How to write? అనే టాపిక్ ని ఇంత interesting గా రాయటం ఖదీర్బాబుకే చెల్లింది. The craft of writing గురించి beginner writers కే కాదు, పుస్తకాలు చదివే వారు కూడా ఎంతో కొంత బేసిక్స్ తెలుసుకుంటే, కథ-కథకుడి మీద appreciation పెరుగుతుంది అని నా భావన.
'Elements of style' by Strunk & White and scientific writing మీద articles చదివినప్పుడు ఈ టాపిక్ చాలా lifeless గా అనిపిస్తుంది చాలా మందికి. అందులో proficiency పెంచుకోవటం తప్పదు అన్నప్పుడు కష్టపడి చదివి ఎంతో కొంత వంటబట్టించు కోవడమే తప్ప, దాన్ని ఇష్టంగా చదివింది లేదు. But Khaderbabu's approach is the best way to communicate and learn this skill. He incorporated the technicalities and elements in writing seamlessly within the numerous references as well as quick summaries of the stories themselves. This is a great way to tease the reader and make them interested to find the sources and explore further on their own.
ఈ పుస్తకంలో refer చేసిన stories and authors ఆధారంగా చాలా రోజులు పుస్తక పఠనం నిరాఘాటంగా సాగించుకోవచ్చు. This book is a treasure trove for Telugu literature in stories.
For budding writers and those looking to improve the craft, it teaches the writing aspects in an engaging way. Even if you are only a reader, it is an easy read and doesn't feel academic.
