Is there ever a reason to break a vow?
For Brandon, the answer is no. The commitments you make you keep no matter what your feelings may be. Brandon is a hard-working, simple, man on the surface but everyone has secrets. He is carrying the biggest one. The woman he married is not the woman who holds his heart. A situation that should have shattered him only brings him closer to the conclusion he already knows. Only one woman will do and it's her and only her.
Sharia has lost herself in a one-sided marriage. At least she thinks she's married whenever her husband decides to make an appearance in his own home. Tired of fighting by herself she runs to the arms of the one that has always been there for her. That man happens to be married to her best friend.
Messy situations create messy outcomes because when the vow breaks so does hell's fury.

Please note this is a Novella with a 90s theme. The story is complete but it does serve as a prequel as well. These characters will appear in coming books.

This book had me so heated! Tiffany, Terrence, Brandon and Sharia had a lot going on to be married folks. I always know with this author to expect the unexpected and she did not let me down!! I almost threw my phone around 80% because I just could not believe what I was reading. And I’m still trying to figure out where Terrence is at.. wow!

Ma’am…… Listen! I just can’t with these characters, okay? 😊 First of all, how did these couples even get together, when it was soooooo obvious that they should not be! Terrance was a ho, and walked all over Sharia with no remorse! Girl, how and why did you allow this blatant disrespect? There is not enough love in the world to deal with that mess! Tiffany, was just wildin’ out just because she woke up today! She had such an air of entitlement, and felt like she was the damn Queen of the world! The way she treated Brandon hurt me across the pages! Brandon and Sharia have had chemistry for years, why did they not get together, instead of marrying these other fools? I know it is taboo, but I was rooting for Brandon and Sharia to get together! I know, I know but they truly loved each other, and deserved to be happy after enduring horrible marriages! Karma is a bih, and it served Tiffany a HUGE dose! I couldn’t do anything, but just shake my damn head! Where the hell is Terrance in all this? NOW, that ending???? Huh??? It’s about to be some ish for real, for real! Poor Skye is caught up in some serious drama, that will possibly scar her for life! How is Brandon going to deal with all of this? Whew…….. Cannot wait for the next read! 👍👍👍

This story was short, but had so much depth! Relationships are hard, but you partner will only do what you allow. sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side! Sharia and Brandon were made for each other! Tiffany had some issues and Terrence was just a straight dog who didn't respect his wife or relationship and neither did Tiffany, except she couldn't wait to be away from her husband. I;m looking forward to the next stoery as I know there will be more to Brandon and Sharia!

What Vows?

Where did those crazy couples come from? Terrence needed to have cookies fall out of his little man for his trifling behavior towards his wife. And how did Sharia allow his nonchalant acts to fly? Tiffany was a straight up garden tool. With all that said, the ratchet in this romance had me cheering for Brandon to get his girl, the one he was destined to have by his side..... And for the two Ts to get their karma dosage. I am ready for Skye and what's next. Whew!

Now this was a dang good read! I love how the book started with a bang and never let up throughout the entire read! At first I thought I had the story figured out but baby I was wrong!! That plot twist got me and I loved it!! I’m gonna go head and read the sequel next!!

The couples in this story did not read the room when they decided to get together. Prequel sets the tone of the series and it was a lot going on.

This story was ok, but there were a few inconsistencies in the beginning. Tiffany was off the chain and I have to say she got what she got for a reason. Karma is truly real. I think Terrence and Tiffany would have made a better match for each other since they both were doing the same thing to their spouses. I happy that Brandon & Sharia can have their HEA.
