Can one fallen angel unite four floating continents and save the Goddess who made her?

SYNOPSIS

Left to deal with the fallout from the battle of Sapphire City Kairi is suffering from serious anxiety. Then, when the Fae call on Kairi and Lucien for their aid, despite their reluctance to get involved in the recent conflict between the Draconians and Artemisian Equinians, they must navigate centuries-old feuds to bring Aetheria to a place where it can fulfil the destiny of its original purpose.

To protect the Higher Plains.

Meanwhile, Aro and Genevieve have kindled an incendiary alliance over their recent triumph, and Aro is tired of playing by Hera’s rules. When Genevieve makes an incredible discovery, the tyrannical Sephilim decides he’s finally had enough.

Can Kairi save the Goddess who made her immortal? Or is the lust for vengeance brewing between Aro and Genevieve certain to throw both Aetheria and The Higher Plains into the finality of utter destruction?

Hi, I’m Kristy Nicolle, a 27-year-old British writer achieving freedom from the pain of my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome diagnosis by bringing fantasy worlds to life for my readers. I currently enjoy spending time in my fuzzy PJs with my kitty arch nemesis, Moo, and love all things mermaids, unicorns, and glitter! My books centre around high detail, high action fantasy worlds, full of badass female characters who love to get steamy.

In Book 3 of The Aetherial Embrace trilogy, the different kindred races are finally brought together by Kairi's dream of a better world. Her vow to make a united Aetheria is becoming a mantra in which people can set aside their differences to fight for. We see the kindred races teaching one another how to fight and ultimately the why of them believing in Kairi and willing to change their view after so many millenia of status quo.

The action is ramped up in this book as the plot thickens further, and we see the "good guys" devise new cunning ways to stop the "bad guys" from destroying Aetheria. Using light manipulating battle gear and psychological warfare by dream walking to plant doubt in your opponents mind is absolutely brilliant!

Genevieve's character was developed much further in this book, and we get to see more of the internal battles she's quietly fighting. Her banter with Aro as she tangles herself between love and hate for the despisable high lord is well timed, especially the quips about archaic gender roles. She remains the essence of a baddie throughout this story and an impactful side character.

You definitely want to prepare yourself for the last 10% of this book because an immense amount of detail and events occur very quickly!

Thank you to the author for the review opportunity, in prep for Book 10!

Okay, so I’ve been totally hooked on this trilogy ever since I first started reading it, and now that I’m done with it, I know that I’m going to have a serious book hangover!

This book was very action-packed and plot heavy, and there was also a huge focus on character development and political intrigue. All of this meant I was very invested in this story.

Another thing I loved about this trilogy is the multiple POVs. It was really interesting to be able to get into the different characters’ heads and see how their minds worked.

Kristy Nicolle was a new-to-me author, but I’m really glad I decided to give her books a chance! Her writing style is both vivid and memorable, and I definitely recommend.

This one is going to make you hungover 😵

As usual Kristy Nicolle has done it again. I’ve spent some time trying to figure out exactly what I want to say and I think I have it nailed down so bare with me.

For a typical Kristy Nicolle book you get all the feelings as if you are the one feeling it all but this was more. So much emotion. So much action. I actually had to take a moment before continuing reading. There is one moment where, dear readers, you will catch your breath and if you are like me, you will cry tears of sympathy and rage. But it’s worth every second you spend in Aetheria.

It’s almost as of Kristy has left us a little bit of her soul in these pages because there’s no other way to describe what I felt reading this. I will admit as a reader I enjoy being caught of guard by the unexpected and this did not disappoint.

We can also all agree Aro sounds ridiculously sexy, evil as hell but sexy nonetheless. I am not afraid to admit I loved reading his intense emotions and the actual unraveling that make Aro well Aro.

The growth of these beloved characters has me in awe. As a reader I always love the vital moment of strength that the main character suddenly finds and Kairi did not disappoint.

I would love to go on, in detail why this book now holds a special place in my heart but I will let you, dear reader find out for yourself.

Kristy thank you for bringing yet again magical, beautiful world to life. I will now forever want to ride a dragon over Drakos Vales, feel the heat in Sapphire City, see the beauty that is Nirvana, smell the meadow that’s just outside the City of the Sephilim and possibly to see that Cobalt sun set over Aetheria.

I received a free eARC of this book, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

In Lavender Storm, we see Kairi continue on her ascension to Queen of Aetheria. After a vicious war against Lord Aro Black and his comrades, Kairi must fight to protect the Lower Plains and sacrifice what is necessary to avoid a tipping of the Kindred Scales.

