When life gives you shit–a lot in a short amount of time–people tend to handle it differently. For April, running and being pissed at the world is the way to go. That's the only thing she can do to cope.
Visiting her dad, who never wanted her, was something she never planned on doing, but when she has something to give him, something important, she decides to do it anyway. Just leave it, and then get the hell out of there.
What she didn't know before she went there was that he is the President of an MC. A fucking biker gang. The thing April hates more than life itself are bikers.
Will the VP of the club, Kane, be the only one who can handle her when she comes in like a thunderstorm, pissed as hell? Will he be the one to get her walls down and make her realize that life can be okay again?
Wow I really loved this book. Poor April not knowing the truth. I do wish Shannon would have given her some so she wasn't so angry at Blade but I do understand cause Shannon was hurt too. She couldn't forgive Blade for what he did all those years prior. I'm happy when Kane was as stern to April when he needed to be and it was April to break Doan his walls. So funny Knuckles scared of April, I laughed a few times at that. All in all I enjoyed this read. I do recommend reading in order to fully understand
I could totally see the pain from beginning to end. I also love that the author spoke to the reader a few times "its a book use your imagination." April is in pain and Kane is her perfect outlet. I wish it was a Little longer and it had like a year or 2 time jump and Kane and April announce they finally get pregnant. Then have Knuckles reaction.
Good story, caution - lots of spelling and grammar errors
Loved the story, but be prepared for a lot of spelling errors and missing words. The characters are fun, especially knuckles. I look forward to reading knuckles story next.
I really love this book. The flow of this book was captivating and entertaining. There are a lot of true feelings on how we, as individuals, handle grief. It's truly relatable.
