I don’t know what is up with the low ratings. I just read this and I found it really sweet. The story was actually better than I expected. Li Shu reminds me of Limited Possession’s Tu Yan. Except he is much more mature in thinking and doesn’t lash out in a childish way. The story plot revolves only at their relationship and nothing else. Other story aspects were just lightly mentioned. The focus was between the ml and mc’s feelings, misunderstandings and realizations. I got so emotionally invested in the couple to the point that I can feel both of their pain, sadness, disappointments and frustration; as well as their happiness and reliefs. It was quite a short read and honestly, I wanted more. I was shocked to suddenly find out I was already at the last chapter. Totally recommend this for those looking for a quick read.
This author has become my favorite. They have ways with describing and comparing loves. I love that the leads are both flawed but yet for each other they are just fit like no other would.
