Discarded
Five years ago I was tossed aside. a failed experiment.
I should have known they’d never really let me go.
They made one really stupid mistake though. They hired the wrong mercenaries.
Together the brooding kelpie, wildcard puka, and hot nerdy witch were supposed to hand me over to the man who tossed me into the gutter. Instead they took me and the money, and ran.
If my kidnappers had any sense they would have sold me off to the highest bidder. Except they didn’t.
The kelpie teaches me what it is to trust.
The puka shows me how to let go.
The witch dares me to be vulnerable.
Those who discarded me continue to hunt me. They’re not finished with me. Except now I’m not the weak little girl I was. Now I have three predators at my back, and we’re going to turn the darkness they put inside me against them.
They might have discarded me, but I will ruin them.
Discarded is a standalone paranormal RH. Kyra ends the book with a happy ending and three men all of her own.

DNF @ 28%.
This book seems…chaotic. I can’t really think of a better word than that.
All characters seem like nothing more than surface level, no depth at all. They keep alluding to the same things (events that bonded them etc.) but don’t go into much detail & its starting to get annoying.
The guys are all…lame? The FMC is boring.
The story itself could be interesting, definitely has potential, but there’s virtually no world building.The author explained what a kelpie was but mentioned the puka at least a hundred times with no explanation on what exactly a puka was other than they’re known to be tricky. There were also several times where I thought I’d skipped a page or misread something because the story / conversation just randomly jumped around (almost seemed like the author was just writing stream of consciousness at times).
All in all, wouldn’t recommend.

Great read
Enjoyed this standalone with a possessed death witch, Kyra, kidnapped by mercenaries and ultimately working with them to right the wrongs of her father and ex fiancé. This book is quite fast paced, loads going on and medium burn. Enjoyed the supporting character, Zara. 4 star read. Recommend.

Awesomely Amazing!!!
This book was definitely better than expected. I love the wildness of the main characters and how well they fit together. 😍 I loved every minute I had with them.

Love the character’s in this book. They all had different trauma filled past but with each other they were able to overcome it. Can’t wait to read the story about Zara
