I know this trilogy was pure pulp...but for me it was pure joy. Nothing deep. Nothing life changing. Just good characters, exciting scenarios and decent writing. Yeah, I have read better books, but I enjoyed these as much as anything I have read for a while. I have no idea if Jade was a real writer or a pen-name for multiple writers (the variations in characterization and style of each book would make me believe the latter), but good for him/them. I am not ashamed to say I will probably reread these someday.
