read aloud to Justin, the story of Iowa State's first black football player, he died in his second game from internal injuries, was a hero then forgotten. Years later, his story was rediscovered and suggested for the football stadium name.

Great story about Jack Trice! Most of this information was brand new to me. You need to LOVE football and details of games (plays, coaching, etc.) to LOVE this book.
