My first experience with this book was from WEBTOON, I’m still a vivid fan of series from that platform, but, we have to admit it, this was not it.
(Pardon my English, it’s not my first language)
So, I’ve been reading this comic since my teenage years, at that time I really loved this comic! As a fan of Greek mythology and the story os Hades and Persefone, I was so excited to read my favorite type of reading, comics, with my favorti Greek mythology history. I accompanied the story for a really longgggg time, until I got bored of so many chapters and seasons. I won’t take any credit for the author, because I know for sure it’s a really hard job to write, drawn and colour, so it takes time, but, that’s not the thing, what annoys me is how they create loonggg stories, without purpose, with a bunch of seasons, all messed up because you forget the plot, just to maintain the fame and popularity that it used to have at the beginning. If you keep extending your “product” it will lose its appeal, it’s a marketing strategy to keep consumers interested, but how can a read maintain its focus on the comic if we keep losing track of the plot?
Another point, that for sure a lot of people had already point it out, it’s de art style. Who am I to criticise others, but, why is Persefone always changing shape? That diet is going crazy.
Overall, ate the beginning it was a cool reading, I was enjoying it, but now, that I’m in the middle of it, or I don’t even know (since I lost track), it’s just boring and long, pointless in my point of view. If you are going to keep extending your “product” at least make it consistent and less confusing, because it comes to a point where it lisos its meaning.

If I could rate this as 0 stars I would. I read the webtoon and this sucks. Genuinely such a bad story, and the art is fine but isn’t enough to save it. It’s not even a fun story to read and not take seriously or to read just for the romance of it. Really weird plot points and choices that kinda give fetish-y.

I love comics and this is one of the top reads of all time for me. The art is really beautiful and the storyline mixed with Greek mythology in a modern setting captures your attention while addressing real world wounds. Exceptional read!

I loved this book. It takes mythology to a whole other level. A must-read for people who love romance and Greek mythology.

I devoured this book. There are some characters that are annoying. Like Apollo but overall I really enjoyed this book.
