Italian mobster. And then why the Bratva mafia is set to protect her from the otsiders but ruin her at the same time?

This is a book that has you questioning who is the hero, who is the villain and most importantly who is the enemy. Add a pair of twin brothers Vlad the fighter and Lev the charmer, Feliks the guy that will brutally serenade you and Dom who just dominates every breath Mia takes and you have an explosive mix at the sinister city of Clementine that detonates causing a brutal cliffhanger.

Cannot wait for book 2.

LJ Woods killed it with this reverse harem!!!

Heirs of Havoc is book #1 in the Saint Angels Empire series. Its a dark reverse harem, mafia, enemies to lovers romance. Make sure to read the Trigger Warning.

I can't believe this is LJs first RH! I love all her other books so much, and now I'm in love with this book and cant wait for more in the series!!

Clementine is a crazy ass town! When Mia's past come back, she is in for a wild ride!

I dont wanna give anything away, Mia and her 4 possessive, kinda crazy, super hot guys, Dom, Lev, Vlad, and Feliks take you on a hell of a ride!! The spice is insanely HOT, we get some crazy twists you won't see coming, and a story that will have you glued to the pages!

And that cliffhanger!?!?!? I NEED book 2 so bad!!!

I have enjoyed bully romance and mafia romance and this book gives you both all wrapped up in one! For me personally it didn’t really start getting good or connecting the dots until about half way through the book. Throughout this whole book Feliks was by far my favorite character. The intimate moments between him and Mia were the best ones for me. I enjoyed his soft yet brutal side. The twins were brutal yet gentle and I absolutely did not like Dom at all, he was the only character I couldn’t get behind. I do wish there was more backstory to how the group all got together and how they met Mia. I did not enjoy how the book ended, cliffhanger or not, I thought they deserved something better going into the next book. Overall, I thought it was a good book and im glad I read it.

Oh WOW! I loved this book so much! Heirs of Havoc by L.J. Woods hit all the right notes! I mean heat, intrigue, drama, and did I say HEAT?! I mean she came from a small community; church attendance was expected on every Sunday and then to attend a Christian University. Check, check and check! Those type of expectations will make you want to break away and oh boy Mia does!
Enter Lev, Vlad, Feliks and throw in Dominik Fedorov! Now the fun begins! What's a girl to do?
I do not want to say too much, because you really NEED to read this one. I 100% recommend this one and am sure that you will not be disappointed you did!

This book..first it’s super dark, I love me some bully romance and even I cringed at some of the scenes. But for those who love bully romance- this is for you! Mia and her men were absolute fire- this has all of what we love in RH romances (plus twins) including one with a big chip on his shoulder, the sensitive one and then the others who come in and out as jerks/heavies/comic relief. It’s pretty much gold all the way through. The book also ends on a pretty major cliff hanger and now I’m left needing to know now how things turn out for these guys! Can’t wait to find out in book 2!.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- just in case you didn’t hear me the first time- this author will forever be an automatic one click for me. She can write a bully romance like nobody else and this book is no exception. Give me all the A-hole alpha males you’ve got Ms. Woods 😉

When I heard she was writing a(n) RH and then met the twins at the end of Give Her Hell (it is not necessary to read the other books in this series however I highly recommend you do) I knew I was a goner and here I am in a puddle. Lev and Vlad are 🔥🔥🔥then she throws Dom and Feliks at us and holy hell….these guys clearly have a tight bound and while it feels a bit unconventional I can totally feel that they would do anything for each other. This author always gives us the best FMC and Mia is no exception- she rose to the challenge even with everything these guys put her through.

This book is full of the bully vibes my dark little heart loves, the spice is off the Scoville Scale and the suspense had me flipping the pages. Be prepared for an ending that will have you shocked and eager for more.

WOW. I really really liked this first book in the Saint Angels Empire. I would actually give it four and a half stars. I am definitely going to pre-order the next one!
From the beginning it jumps right into things and starts with a bang. Things taper off a little after and I thought the story was a little confusing and couldn't really work out what was happening. It took a little to get in to it but when things started unfolding and the story started to fall into place, wow!
Initially I thought it was a little slow going but if you are in the same boat, KEEP GOING! There is actually a LOT going on and as you read the plot lines fall into the right places. The end is a cliffhanger and what a doozy of one.
DEFINITELY DEFINITELY read this one if you like DARK mafia romance.
