This is Robert the Allotment cat's second and last book. Written before he tragically lost his life and released posthumously, this book is a real treat for those who enjoyed Robert's daily Tweets. The book has chapters written by the other cats, and an interview with Red Fred.
Even if you aren't one of Robert's 42000 Twitter fans, this book is a great insight into a special allotment site in the UK.
I’ve followed Robert since the petition, through all the good and bad times and had bought this book when it was published but it’s taken me quite a while to feel up to reading it. I’m glad I finally did as it’s a lovely tribute to Robert and all the cats and a reminder of the peaceful and gentle times at the allotments. Lovely photos in the book as well, it was good to see everyone when they were younger too.
I follow cats in Twitter, and Robert was one of my favorites. We all miss him. Dorothy is trying to fill us in on what is happening on the allotments. It was interesting reading the different cat histories. Bless you Robert.
Like a great many people I was horrified when Robert was killed. Funny how attached one can get. This book is a fitting memorial for the beautiful boy. Engaging and sweet.
This book is a lovely tribute to Robert. The Preface and Dorothy's Final Thoughts made me cry. I enjoyed finding out the back stories of the other cats and learning more about the allotments. Colin is a very talented gardener! RIP dear Robert.
