Devilish King:
Fabulous as always. Devilish King is the most recent instalment in Kylie's Merge universe; this time we follow Holly (Reilly's sister) as she moves to New York to start a new life. Starting in a new country with no family or friends nearby, a daunting choice soon turns out to be an exhilarating adventure. Holly is only in New York for a few hours before she stumbles across the path of Theo, the heir to the Valentino Mafia throne. The first in a series of three, this is bound to get your blood heating up.
As always with Kylie Kent, the writing style is extremely easy to read. The chapters switch POV between Holly and Theo, and while the story is easy to pick up and put down, you won't want to. the suspense builds steadily amid scenes of everyday life, peppered with a murder here and there. The steam that we have come to love Kylie for is very much front and centre and, this time, there's a little (or huge) cliff-hanger to look forward to.
Would recommend.
Unassuming Queen:
Unassuming Queen is book two in the Valentino Empire trilogy and follows on straight away from the end of book one (Devilish King - if you haven't yet, go read that because it's brilliant!). We were left with a cliffhanger and so the start of this book is full of emotion and suspense. We meet back with Holly who is suffering from the aftereffects of Devilish King while Neo tried his best to look after her... and boy, my heart broke. Now thoroughly mixed up in the Mafia world, will Holly be able to cope?
I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. I have loved all of Kylie's books and they just keep on getting better and better. Really fantastic writing with great character development and plot growth. Unassuming Queen has plenty of Kylie's signature steam dotted throughout the story and another heart stopping ending. I don't want to give too much away as to the plot but it's just *chef's kiss*
We also get to meet a couple of the characters we grew to love from the Merge universe too which was a welcome bonus!
Another of Kylie's books I whole heartedly recommend and I wait with anticipation for the final instalment, United Reign.
United Reign:
The final instalment in the Valentino trilogy, United Reign picks up just after the events of Unassuming Queen. Theo and Holly travel back to New York and soon realise that they have a war on their hands. With The Clover on his tail, Theo must do all he can to protect his family while Holly must come to terms with the dangers of this life.
I adore this series! I know I say that every time Kylie releases a book, but she just excels at this genre of writing. The chapters change POV between Theo and Holly, we also even get a cheeky Reilly (from The Merge series) chapter this time too which was a treat. I love the short chapters and the easy writing style - it’s easy to fly through this book in no time. Lots of suspense built and sprinkled throughout with Kylie’s signature steam.

As someone who have been reading Romance novels for over 40 years and read about a book a day, sometimes its hard to find books that I can get lost in. When I find a new author whose books has everything I love in Romance Novels, I am like a kid in a candy store. I haven't read a new book in about 2 weeks, just re-reading some of my favorite Authors books. Then I saw the blurb for Devilish King, since its a new author to me, I thought give it a try, nothing to lose. I was completely blown away, this series was exciting from the first page to the last. I wouldn't change a thing about it, the over the top Alphas, Badass Heroines and underlying humor, not to mention some super hot scenes that just fit right into the all encompassing love shared by the main two characters. I love the fact that this author has a lot of books which will keep me occupy for at least a couple of weeks. I blew through these 3 in two days. If you are a fan of Alexi Ferreira, Nikita Slater, Eva Winners, Suzanne Steele, Clare Connelly, Adelaide Forrest or Lylah James, then you are going to love her books. Or if you simply want to read a WELL WRITTEN book (I don't think there was a single spelling or grammar error), that is fast paced and exciting from the first page to the last, then this is the book for you.

Where the hell do i Start
This trilogy is my absolute Favourite read by far this whole year i have been completely utterly engrossed, invested in these books and characters for 2 days
I have read most of kylies books now and they are all fantastic but this trilogy trumps all
I totally Love me a Mafia read and this is a Proper fantastic mafia read
Bring in brutal princess canny bloody wait for angelica and Neo's book!!!

I wanted to read Holly's and Theo's story I'm glad I did this was awesome it was good how the author intertwined the characters from the different books now onto book 4 😀😃😀😃😀😃

This book set I couldn't put down I read them originally when they were individually released so had to wait for the next book and was screaming at how kylie left it on a cliffhanger. The series sucked me in from start to finish with its twist and turns I was so entranced I didn't want to stop reading it.

Good old mafia romance can never do you wrong. I love the instant love connection between Theo and Holly. my only complaint is I have a hard time dealing with a overly independent FMC when it comes to her safety where she questions his every move when it's all about keeping her alive.
