Emma Prescott thought she had life figured out but with a few short, sharp words, everything comes tumbling down. Can she learn to survive the ride and where does one Jordan Andrews fit into all of this?
A beautiful story of a broken girl working her damnedest to please those around her that she works herself to death picking up some extreme habits along the way. This story resonated deeply with me as someone who has a strenuous relationship with my mother as well. I found myself rooting for the main character as she hit literal rock bottom and then scrambled to pick up the pieces. I loved the encouraging support she found in her little chosen family away at school and the growth experienced throughout. It's refreshing to see a character have it all, lose it all, then work her way back up.
