Geoffrey rides his bike from Roanoke to Charleston to visit his one-time mentor and good friend Savion Gage at Riverrun, Gage's plantation on the South Carolina coast. When Ellen joins him a week later, travelling by car, things are already getting complicated.
The girl that Geoff kidnapped a dozen years before is getting married in a few days, he has unexpected personal history to discover, and people are losing their heads in a city where history slumbers fitfully but cannot sleep.

My first encounter with this author and his book, but it won’t certainly be my last. I’m a massive fan of what are seemingly paranormal books but are in fact, well seasoned and well planned mystery novels. This is just one such novel. The author also does an excellent job of describing Charleston and taking the reader into the setting.
Overall, I highly enjoyed this book, and would certainly recommend it!
True confession - I am a huge mystery fan. This was the first of Bud Crawford's Ellen and Geoffrey Fletcher mysteries that I've encountered, but it won't be the last. I was able to visit Charleston for this first time this past summer and it enhanced my enjoyment of the book, as I could picture the novel's settings.
I would like to Thank GoodReads & the author, Bud Crawford, for a free Kindle edition of this amazing book!
I must say, this is an excellent read… I Loved Everything About ‘Ghost Walk!’ I will definitely be on the hunt for more books written by the ever-so-talented Mr. Crawford… Call Me A Fan!!
DNF @ 2% I received a copy of this ebook in a Goodreads giveaway. I don't know who this story was going to fill 500 pages, the answer is probably that every minute action was going to be detailed. Way too slow for me.
