But why the Persona?
As a Christian Author, I became aware - early on - that I had a 'propensity towards pride' (try saying that three times fast). :)

So in order to remain true to my commitment to the Lord, and His will, I decided that it might be better if I didn't plaster my picture, or my name, all across social media (and honestly, I don't take good pictures, anyway).

There are images of us everywhere in our world today and I simply wanted to portray less of 'me' and more of 'Him.'

So now you know. I'm not 'hiding' ... I'm just 'abiding.' And I hope you see that commitment reflected in my work.

This is an enjoyable end of the world short story! I did like it generally; good idea & nice characters, a little out of my experience as it is classed as christian literature, so be warned if this is not your thing! I found it interesting & will try to find the next in this series!

I’m not generally much into futuristic novels, but this one caught my attention because it’s a Christian faith based storyline. Interesting plot and characters. This is a prequel, but I’m going to move on to the first one in the series. 👍🏻

Dawning Lights is the prequel to the Revival Team series and I did not want to put it down for any reason! The main characters are believable, relatable and well on their way to becoming my friends. The storyline is set a few years into the future but, it is terrifying in that it could very easily become truth if we don’t protect our rights and our children. I totally enjoyed the few Bible verses that are quoted and I sincerely hope you will read this story and be inspired and touched by it.

This is the first book I’ve read from this Author Deakon Reeves and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a prequel to The Revival Team so it is fast forward to Amazon.

Powerful start to the Revival Team series, shows how they were led to meet. It was a God thing and contains amazing scripture. If you want to feel that same supernatural, life altering power that only comes from knowing Jesus Christ, reach out to Him and read the gospel of John on Biblegateway.com. I am surprised by such a low number of readers. I can't wait to read and share. The times described in the book are exactly what we are now living in, and it was prophesied in the world's continuously best selling book of all time, thousands of years ago.

This was an interesting prequel book. It’s the first futuristic, dystopian book that I have read. I like the Christian aspect to it. Seeing the United States in a shambles is hard to read. I think we’re too close to that actually happening. I am going to read the next book “Clerics of the Light”. Give this one a try.
