Hector has been saving money so he could afford a mate. He found him, paid the dowry, and today, he finally brings his new husband home. The boy knows what awaits him—he’ll be collared and claimed. He stands barefoot in the middle of the cottage, his eyes down, quiet and docile like a good omega groom. He seems afraid. After being celibate for years, Hector craves to touch the pretty omega and take what’s lawfully his. But he doesn’t want his new husband to fear him. Will the boy like him? Even love him one day? _
Iker’s Love
Disgraced and banished by his first mate, Iker found safe haven at the palace. He stays under the king’s protection and doesn’t ever want to depend on an alpha again. Except now that he’s pregnant, his body has its own will. It demands pleasure and warmth, and only one man’s embrace feels right.
Loving a golden-collared boy is foolish, but Elias falls anyway. How can he not love the beautiful pregnant omega who seeks comfort in his arms every night? Iker seems to need him, and Elias wants to give him the world. But as long as Iker wears the king’s collar, Elias can do nothing but hope. _
Ky’s Mate
Abandoned by his family and never allowed to return home, Iain is brought to the palace. Would the king collar him tonight? Would he… take him? But the king is not here, and instead, a tall, handsome omega welcomes him. Ky is his name, and he’s different from any man Iain has met before.
The new virgin omega is stunning, and Ky hopes he might steal a kiss or even a taste of the young flesh. There’s something about Iain that unsettles him, though. The way he looks at Ky, his scent, the blush in his cheeks… Ky would never break the king’s trust and take the young man, but the temptation proves to be stronger than anything he could imagine. — The novellas feature side characters from the main duet: Hedonist: King’s Heat and Hedonist: King’s Mate. All three novellas stand on their own, with a HEA for every featured couple. All three explore specific kinks and fetishes.

Farmer’s omega - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This short story just didn’t hit the mark for me. I’m not sure why, I just wasn’t feeling it at the time. I mean, the smut was on point but at the same time I felt like it was lacking something.
Iker’s love/Ky’s mate - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I need a solid book on Iker and Elias. I love them both so much, I need those moments of healing in detail. The glimpse I got into their life is not enough! As for Ky and Iain they are both just so sweet!! I wouldn’t mind a book on them either 😅 I feel like there’s still a lot that could happen with both couples, like take us back in time!! I need the past just as much as the future. 😂
Iker’s story was by far the best one in my opinion. The right amount of kink with the right amount of romance. The other two short stories didn’t really hit the spot for me but they were nice enough.
I'm sorry. I struggled with It and just didn't enjoy it much at all. That's rare for me because I love this author's books. It probably just me and my mood. I just didn't connect with any of the characters at all.
This is a collection of 3 stories set in the world of King's Heat. All about 3-5 chapters.
The first is Farmer’s Omega. This one featured Nile. He was the boy that Jonah took against the tree in the garden while Sebastian watched. The book later mentioned that Nile was married off. This is the story of Nile and his new husband falling in love and having great sex. Don’t forget great sex, because this is Roe Horvat we are talking about after all. It was the shortest of the three and very sweet. 5/5 ⭐️
Iker’s Love This one was ok. Iker was pregnant in Kings Heat. This one is the story of Iker giving birth and falling for Elias. I found it a bit slow, but I’ll take anything in this world. 4/5 ⭐️
Lastly is Ky’s Mate. I love Ky! And getting to see him and Iain from their own POV instead of just Sebastian’s was 🤌🏼. This was by far the smuttiest of the three stories but I loved it because it was also Ky and Iain falling in love and Ky introducing Iain to all the pleasures. They even got an epilogue! 5/5 ⭐️
This is Ky and Iain’s story who are side characters in “Hedonist- Kings Heat” and “Hedonist Kings Mate”. There are equally descriptive steamy scenes as in previous books so be aware.
I found this whole genre fascinating in so far as mpreg goes, a whole new world. I wonder what Roe Horvat’s other standalone stories offer. I guess I’ll try and find out.
Sweet, sexy and so erotic. This collections of stories is a delight to read. The sideline characters we’ve seen playing with King Sebastian get their time to shine.
All three stories are so sexy with this wonderful depth of feeling woven in. All three are worth the read.
