At this point, every Noragami volume is so intense that I will go back and forth from tears to screams. I honestly never know what to expect, except for my heart to get broken and build anew again and again. This is all thanks to the masterpiece that is Adachitoka’s storytelling.
We’re following one of the most baddass fights of the story, as Yato and Kazuma are giving their all to finally finish the Sorcerer. And honestly, I never felt as close to losing the both of them. They’re both ready to sacrifice themselves to protect Hiyori, Yukine and Bishamon, and I’m slowly starting to realize that against someone like the Sorcerer every sacrifice is necessary.
We finally get the full backstory of the Sorcerer, and what shocked me the most is how eerily similar is story is to Yato’s. Honestly, they're somehow two sides of the same coin, except that Yato has a much more loving heart and is ready to try to accept to be loved in returned. And it makes all the difference in the way they both deal with things.
Let me get this straight about the sorcerer's full backstory... I'm actually pretty excited to be going into the final volume. I think I'm ready for Noragami to be over. It's getting silly and drawing itself out too long. 3/5
This volume mainly consists of the fighting sequence between Yato and his father (why are so many bad guys in mangas/animes called 'Father' anyway?) so I wouldn't say I enjoyed it very much. However, it was interesting to find out more about Father's past.
Mam ochote dać 1 gwiazdkę za to ile ja ryczałem na tym, ile krzyczałem i za zakończenie. Mam tak cholernie dość jak to się przedłuża. ZAKLINACZ KILL YOUR FUCKING SELF KYS KYS KYS KYS zrobisz tym KAŻDEMU przysługę. Hiyori przytul Yato wyznajcie sobie miłość i żyjcie z Yukine jako szczęśliwa rodzinka proszę...
After the reveal of how and where was Yukine burried, what am I to do with myself, hm? Yato however is back at fighting Father, getting to the point that it looks like "this is it" and Father is done for, and I would be here for it, if I was not baited by a similar scenario 3 times already. Also tired of Mizuchi by this poit. Like how is Father able to dodge death AGAIN, if the boy he is possesing is sleeping? How did he perform the "soul call"? I really don't get it by now, I'm just tired. Why does this feel like such an asspull. And was he really killed because he was fighting over rice? lol
Kazuma and Bishamon got to me. That was heartwarming.
Finally read this most recent volume! It’s still very good and I’m still invested, but I don’t think it’s my favorite like it used to be. In hindsight I feel like the first few arcs were much stronger and maybe it should have ended there? I feel like it’s a tad repetitive at this point. Idk—it’s still really good and I feel like we’re getting to the end here. I am still super invested of course and really enjoyed this volume!!
Time to wait like 9 months before the next one comes out in the US RIP
They didn't have to make the father that pretty but they did. Also, how he keeps company w Izanami and wants to wreck the world for his wife? Come onnn, I don't like him why make him like this. Kazuma is out though, my baby, and Yukine has shattered. Hiyori is on the verge of death and Také & Ebisu know the father's name. Hiyori also recognises the reality marble for some reason. I have questions, and I am anxious for the answers. I see no way for this to end happily.

This manga is so hard to read sometimes. Like, its not the darkest thing I'm reading, but some elements really are brutal. It shows the quality of the work that I can't help but come back to it though. The art is lovely, even as its breaking your heart. It seems like things start looking up for two seconds for one of our characters, and then another is in absolute peril. I can't help but feel terrible for the Stray, even as she does terrible things. Its just a lot. I've already requested the next volume.

I knew it was too good to be true for the crafter to be dead. Just die already!!
I’m really worried about Hiyori. That girl needs to go to a far shore hospital and get here tail fixed, or she’s going to end up in Yomi before anyone else does. Also, I thought they could only come back if someone had called their name, but it seems they can as long as they have a “lifeline”(someone who remembers them? Can only the living count?)
My heart was beating so fast reading this!
