Made me sorry for women

This started out right up my alley. Tough chick who doesn't take crap. Oh yeah, my kind of girl. Then she has her choice taken away from her and forced into a relationship. At this point I wanted to puke. Who in their right mind believes this could lead to love? I tried. I really tried to keep going. I want to see some justice going on! Forget that!!! I just can't get over what is so obviously abuse being glossed over as romance. Books like this make me worried for women.

Shifters are a girl's best friend

This is a wonderful love story with a kinda, sort of love triangle. Reminds me of Twilight at times. If Bella was a kick ass heroine who didn't NEED Edward to feel complete. The fact that Aria was able to take care of business without the need of a man to hold her hand, appealed to me. And when she finally did accept her soul mate, it didn't take away from who she was.

This is a complete series that was originally published under another pen name..I am half way thru first book and I was like this is familiar and now that I researched, I had originally read this book and found too close of a parallel to Kate Daniels series..a way too close….thus the one star for unoriginality.

I honestly really liked the series and I intend to buy the PB edition. The ML was not who I thought it was and it took a book or two to like him for his place in the series, but it was worth it. I'm hoping there will be a follow up series.

Pacific Northwest Pack box set is an ebook I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). I enjoyed the series and characters, although the world-building and structure is close enough to the Kate Daniels series to be considered a knock-off.

Spellbinding!!!!

Was totally hooked from beginning to end. Loved the relationship between Aria and Declan. Lots of action, hot romance scenes and some good humor thrown in.
