Rise and become the monster that they fear me to be, or fall and let my enemies destroy me?
I’m a trapped wolf, alone in a place where the people mock me and stare. A freak.
I never imagined I would miss the confounds of Hunter’s home, or his jealous, and overprotective nature.
But here I am, starving, stripped bare, and dreaming only of the alpha that I should have called mine.
I need to get out, no matter what it takes, and I will bring out that side of me that they fear. I’m not that lost girl anymore. I am risen.

This is another great addition to this incredible series. Once again I found myself lost into this world as we find Janie has been kidnapped & Hunter left for dead. Action packed and full of danger, I really fell for Janie as she finds herself staved and striped bare for all to see. Can Hunter get to her in time?? It’s gripping and had me on the edge of my seat and now i patiently await the next book!
This is book four of the Wolf Hunted series and whilst Janie (Juno) thought she could finally relax a bit after her father’s scouts were killed, she went out with Darby, Hunter’s sister for a night out. She tried dancing and kissing another wolf shifter, but he easily realised that she was still in love with another. When she left alone that night, another clan’s wolves were waiting for her and had already taken down Hunter, an alpha, who had been trying to keep a bit of an eye on her. They injected her with a poison, as they had Hunter, so neither could call on their inner wolves to help them. The Unda water wolves have taken Janie and take her back to their alpha, as they were ordered to. He has her all alone and tied to a post near the middle of the clan’s village, without food or water, making her even weaker. The alpha wants to know why her father wants her back and what is so special about her. This Unda alpha has his own plans for her and if her bloodwork shows what he expects, then he will use her for breeding and keep her a captive for the rest of her natural life. She will be used and abused and not just put to death like her former alpha would have her. All she can do is dream of Hunter, the alpha she has realised she wants and is actually in love with. His pack have always been kind to her and treated her as one of theirs. She needs to gather her strength, which is difficult without food or water, and hope her wolf can come out eventually. She needs to wait for Hunter to hopefully find her and rescue her from this situation, if her wolf can’t make it in time. One thing she knows, is that she needs to get out from this situation no matter what. It seems there might be some sympathy for her situation in this Unda pack, but none will go against their cruel alpha! When help does come, she will be ready and the pack had better watch out for her special abilities coming out. This conflict will turn out badly for some and Janie will soon find another symbol on her body, after her wolf is forced to defend itself and those she loves. She is prophesied to be the one to unite all the packs and I look forward to reading the next book and seeing what becomes of her. I received an ARC copy of this book form BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
Janie has been kidnapped by the water wolves and Hunter, left for dead. Drugged-up, she wakes up from an erotic dream about Hunter to realize that it was just a dream and that she is at the mercy of ruthless kidnappers on a mission from their twisted Alpha. Hunter wakes up in the parking lot, filled with something that has left him unable to move his limbs. He had realized that Janie is his true Mate and that, he must deliver her from her captors. Who has not heard the story of the 80 years old lady who, when seeing her grand son trapped under a car, found the strength to lift the vehicle and free the young man? That is a true story. The author masterfully takes the reader through the eyewitness account of the main character discovering powers that she ignored having, her True Mate, a new home, and the meaning of love, family, and belonging. The plot follows, the direction set by the previous books in the series, and makes this book a page turner worth more than the maximum allotted 5 Stars rating. I am looking forward to reading the next installment in the series.
Book four in this series and just as wonderfully written as the last. As with all of Abigail's books, I couldn't let this go until the very end. Caught and tied to a pole, in a place where people mock and stare at me. I never thought I'd miss Hunter's jealous and overprotective nature. Starved, no water, stripped naked and an Alpha who wants to use me as his Mate for his offspring. Dreaming of Hunter, the alpha I could have called mine. Will he find her and will they admit their love to each other??? Read it for yourself and enjoy it as I do. Make up your own mind about it.
I got this ARC for free and voluntarily write a review.
Book 4 in this fantastic series. Will things get better ,will she get her beloved ,read on to find out.
This is the fourth book in the series and we see the characters finally admit their feeling and do everything they can to help each other. The adventure and suspense builds up so it definitely makes us want to read the last book.
I really like that the author with few chapters can keep the reader's interest. I personally love short stories that are full of adventure, suspense and of course dangerous loves, and this story is one of them!
Looking for really good YA books? I highly recommend the Wolf Hunted series. Abigail Grant does a great job in pulling you in and feeling for the characters.
Wolf Risen is the fourth book in the series. Follow Janie and Hunter as their relationship evolves and Janie discovers she is no ordinary wolf shifter.
I love successful rescues lol but I love it more when Janie figures out she truly isn’t alone anymore and she has a real family. I’m seeing growth in all the characters- Janie, hunter, Darby and Jax. I love when that happens. Plus- I can’t wait to see what happens when the big bad shows up and has to eat his toes lol.
Awww. I got goosebumps at the end of the book. It’s about time Janie and Hunter admitted their feelings about each other. I’m glad that Hunter killed the alpha. What a creep! Now to give Janie’s father his just deserts…

Great story. I am devouring them quickly- really short stories. Again my only complaint comes at the end. I think the “L” word came too quickly, but I guess it is a YA novel so I shouldn’t be to harsh.
Another must read Wow!!!! kick a..s Aries pack rescuing her from another pack. what a sick alpha taking her just breed other alpha. good that hunter came for her and saved her what a great way to show mated bond not for mess with it Abigail grant didn't disappoint again love this series.

Well finally, Hunter and Janie are admitting their feelings for each other, I just hope they get the happy ending they deserve. I love the fast paced action of Abigail's books and would strongly recommend you read the whole set.
