It's Christmas time at the treehouse. The branches are decorated and the stockings are hung. Andy and Terry have a new book due but when Santa and his reindeers accidentally crash into the tree, they must put the book writing on hold to help Santa get all the presents delivered before Christmas Day. Featuring a crowd of Santa clones and an evil melted snowman puddle. This series just keeps getting better and better!

Hoera!!

Dodali do niego studnię życzeń, obóz trepingowy, biuro rzeczy znalezionych, biuro zgubionych serdelków, piętro superśmierdółek. Jest też piętro bicia rekordów i zadziwiający wmyślachczytający kanapkomat, który dokładnie wie jaką kanapkę teraz chcecie zjeść. Fajnie nie?! Aż chce się wejść do takie domku i go pozwiedzać.
Muszą napisać list do Świętego Mikołaja.

Lektura wciąga, bawi i zabiera czytelnika w świat fantazji.

I love Andy and Terry. I absolutely loved all the holidays they celebrate. If only the world could be more like Andy and Terry haha. Life would never be boring. And we would all appreciate the little silly things. This has classic Christmas magic with a little bit of Christmas Carol themes. With Mr Big Nose as Scrooge of course. I love their found family coming together.

SPOILERS and book notes:
I absolutely love all the holidays they celebrate: (first I am happy they included Christmas and Easter bc they are the best holidays) cow over the moon day, popping popcorn with the lid off day, gingerbread day(the made gingerbread men of themselves and ran ran as fast as they could but could never catch them lol) big bad wolf day (a wolf blows their treehouse down every year). They decorated their tree house by putting a light bulb on every single leaf. It’s like Christmas vacation! They accidentally build a horribly rude angry snowman that mailed himself to them from Antarctica. They get electric ponies that fly from Santa.

As usual, Andy and Terry entertain with their wild adventures. The 156 Storey Treehouse is bigger and better than ever, and now it's time to celebrate Christmas! But how can they get everything done in time when Mr Big Nose has just called to tell them the deadline of their new book has just been moved up to tomorrow, Christmas Day? And just when things can't get any worse, Santa crash lands in the treehouse.
The story is outrageous, but my favourite part is the illustrations which have so many fun little details and really add so much to the story.
Thank you Pan Macmillan for this review copy, my kids and I loved it!

281 pgs. I was so glad the next installment in this hilarious series made it to my library. I loved every bit of this silly book. This time Terry and Andrew build exciting layers onto the existing treehouse including a bouldering alley (similar to a bowling alley but with large boulders), a wishing well, an aquarium wonderland, an old boot camp, an enigma engine, a world-record-breaking level, and more. The funniest thing kids will love is locating the "lost sausage" on almost every page. I love how the two boys continue battling and competing AND working together at times, all of which create a lovely adventure right there in a treehouse. Wow! Keep up the good work! Highly recommended for hours of laughter for Grades 3-5.

1. This book is about two kids named Andy and Terry who write books for a publishing company. Santa crashes into their treehouse and chaos ensues.
2. My favourite part of the story is when Mr Big Nose finally comes to his senses and realises that Santa is real.
3. I like Jill. She's a pretty average character (like most of them) but she has potential.
4. I learned that we should be rejoicing in the time of Christmas and no-one should be Ebenezer Scrooge.
5. 3 stars. Average read, with average characters, an average plot and some funny moments.

I had somehow missed this one, so I went back and read it. I didn't enjoy it as much as some of the others. I think I am done with this series. I actually felt brain cells dying as I read this installment. The humor isn't as funny as it once was. Of course, i am not the intended audience, so for it to be fun as long as it has is pretty good.

Treehouse #12
The series has a Christmas special - I don't really like Christmas books, because they generally have nothing to do with the real Christmas, and this is no different - in fact it is worse, taking carols and changing the words to take out the true meaning.
Some humour to be had, but the whole Christmas thing was a miss.

I have been reading this series for a while now and every time I love it. It is an easy to read, action packed, comedy book. This book is mainly aimed for children but is good for teenagers and young adults too! Overall good book! :)

Been following this series since I was in grade three, it’s still great for the age bracket but it’s not something that appeals to me as much anymore. Saying that I still always love to read them as it’s a short and silly read.

I loved reading this book because I think the story treehouse books are good for kids since they are all funny, and I also liked it because it included the aquatic axolotls which are rarely ever mentioned in anything, so it's nice that they are being included for a change!

Yo. I loved this book. The Santa and Christmas theme was really really really really really really really really cool. And especially since Christmas is my favourite time of the year. Overall 5 stars.

OK, so we've gone from the sublime to the ridiculous but I admit, I love the addition of the aquarium wonderland. And unseasonally sensational Christmas references. Go Santa. Fans will love it.
