Hi there! I’m Maneetpaul Singh, but I almost always go by Maneet (pronounced muh-neet). I’m a YouTuber, author, and digital creator who’s passionate about helping people fall in love with reading—one e-reader at a time.
Since 2020, I’ve been sharing my love for book tech on YouTube, focusing on Kindles, e-readers, and the tools that make reading easier and more enjoyable. With over 30,000 subscribers, I’ve built a community of book lovers who are just as excited about the future of reading as I am.
When I’m not creating videos, I’m diving into nonfiction with my monthly book club, where we explore big ideas and practical lessons. I also send out a weekly newsletter to share insights and keep the conversation going.
These days, I call Connecticut home, where I’m always on the hunt for the perfect slice of pizza.
Maneetpaul’s debut is a breezy, yet information dense shot of wisdom. Not only giving you the literal how’s and to’s to better make use of your new e-reader, but the accompanying attitude and headspace to leverage those tools. Most directly applicable to non-fiction and self-improvement works, nonetheless even a fiction escapist reader like myself still left with some ideas on how I can retain more of the themes and notes from the books I read.
The knowledge is surface level for anyone who has spent time with e-reader and Kindles before, and like anything else while Maneet can lead you to the water, it will be up to us to drink.
Since finding Maneetpaul’s channel on YouTube he has seemed to be on a genuine mission to help people read more, and importantly to read better, and this book is a perfect little encapsulation of his knowledge.
For anyone who owns a new Kindle, or like me has recently unearthed one that was gathering dust for years, this quick read will get you pumped up and ready to dive back into the endless sea of books.
Disclosure: I was provided an advanced review copy by the author for an honest review.
This is a short overview on leveling up a reading practice with digital tools, and also an intro to some of the learning offerings Maneetpaul has. It’s pitched at those who may not have read much in the past, but also has some good thoughts for those of us who are already habitual readers.
Maneetpaul’s writing is friendly and warm, and helps the reader understand what has worked for them, and remains non-prescriptive.
Great motivational, clearly written book. A lot of new ideas and reminders about reading. Inspired me to improve my reading by exposing me to new resources. It made me thinking beyond this book on how to improve my reading.
I read Supercharge Your Reading: How To Use a Kindle To Read More Books and Remember What You Read on my Kindle Scribe. Adding handwritten notes significantly changes how I read non-fiction books. I feel like I'm investing time in learning rather than just reading.
I accept the introduction's challenge: We're going to level up your reading habit by using a Kindle, so you can read more books and learn more from what you read.
I recommend this book to those readers searching for guidance as they transition from paper to Kindle or want to improve their comprehension and retention skills.
Although a short book, Maneetpaul Singh has a focused, engaging style of writing that will cause you to read this in one or two sessions and be satisfied at the end.
I have used a Kindle or the Kindle app on my phone for several years but have strictly used it to read and highlight books purchased from Amazon. If this describes you, then Singh’s book will open your eyes to the Kindle ecosystem, including Goodreads and the power of Readwise.
Thank you, Maneetpaul. You have enriched my thinking for the cost of a cappuccino at my local shop.
If you're considering the pros and cons of buying an e-reader or are someone like me who enjoys all medias of reading, Maneetpaul's book is a great short read to learn or enhance what can be accomplished with a kindle to better enhance our experience. I for one know there are many overlooked features I forget can aid in a better reading experience Maneetpaul gives closer attention to. Well worth the money if you're considering a kindle or are actively on a kindle having dived in not knowing all it can offer outside of techincial specs.
I wish this book came with my first Kindle years ago. Great to have it today for inspiration around the innovation that is the Kindle. Maneetpaul has written an essential onboarding guide for Kindle readers both new and experienced. As well as useful tips with connections to Goodreads, Readwise, and more. Read this within a weekend with enough time remains to, yes, read more books!
This book includes many cool tips which I didn't know about, since I've been using a kindle my reading has improved, but this tips are going to improve my reading much more, I learned about reading as a mindful activity and reading to learn skills for life. I learned about different ways of reading as listening and reading more than books. Also about automating the process of saving your quotes and notes. A short book but with many things to learn.
Extremely helpful companion to my new Kindle PW. Really helped me unlock the power of my device, techniques (like Readwise integration) for memory reinforcement, and even unexpected mind shifts like giving yourself permission to abandon/return a book if it doesn't resonate with you. (I'd always forced myself to slog ahead, even if I discovered I disliked the book.) I'm looking forward to more titles from this gifted author.
Superb book! A relatively quick read, packed with insight, wisdom and lots of practical tips. Maneetpaul's love for reading (and his appreciation for the Kindle) really shines through. If you have a love for reading and want to discover a few more ways to get the most out of your reading time and the Kindle, and build some solid bookworm habits along the way, you'll find much value in this book.
I had been thinking of buying a Kindle when I came across one of the author’s YouTube videos. That was the tipping point that compelled me to make the purchase. Since he mentioned this book in that video I decided it was as good a place as any to start. I am glad I purchased the Kindle and picked this ebook to read on it. If you are like me and new to Kindle’s world, I can think of no better guide than Supercharge Your Reading. He gives solid advice without getting into the weeds.
The book had plenty of ways to Supercharge your reading. I learned a few things that I am already using from the book. And I am researching the use of Readwise and other tools he mentioned which escapes me now. As Maneetpaul, says use the suggestions that work for you. I also bought the audio companion to this book so that when I could not read I could still continue with the book. I recommend this book and its audio version. Thanks for writing it Maneetpaul!
I loved reading this book, I wasn't surprised because I love the authors YouTube channel too. The book was helpful and gave me some tips on using my kindles differently. It was an easy read and would recommend it to someone thinking on buying a kindle or owns one and doesn't use it very much. Congratulations on a great book, I look forward to the next one.
I've been reading on a Kindle for 10 years. This book was very helpful in reminding of the features I had forgot or not taking advantage of using. I recommend this book to Kindlers (I think I made a word) who are new to the Kindle experience as well as frequent/long-time users like myself. Tips by the author are logically explained and will help Kindle users enrich their user experience.
Anyone who loves Kindle will also love this book. You can take it like a manual for your kindle but in a more engaging way. Maneetpaul will dive you straight how to fully utilize your kindle but once in a while he will pull you back reason you bought the Kindle. Not to show off your kindle... Hehehe. But to become a better reader 😊
If you are looking to level up your use of Goodreads, Kindle Highlights, Kindle Notes, or integrate your notes and highlights with a 3rd party application like Readwise or Notion - check this book out! It is short but most importantly - clearly written, with little fluff. Maneetpaul is my new favorite Kindle platform guru!
While the author's writing is good, there are many topics and features the author failed to share and describe reading on the Kindle. I learned only one thing I didn't previously know, and that is that kindle books can be returned before seven days after purchase.
Nice quick read, I’ve pick up a few tips that I may have never known. I was expecting a kindle so I decided I would be prepare but actually this works with the Kindle app on your smart devices which I was not expecting. Great work!
I thought it was a very good book for me to read. I’m fairly new using a kindle and everything helps. It’s a short book and easy to understand. I recommend it.
Awesome read with very helpful information. I learned a lot about hire the kindle could be helpful when reading non fiction books. I have tended to see the kindle as for reading fiction primarily!
This book is short, easy to read with useful tips for enjoying digital book reading, and for increasing memory retention by actively using ebook accessories.
