Zara Can a friends with benefits relationship ever be just that? Me and my best friend Buckie certainly thought so. Until he got his big break and Hollywood stole him from me. It broke my heart to let him go and it shattered me when I realised all too late that I was in love with him. Now he’s back, and looking to pick up where we left off. I know it’s dangerous waters to consider treading. And I’m about to find out just how dangerous his world is when my life is upended at the hands of the baying paparazzi. I love him, but is it enough to live my life through a lens for? Buckie Zara was my best friend, the love of my life, the one I could tell anything to. So why couldn’t I have told her I loved her? I left Scotland for Hollywood with so many regrets, so when a London premiere allows us to reconnect I all but jump at the chance to see her again. Time has done nothing to quash my feelings for her, but I know she’ll never feel the same about me. Convincing her to pick up where we left off has been surprisingly easy, but my life is about to be sabotaged. It’s going to wreak havoc with our fragile relationship and potentially ruin Zara’s life. I have to find out who is behind this smear campaign or risk losing my best friend forever. Get this new addition to the Game Series now!!
I'll give you the rating first, then the review because, haha, I'm using the summary I sent to my novio, and it has spoilers. But it's hilarious and perfect and I have to. 😂 Okay, so rating: 8/10. It's very cliche, but a fun storyline with good smut (and I loved that the smut started on page 69. 😂)
SUMMARY:
The guy is a famous movie star, the girl owns bars and a strip club in Glasgow. Typical friends-to-lovers, they're hesitant to start the relationship, then when they finally decide to try it, there's a big dumb miscommunication (ugh, least favorite trope) and they're upset with each other for a while, but then the problems gets solved and yay happily ever after with my second least favorite trope: pregnancy. That's the whole book, essentially, with smut thrown in intermittently. 😂

I was expecting to love this book, since I simply adore all this author's books, and this fabulous celebrities friend-to-lovers romance totally hit the spot. I loved Zara who is one of the side characters in War Games, and I'm so glad she got her own love story. Totally adored every moment of it and Stewart definitely kept me on my toes the entire time as I simply couldn't see how the resolution was going to come about.
What an absolute delight this was. I loved everything and was totally hooked from page 1. I adored Buckie and Zara. Their chemistry was hot, the banter was funny and I was just so invested in them. Few dramas to fix on their journey but oh what a read ❤️
So glad we got to see Zara have her own story after being introduced in the previous book of the series. After her busy life and success, I loved reading how she got her happily ever after with her best friend
