This was a rollicking urban fantasy adventure. I enjoyed the interplay between Lynnette and Charlie that formed the backdrop of the tale & made this a kind of rich slice of life for two real people, as opposed to a superficial plot-driven story. The plot details like the dowsing, and the flying carpet sequences were fun and enjoyable. There's a lot of world-building packed into this tale, but it's easy to follow & I look forward to reading more from this author.
