A no-strings hookup with a sexy stranger in a bar. Every guy's fantasy, right? Or, it was...

Two months into my sophomore year at Lakeview U and my only real worry is getting my lazy ass to class on time. Knocking someone up five minutes after we met was not part of the college experience I had in mind. But thanks to a pair of sad amber eyes and a shoddy piece of latex, I just became another statistic.

With two words, Nova Daniels throws a big-ass wrench in my carefree student existence. With one follow-up sentence, she offers me an out I'd be an idiot to refuse. In theory, it's a no brainer: don't walk goddammit... run.

But the reality of abandoning my unborn kid is far from the cake walk I expected. And staying away from the woman carrying it? Damn near impossible.

Planned or not, I'm going to be a dad.

The only question now is... can I figure out how?

*Unplanned is book four in a series of angsty, emotional interconnected stories. Each book can be read as a standalone, but for better enjoyment and understanding, it's advisable to read them in order.

Danielle Hill is a contemporary romance author from the north of England. She lives with her husband, who’s learned to live with the fact her head is full of other (fictitious) men, and two gorgeous kids, whom she mostly remembers to feed and water, in between writing stories.

When she’s not writing, you’ll find her curled up with a book, watching a riveting box set and talking all the way through it (to her husband’s delight), or eating cookie dough cheesecake while promising to hit the gym tomorrow… not once has anyone found her in a gym. Don’t bother looking there.

She enjoys reading and writing about strong guys and girls who overcome all the odds to find their happy ending.

So a 19-year-old boy and a 20-year-old girl had a 10 minutes hook up in the men's bathroom at a local bar and it resulted in a surprise pregnancy.

One thing that I really like, something that I don't think a lot of romance novels show, is how broke (as in penniless guys) these two kids were and now they were given an unexpected life changing 'accident' that honestly would scare a lot of us if we were at that age. Their reactions were realistic and it made me think that these two kids could be real people, each with their own insecurities and doubts. So yeah, that's a win for me.

Reason why it didn't get a higher rating from me? There were a few instances where important scenes were just summarised and not played out. Also, I'm picky af. But this book does has its charm.

What should have been a one time hookup with a hot stranger in a bar bathroom leads to more than Nova Daniels or Danny Greene bargained for when two pink lines upend both of their lives.

When Nova gives Danny an out, he takes it, but keeping away from the mother of his unborn child is harder than he thinks—especially when he needs her help. The more time he spends getting to know Nova and watching her belly grow, the harder it is for him to walk away.

I’ve been waiting for this book for weeks and I was not at all disappointed! I loved Nova and Danny’s story so much. Both characters are wonderful, but our girl Nova is something else! She hasn’t had the easiest life, so much trauma and heartache, but her character is legit so badass. The moment she knows she’s pregnant she’s willing to do anything to keep her baby and have the family she never had.

Meanwhile Danny’s fuckboy/goofball character had a lot of growing up to do compared to her, and his growth throughout the book was amazing. From scared shitless about getting a girl pregnant and bailing, to his worrying about being a good dad, and finally to him being an amazing father and supportive partner to Nova… *chefs kiss*

Unplanned was just so freaking cute! I loved it so much 😍

What a beautiful and captivating journey. 😍

Can we stop, pause. THE ENDING I have never experienced my heart racing as much as it friggin did in this moment.

The heart shattering moments and fear i felt. Damn i felt every damn emotion Danny was feeling in this moment.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧, 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬 𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞’𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐰, 𝐰𝐞’𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞.

Their love and journey is beautiful, raw and yet laced with such undeniable chemistry and love it will absolutely leave you in swoonworthy terroritory!

Nova has had her fair share of heartbreak and trauma and love & trust does not come easy for her but damn those closing chapters my heart is sooo full from their connection and interactions.

Danny well he is a swoonworthy guy who absolutely stole my friggin heart from the beginning and even in his torn decisions he managed to keep me loving his ass. Though for me, when he reached his turning point damn he became 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄!!

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐝, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬

This is one of my favourite reads for sure this year. The love, the dynamic, the story line and LOVE is just perfection.

