As if surviving high school isn't hard enough, Tara has to try to survive it while hiding from not only a succubus queen but a rouge pack of werewolves. Why? You might ask, because her parent's fell in love and had her. Half shifter, half succubus Tara has been on the run for as long as she could remember. She's been able to hide in other packs and with the humans. But now her succubus side has finally decided to come out and play. Before today she could survive on any emotional energy she could find, but now her body needs something more. Something that the three shifters she met on her first day of school desperately want to give her.
Heads up that this book includes a relationship between a high school student (17, almost 18) and her teacher as well as a few other 20-somethings. Normally that would make me drop a book immediately, but it felt like the MC barely went to school after awhile, so I think we only saw her and the teacher in that setting in maybe 2 scenes, and it all just became something else to skim over after awhile.
Now that the content warning is done, let me start by saying that I would probably be reading book 2 by now if it were out. Since it's not, idk if I'll still be willing to come back to this series in a few months.
Why did I give a book in a series I'm at least partially willing to continue 2 stars? Because the editing was distractingly atrocious, and I was skimming to protect my sanity by the end of ch. 1. I couldn't in good conscience make the rating anything higher. The author apparently had something against hyphens, and so many issues could have been fixed with a nice and easy Find & Replace All.
Every word that should have been "barely" was "barley." Every word that should have been "chick" was "chic." Every word that should have been "definitely" was "defiantly." I think there was another word that was consistently used/spelled incorrectly, but I can't think of it right now. I also saw multiple instances of character names spelled inconsistently.
Here's some examples of some of the issues I was constantly trying to just read over (intended word included in brackets). "I make it through calculus with my dignity in tact [intact], barley [barely]." "they are siblings or atlas [at least] related."
The actual plot was just ok, and the majority of the book was devoted to smut, but the main character is a succubus with at least 5 mates, so it is what it is.
So much potential but bad. Lots of typos and missing words. I read the reviews after I got it and the one girl was right, the end is horrible. This book sounded so great but just fell flat. Not my cup of tea.
This book is super Spicey but what I loved about it is that it also has a good story to it. The characters captivate you and Tara is a bad a**. Love it and can’t wait for the next book in the series. ❤️
Love the equal amount of heat and story. And the dirty talk! *sigh* Tyson is definitely my favorite with his daddy sim attitude but I also have a sweet spot for Tristan.
I ate this book up, so clearly the storyline is pretty good! No spoilers, but a lot of smut. A lot. Definitely reverse harem. Ends on a cliffy. Reads like fanfic, which I’m not mad about. Written in 1st person, but has awkward 4th wall breaks.
I want to give it more stars, and less, if you can believe that. As stated above, the plot is good, the smut is plentiful, and I’m invested. But I spent the whole time reading mentally correcting repetitive and sloppy errors. Mistakes that would have been caught with better (or possibly any) editing.
No shame to the author, because I’m clearly waiting impatiently for the next book. But I hope your editor is better this go round. And if you don’t have one, I volunteer as tribute!
I like spice just as much as any of the next girl but this books has soooo much potential to be a fantastic storyline but every other page is s*x! We need a POV of her dad or even Jake from before of him loosing his mind during the year without her. We need more slow burn of her figuring out how to be a succubus queen. What does that even mean for her? And we just going to throw the grandmother in there when we haven’t heard anything until very end? No we need B-A-C-K-G-R-O-U-N-D! We need to know why her mother really left! This book kept me continuously turning the page but It could be SO much more!
I needed more substance then just sex and teenage anguish. I honestly felt myself skimming the sex scenes, it was so fast and just felt hollow. At 50% of the read, i wished for the pages to have more of a storyline. But we just got a bunch of young kids, who don't talk anything out, have sex, and a fmc who jumps to her own conclusions right off the bat whenever she doesn't understand/misunderstood, or she feels some how slighted. I won't lie, but her character was exhausting. There are also a lot of childish teenage mean girl moments that just topped on to this already exhausting book. And half way through, I couldn't finish.
I actually really enjoyed this book. My only critique is that there were a few typos which was slightly annoying, but not the end of the world. This book was full of twists and turns and I was not expecting Jake to end up as a "good guy". I would recommend this book for people who like omegaverse type books and paranormal books. But I would warn that there is partner sharing between 6 brothers, so if you don't like that... You won't like this. I am excited to see where the second book takes us and I hope that Tara's father is able to get out of the New Mexico pack.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ I enjoyed the plot, and will definitely be continuing the series when it’s completed.
