I LOVE READING BADASS FEMALE ASSASSIN LOVE STORY LIKE THIS ONE 😍❤️ IT’S A SAFE LOVE STORY! SAFE ALL THE WAY BABY😍
I LOVE reading a mafia love story with no other woman drama and NO other woman or other people’s crazy bullsh*t drama🥺😍 Cause sometimes other mafia love stories, they have this characters owning a club or strip club and have crazy woman in there. NOT THIS BOOK. THIS IS BOOK IS A MAFIA ROMANCE THAT IS SO HOT AND SOOO SAFE! You won’t have to be worry about things like that when you read this book from this author ❤️🥺 I’m so glad to find this author and addicted to her books 😆
I LOVE when this story starts with them being a couple and not with anyone else… I LOVE when the heroine is such a badass assassin and also a single mother to a wonderful cute daughter ❤️🥺 I LOVE when the hero doesn’t have a problem with the heroine already have a daughter cause he claimed her daughter as his own too. No hesitation 🔥

The story starts with the heroine’s father in Italy who is a mob boss that is also a leader of the mafia world says to the heroine about her brother in New York. That she has a brother in new york and she has to go there with her daughter to have relationship with her brother she just recently found out. The brother is THEO VALENTINO who is half brother, they have the same father but different mothers. The heroine decides to go with her cute 9 year old daughter and meet up with her brother… When she finally meet and talked to her brother, her brother’s assistant slash right hand man name NEO came to see them… Neo aka the hero set his eyes on the heroine and claimed her 😍 He pursue her every single day… He loves that the heroine is dangerous and knows how to fight and uses weapons 🔥
“If you want me to stop seeing her, you’ll have to fucking kill me. If you make me choose, T, I will fucking choose her. Over you. Over anyone.”
(The hero said this to his boss aka his cousin and this is only days after he meet the heroine he already claimed her like this which is freakin amazing🔥😍)

The hero is a great killer too, he knows how to fight and all that stuff. SAME WITH THE HEROINE. But i think the heroine is just more dangerous than him tho tbh🤣 which is also very good! I love a dangerous heroines 😜
I LOVE THAT the hero went through a lot and also loves violence because he is in the mafia world, but once he saw the heroine, everything changes… And even though at first he didn’t know how to be in a relationship and how to love correctly, he did his very best and claimed her immediately. No bullsh*t 🫡👍🏼 NO SECOND THOUGHTS, no doubts and no hesitation… I love when a hero do that!

She loves the adrenaline and she loves doing it🔥 She only kills the bad guys and the people who deserve it though…. The heroine’s personality she’s sassy, stubborn and also very nice at the same time. She likes to defend herself to anyone even to the hero when he tried to control her. But she’s not too stubborn to the point she’s annoying lol. The heroine is also very smart and loves her family so much, she have the best relationship with her family… Any kind of weapon, any kind of killing violence things she knows it all and she mastered it all. I love seeing her actions😍🔥 Even her daughter is always so proud of her mom. I love that the heroine have the best relationship with her daughter, she never lie to her and she teach her daughter how to fight and use weapons as well. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HEROINE IS THE BEST AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH🥺😍❤️

Many times the hero likes to adore the heroine, like even listened to her voice just makes him happy and calm. He always says to the heroine that she’s very beautiful, most beautiful woman he ever seen🥺❤️

This book should have been longer I would have loved it more since it had the foundation of a five star read. Angelica is the assassin daughter of Al Donatello sent over with her child Izzy to protect Theo her new found step brother. And of course she was perfect for Theo’s right hand man and cousin Neo.
Angelica was the badass we needed in this series. She matched the energy Neo needed and they quickly became my favourite couple.

Watching Theo be so protective of Izzy was way too cute. He really is a softie to family.

When the main plot with the kidnapping took place I was on edge. I feel like this book had so much more of a stronger plot. Izzy did become like her mother at the end and I’m praying we one day get a book for Izzy when she’s grown.

