I’ve never been kissed, but I’ve got a husband. A work husband. Noah is sweet, handsome, devastatingly sexy…and just a friend. When I agree to attend his cousin’s wedding and pretend to be his girlfriend, I have a feeling it’s going to be a total disaster. But the chance to play happy couple with Noah is just too tempting.
Before I know it, I’m trapped with his eccentric family on a gorgeous but remote island with no internet, no phones, and no electricity. This workaholic will have to go a whole weekend without working. What a nightmare! But the worst part is I think I’m falling in love with my fake boyfriend. And Noah’s family has concocted a crazy scheme that might just get us together for real...and forever.

Thank you to the author for this ARC ✨ This was a sweet little short novella! It reminded me quite a bit of the movie The Proposal. I admittedly did think that the whole wedding thing was a little unrealistic and uncanny, and the fact that the girl main character was a workaholic but was only mentioned/shown like twice.. yet it’s the title of the book ?🤔🤷🏼♀️ and I would’ve liked to have a more complete ending, but it was still a short but sweet story so I really can’t complain much.
This was such a cute romance! These two are work spouses but they both have a secret crush on each other. Then Noah asked Abigail to be his fake girlfriend after he told his family he had one and literally described her. (which was just the cutest thing!!!) She agrees to it and they meet his family, who are crazy, and who marry Abigail and Noah off. They wake up the next morning admitting how much they love each other.
Abigail and Noah were such a cute couple! I loved when they had their first kiss which was Abigail first ever kiss! It was so cute!!!
Content: kisses, fade to black, and 1 explicit word.

Abigail is a junior lawyer, and like most lawyers, her working hour can be very long. Noah Larson is a paralegal, and the two of them became good friends. When she sees him distressed, it turns out that he told his family he had a girlfriend and described Abigail. It was to keep them from hassling him about having a significant other. But now they expect to see him bring her to his cousin Marie’s wedding. So to help her friend and co-worker, Abigail agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend.
Noah is a sweetheart, so this is not too bad a situation. And Abigail intends to get some work done. She didn’t know they would end up on a remote island -- no internet, no phones, no electricity! With the hectic work pace slowed down, and seeing Noah in a different environment than the workplace, Abigail has some feelings stirring! And if she is not careful, his family’s plans for them will make a big change in both their lives! Or perhaps it is already too late?
This was a cute story. Grab your copy and see all the trouble they can get into!
Abigail is a junior attorney and Noah is her paralegal. They are great friends and hit it off from day one. Noah needs a huge favour from Abigail. He needs her to play his girlfriend at a family wedding at his grandfather’s hunting lodge. Abigail agrees to play his girlfriend. I loved the part where they had to learn about each other’s lives. Abigail treated it like preparing for a case so she is a true workaholic. Noah’s family is crazy. Abigail was falling for Noah but she thought he only thought of her as a friend. Do they get their HEA? You need to read this book to find out. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Abigail and Noah work as paralegals in an important law firm. This is a highly demanding job, and they cemented their relationship during lunch breaks, they became friends as much as colleagues.
One day, Noah invites Abigail to a family wedding and to pretend to be his girlfriend. Of course their true feelings emerge during the weekend.
This book is very short, easily read in an hour, but is very cute and funny, especially because of the lunatic Larson Family. I would like to read more about them.

Abigail is junior lawyer, who works long hours, never had a boyfriend. Noah is one of the paralegals is Noah, who is oh so sexy, but just a friend. When he comes to her one day looking pale, he says he needs to talk to her outside of work. Noah has been evading his family about a significant other, but with the constant badgering he makes up a girlfriend, who is Abigail.
He confesses everything to her and she agrees to attend the wedding with him as his girlfriend. What could possibly go wrong, it will be an adventure.

This was a hot mess of confusing chaos. I get having an eccentric, out of control family but this was... I'm not even sure how to describe it. Noah owed Abigail a hell of an explanation BEFORE she agreed to that ridiculousness. And Abigail had no type of backbone to be a lawyer.
I didn't like this... at all. I don't think I've ever given a book 1 star but damn.

They have an agreement, at work, that allows them to get a bit of peace and quite, while they eat their lunches. Abigail likens it to Noah been her work husband, but Noah needs Abigail's help, for his cousin's wedding (for he needs a fake girlfriend). I enjoyed this cute quick read, both Noah and Abigail were easy to like, and their story was very entertaining.
