A fun book as long as you have a large enough tablet to read it on. I wouldn't go below 10 inches. The book is written chronologically from the earliest cars through each decade of the 1990s before finishing with a chapter on the 2000s.
Every 'page' is really a two page spread as it is modified from a coffee table book. Many of these pages have 15 to 18 related cars pictured with a little blurb about each one. Cars from all countries are included under headings like sports cars or luxury cars. The pictures are quite lovely and the layout gives a nice impression of what was going on in a given decade with a given type of car.
My favorite pages gave an overview of the history of a particular automotive marquee. Another enjoyable feature illustrated a specific car in-depth across two pages. The pictures of these cars were quite beautiful.
Anyone who enjoys cars or is interested in the history of the automobile would enjoy this book.