- I don’t read stories looking for grammar errors, so I didn’t notice any. There was a two person scene where one of the brothers names was completely different (I believe it was Tristan instead of Trent?), and I had to go back a couple pages to make sure I wasn’t mistaken on the characters (which is easy to do since all the mates have “T” names). This was the only thing that really disappointed me while reading, but overall the story line kept me hooked and there was TONS of spice.

This book caught my attention from the pretty cover and the fact that it’s about a succubus. I really love the succubus trope!
This was so intriguing with a hybrid wolf succubus. And the poor girl has so many challenges to push through and everything continues to be thrown at her. But she’s strong and she’s slowly learning how to truly live.
This book has a great story line but there are grammatical errors and spelling issues. Example: through the whole book definitely is spelled defiantly. Other words are like this and then general misspelling. If you can get over it like I did then it’s a great story!
Up until about the last few chapters my biggest complaint was the typos and it would have been a 3 star book. Then it became a rapist redemption sorry and making excuses for why he raped her.
There was quite a few spelling errors but overall a great story line and plot. Thoroughly enjoyed reading all the twists and turns of the MC finding their way through their life
I thought this story was good there was a lot packed into the first book. However this book could use some SERIOUS editing. I do look forward to reading the second one.
If you like spicy werewolf romance, you will love this. My only complaint is that it has some typos but that is to be expected with a self published book like this. Super good! I need the second book like right now.
this book needs an editor stat. The names of all the guys are mixed up frequently. The MC is a little immature and doesn't grow out of that. For what it is (a smut fantasy) it's pretty good. There is plot but not an intriguing one.
Whyyyyyy didn’t I read that it was not a standalone!!! I can’t wait 2 months to read part 2 😓😭😤😠 I have to know what happens. I have no patience. These sex scenes are FIRE 🔥 Please don’t make me wait!
I found this author on the time page, and I am so happy that I did! This book has the best steamy scenes in it that reading it in public made me blush. I loved it, and can not wait to read more.
🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Reverse Harem ✅ Student/teacher ✅ Badass FMC ✅ Fun side character ✅
Suspenseful read, the banter between bri and Tara was top Teir. Tara a hybrid, on the run from a pack and a succubus queen out to unalive her.
I’m a sucker for a reverse harem, and the guys all read separately and personalities aren’t the same. The poly relationship isn’t a big deal, so sets the scene for plenty of spice. Which is a 5/5 in this book!
The storyline is so interesting and different, The world building giving me just enough to not feel like I’m lost, but not giving away too much away.
A few grammatical mistakes, and the guys names get mixed up by the author once or twice. But, very talented and I cannot wait to see what happens with Tara and the guys in book two.

I am a reader who is willing to give a new author a little grace as they are getting started in this profession because I understand that editors/proofreaders are a very expensive investment that someone may not have the ability to afford when just starting out. So after falling in love with these characters and being hooked on the story almost instantly, I hated to think this author wouldn't get the recognition she deserved because of the editing issues. I decided to reach out to her on social media and offered my time for free to help her make corrections to the most noticeable errors. She almost immediately responded to my message. I have so much respect for this author, who put her faith in a complete stranger, and was grateful for the offer. She truly wanted to give readers the best book possible. I am in no way a professional editor, but do have some background in editing, so I am glad I reached out to her. I know I probably didn't catch all the errors, but some of the biggest issues have definitely been corrected in the updated version and I hope those changes will be enough to help this amazing book get more love from readers.
As for the story itself, well I was immediately captivated by this story and these characters. I only recently rediscovered my love of paranormal romance books after taking a 10 year break from them. If you are looking for slow burn, well this is definitely NOT the book for you. If you are looking for a HEA, well I'm hoping we get that in book 2. If you are looking for a story/plot that is fast paced, then this is not the book for you. Book 1 is focused on Tara finding and connecting with all of her mates (who happen to be wolf shifters, most of them are brothers). There are some cheating elements in a few parts of the story, but are honestly not truly cheating when you pause reality and look at it in the paranormal bonding sense.
I am not usually a fan of books where there are more spicy scenes than actual story progression (I need an actual story with spice mixed in, not the opposite of spice with a little story); however, I think this is one of those rare occasions where these scenes were needed to help build and strengthen each of her relationships with her mates. But since this book was more focused on these relationships and not so much about the bigger plotline, I'm hoping that book 2 will be more actual action/plot focused and a little less spicy scene focused in order to make it feel like a well balanced story between the 2 books.
I am so excited to see how their story wraps up in book 2.
Beyond the lack of editing (honestly it felt like this book was written by someone whos first language is not English) we have a main character who is kidnapped and r*ped by a "mate" and seemingly begins to forgive/ understand him. I put the book down at this point. Beyond that, the forced sexual encounters because of her pheromones were just cringy and borderline assault.