The reveal of Lola and her character is such a great opener for the next book I just know it’s going to be my favourite.

Angelica was the badass we needed in this series. She matched the energy Neo needed and they quickly became my favourite couple.

Neo and Izzy have such an adorable father daughter dynamic. I just swooned about a hundred times more for Neo in this book.

The reveal of Lola and her character is such a great opener for the next book I just know it’s going to be my favourite.

Brutal Princess is the fourth instalment of the Valentino Empire series and follows the story of Angelica; Theo's sister who we meet in the previous book. Angelica has come to New York with the sole purpose of discovering the identity of the rat in Theo's organisation. Along the way, she gets to know her brother, his wife, and his best friend, Neo; a man with a reputation as scary as hers. She has a little girl to think about, to keep safe... and yet, she can't seem to take her mind off Neo. Neo never thought he'd find anyone he cared for the way Theo cares for Holly. He was happy with his life and finding the odd girl to scratch the itch. But when Angelica walks into their lives, all bets are off...
As always, a great addition to the series. We get to see some of the events from book three, but from another perspective and it is in no way repetitive. We also spend more time getting to know Izzy, and gosh, she is adorable! I love the easy to read chapters, the shifting POV between Angelica and Neo, and the suspense as we build to finding out who the rat is. The writing being so easy to read takes absolutely nothing away from the storyline and the emotions and angst builds really well.
Another favourite from Kylie! Would recommend!!

I think readers have to read the series in order because the MCs here already knew each other, and I get the impression that they met in the books prior.
Angelica was sent by her father to protect Theo, her half-brother. Not that Theo will need it, seeing as he's one of the most feared dons. Anyway, Neo, the underboss of Theo, was always around, and for some reason he got fascinated by Angelica and her daughter Izzy.
It seems more like insta-lust then became insta-love when reading this book. There's no build-up whatsoever between them, maybe because they've already met before. But then Theo pointed out that Neo and Angelica have only known each other for a few days, so maybe this was insta-love after all.
This was okay, but I'm really not feeling the quick turnaround of the things that happened here. The romance was underdeveloped, and they did more of the physical stuff than talk to each other. I'm just not feeling any chemistry between them, and idk why.
Anyway, I did like Neo's relationship with Izzy. He was such a good father figure for her. I also liked how he was so protective of them. The 180 from this guy being a bachelor for life to becoming a family man was kind of surprising. I did like his patience with Angelica too. He's always there for her, even when she's always pushing him away. He never gave up and was always willing to fight for them.
As for Angelica, I loved her independence and brave personality. I liked that she's a good mom and daughter. But her pride and stubbornness kind of ruin the fun of the story. She was too stubborn to ask for help, and she made a lot of things out of impulsiveness.
As for the suspense part, it was anticlimactic the way it went down. I had questions too about how that happened to Izzy. I was confused about how she was taken from a place surrounded by guards. Anyhoo, I liked that this kid didn't show any fear to her captors and believed that she would be saved by her Papa Neo.
Then, with Lola, I feel so heartbroken for what she went through in the last decade. I don't think I can handle reading her book. But I'm still glad that the author gave her own healing and HEA. I just can't read it because the topic was too much for me, and I'm not strong enough to handle such triggering content.
Overall, this was okay. I enjoyed the Neo and Angelica story.

I am so glad Kylie Kent wasn't done with the Valentino family yet. The first three books are a trilogy based around Theo and Holly, during those books we meet Neo, Theo's right-hand man, and Angelica who is a sister Theo didn't even know he had. Angelica is also the heir to Don of Dons. This leads to a whole lot of drama.
Beyond that though is an instant love story between Neo and Angelica. Neither was looking for it but they just can't deny it.
Brutal Princess has plenty of action, drama, suspense, and spice. It's full of great characters, banter, and chemistry. It is set part way into the third book in the trilogy so we jump back a little bit when we start reading. I enjoyed it though getting to see a different side to the events that happened then.
I hope we aren't done and find our way back to the Valentino's soon.

