Victorious Eschatology: A Partial Preterist View

Rate this book
A biblically-based, optimistic view of the future. Co-authored by Harold R. Eberle and Martin Trench. Along with a historical perspective, they present a clear understanding of Matthew 24, the book of Revelation, and other key passages about the events to precede the return of Jesus Christ. Satan is not going to take over this world. Jesus Christ is Lord and He will reign until every enemy is put under His feet!

Last year, I read Vic Reasoner’s “Hope of the Gospel,” which spoke to me because I had long recognized that what I read and understood from the Bible did not mesh with the popular end times views of the Left Behind universe. Reasoner piqued my interest in postmillennialism. Wanting to explore further, I came across Victorious Eschatology, and I found this book to be so fascinating, I could barely put it down! I will say it’s probably not for everyone, but I think it is surprisingly accessible, and the visual illustrations were both simple and clear. There are some passages I wish they had elaborated more on - there are still questions I want to address further - but I can anticipate this being an excellent resource I’ll return to in the future, and I have already started recommending it to others.