Amazing 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unplanned was another great addition to the series. Danielle has done it agin . I literally could not put it down. From the first page I was drawn into the story and I was completely captivated by it.
Could Dani be any sweeter? I loved his character. And I also loved Nova with her strength throughout the story as she tried to protect herself from the heartbreak. Her life changed in an instant after one night stand and she knew as soon as she found out that she’s expecting that she will love and protect this child anyway she can.

And Dani quickly changed his playboy days to settling down even that he was scared of that future. Unplanned things happen when you at least expect them and with this beautiful story there was no better way of two people getting together with no regrets and the love they shared.

This was absolutely beautiful love story and I would highly recommend it to everyone ❤️❤️❤️

Unplanned is the fourth book in Danielle's incredible 'Unstoppable' series and with each book, she just gets better and better.

Nova and Danny hook up within minutes of meeting eachother as Nova tries to deal with all of her personal issues and boom, their lives are changed forever. Nova is one strong as hell female, the amount this character goes through is insane and I just instantly wanted to protect her. Danny is great, I enjoyed his character and seeing his character growth throughout this. As always, Danielle has given us another great book boyfriend.

I can't sing Danielle's praises enough, her books should definitely be on your tbr.

This is the 4th book in The Unstoppable series and the first book that I e read by this author. Although this can be read as a standalone, I will be going back and reading the other 3. I was not expecting to be catapulted until this book but I finished it so fast. Truly didn’t want it to end. The characters were so relatable.

Nova has a hard time trusting men due to past relationships. But she wasn’t expecting to get pregnant from a one night stand with a hot guy she just met. Danny was never expecting to see Nova again after that night. But when she shows up to tell him she’s pregnant, will he run at the opportunity she gives him?

This book was absolutely amazing. The character growth these two go through will leave you in awe. Danny takes a step back from his player days and steps up to be a father even though he’s scared and doesn’t know how to be a dad. The chemistry is unmatched. Full of love, hope, chemistry, heartache and so much more. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

I received this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

One night can change your lives. Nova has suffered so much in her life and still stays strong. Danny is a playboy with so much growing up to do. They meet, hookup, and that was supposed to be it. Then the two pink lines appear- she is pregnant. Nova finds Danny to let him know and gives him the opportunity to walk away. Two scared kids that have so many decisions ahead of them. Nova is going to keep her baby but what will Danny do? This story was so well written and not to be missed. My first book by Danielle that I have read but I will be going back and read the rest of her 'The Unstoppable' series.

This book was great. We get Nova, a strong woman dealing with the trauma of her past but still striving toward happiness with her surrogate aunt Maura and best friend Gaby. One fateful night brings her and Danny together for an intimate moment of anguish and lust...then bam! She finds out she's preggo. From there we get to see how nova deals with things and how Danny does. I feel like it shows A different side of unplanned events such as these in peoples lives. It wasnt an Insta relationship , it was something that built up which was just amazing to witness all of it unfold. This book was packed with emotion, heartache, humor, real life situations, sexual tension, with just a dash of steam scenes. If this is what your looking for than this is for you!

I hated the fact that he could be indecisive and backtrack as much as possible, and she couldn't. I know parenthood is a big deal and especially for two people who didn't plan it and are so young. she was a mother the second she found out she was pregnant but he could change his mind next week if he wanted to. Another thing I hate about pregnancy trope books is if you have to start questioning if the only reason they got together was because of the forced proximity the baby caused them to have. Did they have actual feelings for each other, or was it just "yk what, I'm stuck with her for the rest of my life might as well love her" typa thing. idk, maybe it's just me.

Would have liked to see more of Danny's change and growing up in action instead of reading a paragraph about a job hunt after the fact and calling it good. But it did well showing his changing maturity and emotions though as time went on. I believed he truly loved them by the end and wanted that life, but we still weren't shown what lengths he went through to be about to support them. He became available to her calls after messing up when it mattered, but did he stop drinking? Stop popping pills? Stop partying? Those things felt unresolved.

Why authors have to put covers like THIS on their books is something I will never understand. But with that said this book was sweet.