With the threat to Theo and his wife Holly Neo is determined to not let anything touch them. While taking out more threats in the safe house he spots Theo's new sister in the background. Intrigued by her he's determined to find out more.
'The woman is fucking beyond pretty. She's a goddess. An angel. She's ... I can't put my finger on it, but she sure is something special.
Finally face-to-face Neo can't deny how attractive he thinks Angelica is or how much he wants her. She's nothing like other women in his lifestyle, she's is fearless, strong and a badass. It only makes him want her more.
Angelica is drawn to Neo but he's nothing like what she wants. She wants to get away from the life, she has no desire for Isabella to be raised the same way she was, but she's also made sure Izzy knows how to protect herself. Having Neo barging his way into their life is not something she's prepared for.
"I'm not scared of you," I moan. "You might not be scared of me, but I sure as shit am fucking terrified of you." Why? Oh God, keep doing that." "Because you, my little dark angel, have the power to destroy me in ways no one else could. And you don't even know it."

When the rat gets too close Neo will lose his mind to make his girls safe and anybody in his way better look out.

Brutal Princess is the fourth installment in Ms. Kent's Valentino Empire series and is absolutely gripping. Angelica, Angel, and Neo's story is a suspense-filled, best friend's sister, mafia romance with dark situations, banter, a chemistry that is off the charts and spice that sets you on fire. Although this book is full of suspense, Ms. Kent included scenes that I could not stop laughing and I felt it relieved the tension that was happening throughout the book.
Angelica is Theo's sister that he never knew he had she is also the daughter of the Don of Dons and a bada$$. She wears the hat of a mother to the absolute sweetest, smart and feisty, daughter, Izzy, but at the same time, she is an assassin that is to be feared. When her father sends her to find the rat that has infiltrated Theo's organization. She brings her daughter to New York with her as there have been threats against Izzy. Theo thinks that she is there to bond with him but his underboss, Neo, knows differently. Neo is a dangerous man that is full of demons, anger and rage which makes him the best person for the job. He knows why Angelica, or his Angel as he calls her, is there but when seeing her has his mind thinking of other things. He sees a woman that is dark but at the same time light and beautiful. Has he met his match? He has completely lost his heart to his Angel and Izzy. When they get together the sparks not only ignite but torch everything around them. Neo now has the job of keeping his girls safe and when that doesn't happen all hell breaks loose. Will there be any survives when he is done? When he gets the shock of his life, how will he deal with it?
Neo and Angel are two of the same people when it comes to their likes and what makes them tick. Neo has finally met a woman that has complete control over him, well two because Izzy can get him to do anything that she wants. He also has Angelica's mind doing a complete 180, from thinking that she will never need a man and definitely not one that is a made man and so involved with the organization. The way that Noe puts her before anything and treats her like the queen she is, well it has you swooning hard over him. The ending was perfect but also lead to the next book which I cannot wait for.

Neo and Angelica's story is the fourth book in the Valentino Empire series and what a story there's is.
I mean seriously this book captured my attention before it was even in my hands...the blurb alone pulled at me...
The main characters of this book just speak to me on a deeper level. I mean I loved Neos banter and charm before ...but this books just keeps adding to him.
Neo is protective, loyal, hot and lethal (all of which you know if you've read the previous books...) But he is also hiding a few dark secrets of his own...add in his dedication to the family, his obsurdly brave nature and the way he looks after and accepts Izzy so effortlessly... Yeah he gets major major points.
Angelica what can I say other than, I wanna be Angelica when I grow up!! She is strong, loyal, lethal, she understands Neo, she is a fabulous mother, she has been trained to be the best and she wears that with pride...until she doesn't...the secret is though what she really wants... What is pushing her forward... I'm not going to say anything other than that but yeah, that secret I would've never guessed.
The dual POV adds to the overall picture, the chemistry between the two main characters jumps off the page, the steam could fill a football stadium and keep going, the back and forth who will cave first is sublime, and the twists in the book outstanding...
I laughed, cursed, melted and made faces at this book so many times my actual face muscles ached.
You will not be disappointed picking up this or any other Kent book. I devour them and then re read them because they're that good

