Margot and Jamie
This is my favorite of this series. The story flowed well for being a short read and the relationship progressed without feeling rushed. I loved the bond between Margot and her brother—that really hit home for me. And the way Jamie loves them both and recognized the package deal from the start (and without having to be told) yeah, he could get it.

Jamie seems to be the mover and the shaker, better yet, even the casanova of the three lawyers, and best friends in this series. He is the glue, also. The one with the single mom, that kept the college boys together, especially, around the holidays. They better not think, about skipping out on that, either.
Family is important, to Jamie. Yet, he was the last man standing, of the three. It was not because he was holding out, it was because he hadn’t found the girl, that made him take notice. That is until, he moves back into, the original building he grew up in. But, into the penthouse since now, that he owns the building.
However, to his surprise, naked, and prepared to enter his shower, he is met with a scream, from his bathtub. He turns to find the most gorgeous bubbled beauty ever in his tub trying to cover up. At the same time, so is he, both find it challenging.
In his tub, he finds out is the replacement maid. Who is under the impression, that he hadn’t been to the apartment, in two, and half years. He found it humorous. Enough to ask, if she regularly took the liberty, to use the amenities, in clients' homes. She tries to give him, a man well over, six and a half feet, the stink eye. Her a woman a little over half his size, it only makes her, endearing to him.
What brings his heart full circle, to open up to her, is that she and her brother, whom she is raising live in the apartment he and his mom lived in. Until he was, eighteen. What is surprisingly special about Jamie's story, compared to, Declan’s and Sam’s, is there was no rush.
He was willing to wait for her and build a slow burn in their relationship. He knew she was raising her brother, and he didn't want to overstep, that at all. Sweet sexy story of a man in love that knew she was coming as a package deal.

Fate is something else when she wants two people together they will be together and just wow on how she threw these two together picture this you coming home from a workout wanting a shower and walk into your bathroom and there is a someone in your tub soaking ….yep that is the start of this roller coaster ride now this is book three of the Steamy Shorts series each book reads as a standalone and it can be read in under an hour or so enjoy it because it reads quickly 😊. Margot is tired, overworked, not enough hours in one day to do all that needs to be done, caring for others hasn’t been easy working two jobs to make ends meet and her boss isn’t supposed to be home for a while she decides to take a soak in his tub (he walks in). Jamie sexy as all get out lawyer with money usually those two equals an arrogance but not Jamie he is understanding of her situation, sweet to her and owns the building she lives in. The attractions between them is instant and intense from the moment he caught her in his tub and the more time they spend with/around each other the stronger the magnetic pull between them grows he wants to help, she needs the help but will she accept it, will he convince her that she is everything to him no matter the differences, will she get a chance to live her life and can they find their own HEA?.

I absolutely devoured all the novellas in this series in one day. If you love insta-love, opposite side of the tracks vibes you will love this story. Jamie stole my heart and I swooned when he took Margot on their first date. Out of all three guys, Jamie is my favorite.

ALL the feels
Jamie is the last of the partners at
Calvin, Windham & Rayne to find his perfect match -- soaking in the bathtub of his penthouse apartment.
I liked the fact that Margot was not a pushover willing to do anything for the security his money could bring. She prioritized her brother's education and future. I thought Jamie was so gentle and patient with Margot, meeting her on her terms, and giving her time to get to know him.
It is definitely a steamy story for adults, but there is an underlying sweetness to the character interactions. It was also nice to see how the relationships of Declan and Sam had progressed. I forsee a happy and very busy future for everyone associated with the law offices of Calvin, Windham & Rayne.

This book killed me. God I need a whole Jamie cause damn. He is the absolute book boyfriend. Margot the heroine as well is an absolute baddie. I don’t know which one I want to be more cause wow this couple’s chemistry was just mesmerizing. This book is an absolute great read which will bring the heat and romance for those who like them quick. There’s also the cameo of previous couples from previous books of the author which I found was a great touch as you got to experience them as well.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. (I know this is late, I got COVID and was really sick for over 3 weeks).
Ok this short little book is so sweet and I honestly loved this so freaking much.
I actually enjoy insta-love books. Sometimes they can be done poorly but not this one.
Genni Bee has done it again! With His Ring was a romantic, caring, billionaire romance that had the right amount of spice and everything else nice. And we got a little snippet of past characters in this short book series.

This book appeared to be confused about itself.
What happened to Margot and Jackson's parents? How could she afford his apartment building only working at a bar? Was Jamie a man whore or a nerd who appears to stay home all the time?
There were just so many unanswered questions.
The idea was cute, and I know fast-paced (but it is a novella).
I didn't like the ending. Why does everything have to end with a pregnancy straight after marriage? Just let them be she has been a mum her whole life to her brother let her travel, etc.

I think this one was my favourite. I really liked Jamie. He somehow felt less old and the age gap didn’t feel as big. For it being a novella, it flowed quite well and wasn’t too rushed. I liked that Margot had a brother who she was looking after (he isn’t that young) and how Jamie just takes it into stride. The brother is important to Margot therefore he is important to Jamie. They kind of become a family.

This book is VERY fast passed, im talking they just met a second time and he’s barely touching her that she’s whining for more type of fast.
Their fights were stupid and seemed out of nowhere just to create drama.
But if we consider that its a short smut book then you just go with it and eventually you don’t mind the flow. It was okay overall, the secy times were few but good (even tho i cringed at some of the dirty talk).
Thats all i can say.

It's a very short and steamy billionaire romance. Half of it is very romantic and the other half is filled with hot loving scenes. I liked the characters, especially Jamie, he was so down-to-earth and caring.
My favorite scene was towards the end between him and her brother.

This book was short and an easy read but it wasn’t one of my favorites. It was rushed and there were quite a few gaps in the storyline that made it kind of difficult to read.
It kind of felt like something a novice writer would write and publish to a site like watt pad. I am not saying that it is a bad book, just a little poorly written in my opinion.

Short, Steamy and Sweet!
This was my first book by this author, and I was pleasantly surprised.
Loved the characters, wish we could have had more. A little back story and some details of major events would have been nice. But overall it was a great short read.

I freaking loved this book! Margot and Jamie were iconic and honestly one of my favorite Genni Bee couples! This is a landlord, forced proximity romance, and you’ll be hooked from the very beginning.
Also the ending was adorable!

Just like the first one, my only complaint is I wish there was more! The tropes, the writing, and the spice were all fantastic! Absolutely loved this little read, and can't wait to read the rest of them!

Good read but a lot of errors
I’ve read the first two books in the Chicago Steam series and really enjoyed them. Some minor typos here and there but nothing too egregious. This one had complete sentences mixed up, where it didn’t quite follow the plot. Still a good story, but didn’t make sense in some parts. Hence the 3 stars.