As per usual, I loved this book! Kristy has become an auto-read author for me now! I loved seeing Kairi become who she is destined to be and enjoyed seeing more characters on a deeper level. I love that we got more of an insight into Genevieve’s mind and she is always full of surprises. As the once mortal enemy leaders have to survive in very close proximity, we see huge plot twists and turns that I never would have expected. The final battle was an epic dance to either save the Lower Plains, or ascend to the Higher Plains and carry out assassinations.

At 549 pages, this took me just over 10 hours to read. There are several scenes of an adult nature, including a non-consensual act, as well as several battle scenes. Highly recommend it to any fantasy, romance and mythology lover.

No one can bring a group of people together like Kairi and Lucien, and it's what they must do in order to keep Aro from inflicting the chaos he has in store on an unwitting world. He's power-hungry and feels as though the gods owe him. His misogynistic attitude and support from the vengeful Genevieve might just get him there.

Secrets on both sides make saving the higher plains from certain destruction a lot harder than it needs to be. And for all the obvious situations, there are more brewing beneath the surface.

I can't even imagine how this author could end this trilogy in the series better. I love Kairi's strength and Lucien's devotion to her. I don't know how the author keeps the different threads of the story straight, but she is a magician when it comes to a tangled tale. Which is one of the things that make writing a review without giving anything away so difficult. It was brilliant. I can hardly wait to see how she is going to bring all of the trilogies together.

In the final book of the Aetherial Embrace trilogy, we see the culmination of prior events finally taking place. Kairi and Lucien are called by the Fae to bring Aetheria to its destiny of protecting the higher plains. Aro and Genevieve have formed an alliance, and when she makes a unbelievable discovery, he decides he's through with Hera and her rules.

This book was such a rollercoaster of a read. The plot, the characters and the dramatics were all spot on, making this one helluva read. This high fantasy story brings in every element you need to have the perfect fantasy story, between unique beings, a thrilling story and characters that make the story believable. You can't go wrong with this book.

The series is now finished and I am so sad to see it end! But I loved the ending and getting to see the characters grow.

This trilogy has been as exciting and enchanting as the previous trilogy’s and this last book had me in its grips as we rejoined Kairi and Lucien and their thrilling conclusion. An incredible fantasy read where our characters have been through so much and really grown into themselves and Kairi continues her journey to ascension to Queen of Aetheria. It’s emotional, it’s action filled, theres drama, theres battle, theres twists and turns and at times had me in floods of tears! It’s been one hell of a ride and I have enjoyed every minute of it!

This book was amazing! The entire trilogy was just such a fantastic read. Kristy really blows me away with her writing. I'm so glad to have found her and her books! I don't want to give too much away because everyone really needs to read these books themselves! Seriously, if you want to be swept away from reality for awhile give it a go! I can't gush enough on how much I loved the entire series! Thanks for all the hard work you do Kristy!!

Fantastic End or is it?

This last book of the trilogy did not disappoint. It has thrilling events, a little love story, and emotional moments. Kairi the main character has really grown up in this book. She managed to put her personal emotions aside to accomplish her purpose. Kristy is a very good author. She brings out all emotions with her stories. I love the world she creates. I can't wait to read more of her books.

What a wild ride! Kristy's writing is so descriptive you can't help but be pulled into Aetheria. Aro isn't worth the air he breathes. I adore Lucien. So much happens in this book leading up to the epic finale of the final book. I've really enjoyed the entire series. I highly recommend it!

Slowly making my way through these great books! This is the second book in the Aetherial Embrace Trilogy. This saga is made up of 3 trilogies that can be ready in any order and then culminates in a 10th book that brings them all together.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really am enjoying this series. Unfortunately screen time prevents me from reading ebooks as much as I would like. Kairi and Lucian must decide between love and the lives of their people. This has a great twist in the final chapters.

The final book in this trilogy was an emotional ride! SO much happens in this book, but I loved the way the story came together, and how it ended.

It's really hard to know who to like with this series! Like obviously there's the good guys (Kairi, Lucien etc) but having chapters from Genevieve, and how she behaved, left me conflicted with my opinion of her.

This was a great rollercoaster of a read - one I thoroughly enjoyed!

After 3 months, I have finally finished the entire 9 book saga. It was quite the ride.

Lavender Storm, the final novel of the final trilogy ties up the Aethereal Embrace portion very nicely. The scene is now set for the upcoming 10th and final tie-in novel, and I can’t wait!

This installment sees the Sephilim, Nephilim, Draconians, Equinians, and Fae face off in a huge battle to save Aetheria from Aro and Genevieve. Kairi is crowned Queen of Aetheria and unites all of the races together. My assumption about Algoric was 100% nail on the head. The epilogue sees Pandora and Hercules tending to a downed Aro- and now we wait… how will all 3 trilogies tie in together? I can’t wait to see Kairi, Sephy, and Callie working together.

Of all 3 trilogies, this was my favorite.
