Years after losing both of her parents in a tragic car accident, Sarah Dorsey has finally found a new family with her group of friends. She knows where she belongs, and that's all that matters.
That is, until a hookup from her past comes back and shakes everything up. Now she needs to decide. When you find two homes, which one do you choose?
Erica Lee finished writing her first book, Dear Santa: I’m Gay, in December 2016. Erica currently lives in Pennsylvania with her wife, dog, chinchilla, and bunny. She spends her days working as an optometrist and her nights snuggled up on the couch with her furry family, binging on netflix or youtube.

Book 6 of a fantastic series. This time it's about Sarah and Elle. Both women only want casual sex. No dating, no commitments, no expectations for the future. But what if invisible boundaries are crossed? What happens when it all turn into the ultimate dilemma? Visions Of Home is a fast paced short story with humor, heart, a lot of spice and great supporting characters. Highly recommended!
I’m such a sucker for goodbyes, like “don’t do it, please, you are gonna make me cry” that type, yep.
So, this story follows: Sarah Dorsey. Sarah had a tragic loss when she was sixteen, since then she has loved but measured the risks but how do you deal with that when you find someone from your past that changed the way you see one aspect of your entire life? Eloisa Panepinto, Elle, has a limited time, summer, to have fun before she returns home, the place she misses the most.. but life always gets complicated and when these worlds encounter, explosions happen.
I was skeptical at the beginning, I was not fond of the story but as soon as the goodbyes or the thoughts of saying goodbye came in I was done.
One of the most special things about this series is the interaction of The Six Pack. Even though they (group of friends) have been vital in their individual support system and growth, they also have been key in the development of the relationships with their partners, in this novelette you feel all the feelings, it was real, touching, deep.. Just name it.
This is just the type of story that I don’t connect very well with. The characters are very superficial (on the surface) we get hints of their layers but w Edina really see them and that makes it hard for me to fully enjoy it. I must admit Sarah’s story was the one I wasn’t waiting for anyway, so that might have skewed my opinion as well.
Sarah finally gets her story. She’s the one who always shows up for every Six Pack Brunch and counts her friends as her family. Now we get the back story of the good who loves to hood up but is never in a relationship. She is a social worker in the foster care system and has a huge heart for the right person. Enter bathroom girl, hook-up she has compared everyone to for the last three years. She finally meets her again at an eye appointment. Just graduating as an eye doctor the two meet up and find they really like each other. Elle is great. The only problem is Elle will be returning to the west coast where she will join her parents practice.
This was a fun entry to a delightful ongoing series. That is the best way to describe this novella: fun! The protagonists were cute together, the chemistry was immediate and satisfying, and this was just a nice feel-good read. It was very straightforward, almost to the point that I was going to rate it lower, but it worked so well that I had to go with 5-stars. The fact that I was waiting for the reappearance of “bathroom girl” since the series started certainly helped. Oh, and its also very spicy.
This ongoing series, by now, has a solid foundation of character growth and established relationship dynamics. At this point its easy to coast off of what’s already built and simply deliver satisfying plot points and I will eat it up.
Six Books In and It’s Just Gets Better and Better!
From “Santa I’m Gay” to this set of stories just shows you how Erica Lee has grown. This concept “The Six Pack” series keeps getting better and more interesting and involved. Sarah, our just love ‘‘em and move on character get reacquainted with her bathroom sex girl at the eye doctor. Elle is the girl that got away. When she reappears in Sarah’s life no one is prepared for Sarah to fall. But she does. With Elle and her having a time limit on their relationship, things start to become too real for them both. Another good one with “The Six Pack Friends” to the rescue.
Might be my favourite of the six pack series yet. I've loved Hannah's and CeCe's storyline but always waited for the Sarah's-hookup-in-the-bathroom reveal. This was so much more than I ever expected and I loved everything about it. Honestly the dialogue at the eye doctor was one of the funniest I've ever read and Elle is such a great character. Very cute romance and happy ending, will read this (and the whole series) again and again!
Well, Sarah and Elle might be my favorite couple so far! I mean, Sarah had me cracking up from the start. And then who should she run into again but Elle. ELLE! Bathroom Girl! Yup, yup, their interaction in the doctor’s office, just hysterical. And hey! One of the six pack finally got somebody’s number! OK, lol, maybe it doesn’t count because it was the second time they met — no joy on the first try back in the day.
Well, if you can’t tell, I pretty much laughed my way through this book, and I absolutely loved Sarah and Elle. Their banter is amazing; Elle can totally hold her own. As is confirmed at a brunch later! I will say, I’m glad the pizza didn’t end up upside-down on the floor, and as far as mash-up monster meals go: respect. But I’ll pass on the hangover cure!
Anyway, it was a lovely story, and so so clear that Sarah was just a goner, all the time she kept telling herself it was temporary, just a hookup, blah blah blah. Because everybody takes five tries to dress up to meet their hookup’s family, right? Right? And of course, the eventual goodbye was heartbreaking; thank goodness the rest of the six pack was there to handle the fallout.
Especially Kiera. Because I might have mentioned it before, but Kiera is the bomb. That is all. (The scene with the twins though? That was OK too. 😂)
Two similarly-minded people had a sexy fun moment in a club three years ago and meet again randomly, finding that the sexy spark is still there, and decide to be friends-who-fuck because of their incredible chemistry, but knowing that there would be a time limit until one would move back across the country now that she was finished with school. They spend three months just having fun and not taking anything too seriously, but in the last month they both realize that there was maybe more than friendship?
Lots of great laughable moments, especially when they first bump into each other again and there is a miscommunication.
What a fast-paced story this was about "sex with a different partner every time" Sarah and a former hookup Elle who both just want casual sex, no relationship, but when you fall, you just fall! Sarah just didn't know what hit her!!! I love all the supporting characters in this Six Pack series who are forever lifetime friends. This group is especially important to Sarah as they have truly become her family. Erica Lee's writing just makes you want more - like more weddings and more babies! 😊
As the Six Pack series continues, we meet Elle, who was Sarah’s “incredible bathroom sex” of three years ago. Sarah and Elle start out as two people enjoying benefits to friends with benefits to interim girlfriend. Both Sarah and Elle have no idea what do with the other since neither does “relationships.” Watching their feelings grow was a treat.
Sarah Dorsey had been comparing every hookup to the woman she meet on New Years Eve. Then she runs into Elle again at the eye doctor’s office. They end up agreeing to be friends with benefits. Can two anti relationship women really be just friends..Great series.