Meh, it was ok.
It was a bit to insta love for me. Angelica has a 9 year old daughter and just was a bit wishy washy with being a mum. She wants out of the mafia world but is a highly trained assassin who leaves alot to go on missions and then falls in love with an underboss who apparently will happily walk away from his mum, sister and cousin who is basically a brother for this girl he met 2 weeks ago.
He is beyond obsessive it came across icky and annoying. It's one thing to accept someone's daughter. it's another to become possessive of her without the mums permission. He would even agree to things without checking with her. She is a strong woman. She should have bit back at him on it but never did.
This story could have been great if it had been stretched out with a bit more relationship building.
This series is always so instant love and marriage and just sex not relationship growth. In the real world, none of them would last because it's all lust, not love, hahaha he would end up cheating every time once he is bored.
I'm intrigued by Lolas story but I know from the Epilogue the author will make her fall for the doctor and get over her 15 years of being a taken child who has been sexually, mentally and physically assaulted like it was nothing. As this author doesn't deal with traumas at all.
Again, in the real world, she would never be with a man again, or it may take years to get over her trust issues, etc. But I'm sure it will be fixed with 1 handsome man who gives her great sex 🙄

This book may say standalone but I recommend reading the first three. I feel like you will be lost while reading this story. Every little detail helps.
Ms. Kent all I can say is that this story was perfect for this series. While T is still my favorite Neo did give him a run for his money. Ms. Kent did not hold back on the action, drama, and spice because that's just not her writing style. As for Neo, all I can say is wow. That man would bring any woman to her knees with that mouth. Them as a couple were insane they balanced each other out perfectly and I loved it. Who doesn't love two strong main characters that have explosive chemistry? If mafia romance is your jam then I suggest you dive into this world with Ms. Kent and trust me you won't be disappointed.
This book may say standalone but I recommend reading the first three. I feel like you will be lost while reading this story. Every little detail helps.
Ms. Kent all I can say is that this story was perfect for this series. While T is still my favorite Neo did give him a run for his money. Ms. Kent did not hold back on the action, drama, and spice because that's just not her writing style. The book was honestly fantastic. I loved the writing style, full of detail and emotion, I was completely mesmerised.
The storyline was well thought out, with great flashbacks, twists and the perfect level of suspense- I was completely sucked into the New York Mafia world and didn’t put the book down until the very last word.
Characters were in-depth and really interesting. Neo um.. yum and Izzie such a adorable little spitfire.
Steamy scenes were hot AF, detailed and numerous - spicy 🌶🥵
I enjoyed the mafia possessiveness, action, fighting and war. Also the Don and that unknown expectation of what he thinks.
This book has so many elements all tied in together with a perfect ending, can’t wait to read more from this author

It is a stand-alone but to understand the characters more it’s best to read the prior books. Neo is the underboss to the Valentino empire and Angelica is the princess of the Donatello empire and also Neo’s best friend’s sister. Angelica had a mission but when she meets Neo that starts to get blurred. I love everything about this couple, I just love Neo in general lol. The book has lots of yummy steamy scenes. I will say personal opinion I thought ending should’ve been different. I still like the ending just wished a bit different.

