I was really sad to see the end of this series, but it was an awesome ending! I loved all of the characters, but Margaret was my favorite. The whole series has a solid place on my reread list.
First I throughly enjoyed this book. The book was out of the norm of what I usually read like, mob, aliens, sci-fi, paranormal romances. The simplicity of the story was like a peek into someones everyday life of ups and downs. The love, acceptance, and support of each other was heartwarming. I was glued till the last page. My only complaint would be the pronoun references the authors used for Jaime, I was confused as to why. Not only that but in book 3 I could have swore that the person who answered Imani's door was a female who was her lover. Then the person kept being referred to as they, them, and their. Oh and i also thought with her 2nd pregnancy she was having twins, but I guess that was wrong. But anywho I recommend this book. Its simply with a small amount of drama, everyday struggles of loss, parenthood, relationships, inlaws, life alturing decisions, blended families and friends. You won't be disappointed.
I waited impatiently for the conclusion of the series, I hate to turn it loose. Thank you both for an awesome ending to a story that drew me in and kept me reading and smiling. Again, thank you 😊 Keep them coming.
I truly enjoyed this series! I loved Cherish and Simon their chemistry was smoking 🔥. This book was the icing on the cake 🎂 it made a perfect end to the series. Cherish truly got her happily ever after. Susan was a true heartless person that was a touch crazy. I got my daughter hooked on this series she is on book 2 right now, because we don't read the same genre so it is awesome when I can get her to read my kind of books. I highly recommend this series you will absolutely love ❤️ it! Great work ladies!
For me, this was a great ending to a very good series.
Simon and Cherish grew so much through these four books. With the overcoming grief and finding one’s voice, it just shows so much character development.
This book in particular is hardly any angst, and just very lighthearted. I’m glad we got to see them process the pregnancy and Simon’s feelings on the pregnancy.
Cherish on the other hand, understanding his feelings, and even if they inconvenienced her, her compromise on how her husband was filling showed so much maturity.
I am glad to have read and finish the series completely. And I am happy to see that the end was slightly realistic and the feelings of a new beginning.
Even though I was sobbing by the end, I loved every single moment of this series and this finale. I will miss all the characters, especially Margaret and Imani (they are a hoot!), but Cherish will remain in my heart. She stayed true to herself while still looking out for and after her new, expanded family. I love the tie ins to other novels by the authors. Superb ending in my opinion!
I've been following this story forever, and it almost feels like this family is a part of my family. So, this final chapter is bittersweet.
That being said, this was a bit of a letdown. As, literally, nothing happens. Like this whole 300 plus pages could have been nicely condensed into a 70 page novela.
I found myself skimming quite a bit. Especially once I realized that no drama was coming. Knowing this wasn't a dramatic story to begin with. More of a romantic tale of a family coming together. But book two had some dramatic elements, and I expected SOMETHING for the almost 8 month wait!
Great Story and Characters but the lack of an editor made the series a difficult read
I love Cherish and Simon, their story and the trajectory, but this series along with many other wonderful books in this genre need an editor. The typographical errors, the inverted and missing words, and the incorrect word choices cause the books to be a bit too long and too often frustrating to read. There can also be a great deal of redundancy which needlessly adds to the length and spells too much out as though the reader can’t follow the context. I know that we are in the days of self publishing but that doesn’t mean that someone with a keen eye can’t review, edit and suggest changes before the book is released. Just as the people who build cars aren’t the testers nor should the writers be their own editors. I hope this is helpful.
I love how Simon and Cherish grew up together, meaning that before they was so young to have so much lost but grew from it and raised two kids together and made a family that work for them both. Simon parents help out alot with the kids and giving life advice. Jasmine and Simon jr.had me laughing alot they was so cute in the story. Simon got his own business and Cherish is about to finish college and own her own business. This family was a joy to read about. I look forward to other books from this author. I hope everyone read all the books before this book so you can enjoy this ending. As always happy reading😉.
I waited for a bit before reading the final installment in this series. As usual the authors gave us an uplifting story with humor and heart. Cherish and Simon have weathered many trials in their short time together….enough to fill several lifetimes. However, their incandescent love always shines through. Simon is getting his professional life back on track while supporting Cherish through her pregnancy. Will he be able to overcome his fear of loss and be strong for Cherish and his family? Great ending to this beautiful series.
I love this book series. I pre-ordered this book a year ago. I re-read book 1- to this one. The evolution of Simon & Cherish’s relationship & there families is so awe inspiring. I’m sad to see their story conclude. The authors did a great job of weaving their story together through each book. Todd was a surprise visit. That was a great gift of closure. This book series will be on my read every year list.
Cherish & Simon's story was a delight to read. Their story was a need of support that both of them gave to one another. The extended families' love and understanding for their circumstances just made this series all the better. I don't want to spoil the plot for any future readers. Just know, their love was so organic and true. I will remember their story...
This was by far the best epilogue I’ve read. Loved the whole story, it was a heartwarming tear jerker, romantic, and definitely funny. I would love to have a story about the adventures of Jazz and Junior. They kept me laughing. I enjoyed this thoroughly and will read their work again.
One minute she's having twins, but when the sex is known, it's just a single baby. Also with Jamie, Imani's lover/boyfriend, in this book and the last book, when Jamie is mentioned, it's in a plural tense, "they know their lover", "they smile at their lover" etc.
I'm also not sure why they had to have Todd come back, it was pointless.
I felt this book wasn't as good as the others
But I am glad they lived happily ever after with the new baby.
