Emma Taylor’s encounter with Dr. Jackson Bryant has changed her life completely. She’s ended her thirty-two-year marriage and dove headfirst into the chance at true love with this much younger man. Jack fills her every desire and promises to protect her and her heart. He vows to never hurt her or neglect her.
Divorce is never pretty, but Emma and Jack battle through their estranged spouses’ demands for counseling and reconciliation. They fight for the love they’ve found with each other. Nothing will keep them apart. Until a secret is revealed that creates distrust.
Is Emma’s choice to be with Jack, one that will lead to the happily ever after she so desires? Or will the secret lead to the ultimate heartbreak and betrayal she fears with her entire heart and soul?
The Choice is book 2 of the Love, Emma series. It’s filled with love, desire, secrets, lies of omission, and the will of two lovers to be together.
This book picks up from where book 1 finishes and let me tell you, this is one heck of a rollercoaster ride. Emma and Jack are H.O.T.!!!! This author does not make it easy for these characters and because of this, I started to like Matt. I don’t like Matt, but dang it, I started to and am left feeling bad for the man. Just like the first book, I couldn’t put this one down and am holding my breath for book 3. Bring it on!!!!
The Choice is the second book in the Love, Emma Series. The first book is not something I typically read. After giving it a chance, though, I fell heels over head in love with Jack. I was honestly more than happy that Emma chose the flirty doctor.
This book picks up where the other left off. Jack and Emma have some issues going on that they need to work out, both with each other and with their marriages.
I’ll be honest. Going into this book I was rooting for Jack and Emma. And I mean that. Rooting hard. By the end of it, I’m still rooting for their HEA, but Matt sort of stole my heart with this one. I really feel for him, and I truly want him to get his own HEA. Will it be with Emma? I hope not, but there’s still another book.
With this author at the wheel? I expect a few bumps and bruises and probably a crash into a telephone pole before we know what exactly is going to happen, but I’m absolutely on board for it.
Coming from me who had read the first book, I thought Matt deserved this but after reading The Choice, I felt bad for him. And Jenna. I would say love can be as simple as it seems, but it can also be the most complicated thing in the world.
The pace of the story at the beginning was slow where everything seemed fine, and if it wasn't great, it was still bearable for Jack and Emma. The story only got fast-paced and more intriguing on the last 10 chapters where the twist, I'd say, happened. I just knew something was wrong at *that* moment. I had decided that I hated the characters for cheating (I formerly had love-hate feelings towards them), but was also rooting for their happiness at the same time. Complicated, I know.
"How you get your man is how you'll lose him." This saying really had me keep turning the pages throughout my reading. Read to find out what happened to Emma and Jack.
in the second book of this series you will witness love between Jack and Emma!!! Emma is still married to Matt and Jack to Jenna. They want to get a divorce, but things don't go as they hoped. It's not made easy for them Emma has to lie to Matt herself why she doesn't want a relationship anymore she can't be honest with him and just say she has someone else because then she could be risking Jack's career. Jack also has to make sacrifices where even Emma starts to doubt him. Could their young love survive all this? If you read this book, it has so many surprises, just incredibly good. definitely recommended and waiting for sequel!!
I loved this book so much. This is book two in the series, and we pick up right where we left off in The Encounter. We are learning more about the relationships, along with their divorces. Emma and Matt are still married, but so are Jack and Jenna. Emma starts lying to Matt about why she doesn't want to be with him anymore. And Jack. That man starts making even Emma doubt him. This book was so incredibly amazing. This is one series you won't want to miss.
Apologies to my family for not getting anything done once I opened this book until I finished! Sorry - but not really sorry because this continuation of Emma & Jack's story is wonderful! They are totally committed to each other and know that things won't be easy with their ex's and divorces in the works, but are trying to make the best of things while going through some stressful times. The ex's certainly aren't making it easy! Plenty of sexy, steamy, loving times and some nice twists and turns along the way, so it's not all smooth sailing for these two, but they are determined to make it through it together! Can't wait to see what is in store for them in book 3!
Choices have consequences, is Emma prepared for hers? The choice focuses on the road to divorce and the obstacles that await for them. KC Savage delivers a steamy book read.
A wonderful second book to this series. The emotions inside are so raw, it instantly draws you in.
I hate and Love/Hate feeling for Jack. He may have told her the truth in the end, but he still held it from her. He should have been honest with her from the beginning.
Emma’s character has grown so much. In this book you can see all of her emotions. She goes through a dark spell where her thoughts run rampant. She can’t seem to grasp onto the decision she made at first, but soon sees that it was the best decision she could have made. She seems so happy at the end. Even with all the heart break and devastation that surrounds them, they hold onto that love.
I will recommend this book to every one I know. It is by far one of the best out there.

I gotta say, in this one 😂 I had some massive love and hate between both Jack (a few moments but I still love Jack with my whole heart) and Emma between each book. Last book I hated Emma most (I'm so picky I know)
I felt bad for Matt this book, I thought that he deserved it but 😂 I was wrong I feel bad for him and I want to tell him everything will be okay.
Emma and Jack take the leap to be together both ending their marraiges but when secrets come out you will wonder if they will make it. This book will leave you wanting more.
Emma and Jack continue to fight to stay together. Meanwhile they keep lying and hiding. They aren't lacking in steam though. It's the dealing with the choices they made that they aren't handling right!.