This is a well written addition to this amazing series and this is Neo and Angel's story. This story is filled with heartbreak, suspense, intrigue, twists , humour, witty banter, danger, emotions, and love which all leads to a thrilling and addictive page turner. If I could give this book 10 stars, I would, with no hesitation. It was absolute perfection. Neo and Angelica were one of the most perfect duets ever written. The chemistry, the tension, the protectiveness, everything between them was flawless. And Neo with Izzy? God, he was the perfect father. Their bond melted me, He was the kind of father every little girl deserves.
I finished this book in one sitting, something I haven’t done in a long time, because I simply couldn’t put it down. It made me sick, made me cry, made me happy, made me fall apart. I didn’t just finish this book… this book finished me.
Neo was always my favourite, and I was so right to love him. He truly is the perfect man. And Lola… that one chapter from her POV shattered me. It made me cry, made me physically sick, and tore my heart into pieces. I don’t even know how I’ll survive reading her book when one chapter already wrecked me this much.

I think Brutal Princess has become my favourite in the Valentino Empire Series.
There is drama, spice 🌶 ohh and knife play which I loved.

What a great addition to the Valentino Empire series! I received an ARC from the author.
Loved seeing the overlap between Neo and Angelica and the previous book. We now know all about what happened behind the scenes whilst shit was going down in Book 3.
Angelica is a bad ass. The Don's daughter and T's newly found out sister, she is basically as assassin in hiding and has a young daughter. Neo, being Neo, wants her bad. But it's like a slow obsession and not as full on in your face like T was with Holly haha Loved seeing all the previous characters as well. And those epilogues! <3
Overall an awesome 4th book and can't wait to read the rest!

YES!!! Kylie Kent always keeps it Coming!! Pun intended. Brutal Princess is HOT, EXTREMELY HOT!! Neo and Angelica …. I can’t even find the words for their chemistry. I love this instant family. It was intense there in the end. I can’t wait for the next story in this series. This was an amazing book. Thank you for another awesome read.

I am in love with The Valentino Family series and Brutal Princess is a great addition!! Angelica and Neo are so dark and twisted but at the time completely opposite they are perfect for each other ♡
This can be read as a standalone but to meet Neo and Angelica earlier it is best to read the books in order. This story is full of steam, full of teasing, full of back and forth banter, all while keeping you on the edge of your seat for what is to happen next.

I fell in love with the slightly unhinged Neo in the earlier books in the Valentino series. He is the loyal and darkly dangerous second to T's Don. Who would have known that he applies the same level of crazy devotion to his beloved? Boy does he fall hard and he falls fast. He is right in there calling Angelica's daughter his own almost immediately. This is crazy possessive instalove at its very very best.
And Angelica is such a good female lead as she is the crazier to his insane. She is highly skilled and she takes pleasure in pain. She is also wildly protective of her family and her new found brother.
I love Kylie Kent's strong and sassy women with a touch of the violent. Her heroes are dangerous, violent and hopeless romantics in their own wild way. This book was thrilling, addictive and I couldn't put it down.
And now I am left impatiently waiting for the next installment.

I absolutely loved the next installment of this series! Angelica and Neo were so hot together and their chemistry was off the charts!
I loved how easily Neo was there for both Angelica and her daughter and that even though she is his best friend and boss sister that didn’t stop him from falling in love with her!

I have had so many favorites from Kylie and this series! Neo and Angelica are imperfect perfection. We have gotten to know Neo through T and Holly’s books. Getting his story from his POV was great. The book starts up right at the ending of United Reign. It moves forward with discovering who is the Rat in the Valentino empire and old enemies come back into focus.
The story like all of Kylie’s draws you in right away. The sparks between Neo and Angelica are palpable and the spice is the spiciest yet. It is also darker than the first 3 and books, but done in a really great way. The story answers a lot if the still hanging questions from the first 3 books, however since it’s a series and this is book 4 out of 5, we have answers but also so many more questions.
I don’t want to give away spoilers but if you liked the first books you will love this one. I think Angelica may be my favorite female lead so far from all of her books. She it tough and unwavering and she needs to be given the life she has lead. Neo is force to be reckoned with and no is going to get in the way of what he wants. Even Angelica.