This book is a collection of 3 short stories ❤️ I’ve read about the characters in previous books in the series, love reading their stories ❤️❤️ These stories are super hot, fast paced and so very sweet ❤️❤️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Roe Horvat’s books elevate erotica in mm romance. No PWP here. Their characters have intelligence and the stories follow a plot line, and all are beyond hot.
I still haven't finished reading Hedonist but this felt right up my alley. These stories are gloriously smutty and when you put too much of one thing together it tends to become overly tedious and unsexy, that's why I appreciated the serialised nature of Hedonist and am having such a hard time reading the books. But this is an anthology and is therefore more reminiscent of a serialised work than an out-and-out novel.
I started this book about a fortnight ago and have been reading it mostly in fits and starts ever since. It was a good book to have handy when I was in the mood for smut but I really don't think I could have read it all in one go because even the thought of it is tedious.
The stories are full of smut, it is what they are. This anthology is the definition of porn without plot and it revels in it and I loved that about it because the book doesn't bother having a plot at all, it is straight up about these characters and their love and sex lives. That's it. I really found that part refreshing.
This anthology is comprised of three stories and I feel like the preference of one story over the other would reveal more about the kinks one prefers to read about rather than a reflection of the intrinsic quality of the stories themselves, having said that I enjoyed all three stories but I guess my favourite would be Iker's Love.
I feel like anyone who enjoyed the hedonism of Hedonist would enjoy these stories as well and I look forward to revelling in the same in future stories to come.
This collection of three stories is indeed the epitome of hedonism, lust, and ultimately profound love. This book provides the backstories for characters that we've seen in other books in the Hedonist series. They are marked by very little other storyline and lots of lovemaking - individual and often group. It's an enjoyable book when you are in the mood for wanton omegaverse passion. Although the book can standalone, it will be more enjoyable to read the other Hedonist books first to get a better frame of reference for the palace activities and the king.
Short stories, updates on three of the king's omegas.
Nile, Jonah's former stable boy, has left the palace for a marriage arranged by his father. After a rough start, he teaches his inexperienced new husband about the finer points of lovemaking.
Iker falls in love with one of the king's alpha guards who supports him through the pregnancy and birth of his first child.
Young Iain, shunned by his family for his hyper sexuality, finds love and support with one of the other omegas, and is satisfied for the first time in his life.
If you're looking for intense heat with a good dose of romance, this collection of three stories is for you.
Two of stories take place at Sebastian's palace, so expect one big orgy where anything goes. Pregnant omegas are worshipped, with alphas bowing to do their bidding.
My favorite story was Hector and Nile's, which is set in town at Hector's modest farm. I desperately wanted an epilogue for these MCs, but only the final story (KY and Iain's) gets one.
I thoroughly enjoyed this accompaniment to the main series, with supporting characters telling their love stories. Roe Horvat has created such a rich and sensually erotic world which is an escapist pleasure to delve into.
These were sweet (and super spicy) quick stories about some characters we met during Jonah and Sebastian’s story. I like revisiting these and seeing what happened while Sebastian was off doing Kingly things.
Love these side characters. This gives a closure and a HEA they deserved. I love this universe. It's written beautifully and the characters have been with us for 2/3 books and KY getting his happy ever after ugh ugly cry.
I tried, I really did but this is just sex, sex and sex after a little bit more sex. No plot whatsoever. Not even a little itty bitty. And the sex scenes weren’t even that……..🔥
short stories set in the Hedonist universe. Nice little compilation, this series does exactly as it says on the tin. It's basically porn. SO if you are in the mood for that, its great.
Read for a group challenge so this one was the first in the series I'd read. The king and the setup didn't make sense to me, but I did like how little drama there was. It felt like one of those happy harem ones. A lot of sex.

Great spin off from the Hedonist duology, which can be read as a standalone. Here the book is the divided in three stories, I enjoyed all of them equally.
The first one is an alpha/omega couple who recently got married. The alpha bought the omega in marriage and both are nervous of their roles within their relationship and want to do their best for each other. I liked how the alpha easied the omega's worries about being perfect (from the expected traditional roles within the universe), and how horny both were for each other. The added detail of them liking their traditional roles was a nice touch. They complemented each other great, they're freaky and I loved it lol.
The second pairing is another alpha/omega, between a palace guard and a collared boy, which basically means he can decide to mate or not, usually not doing it and going through their heats having sex with different alphas. The omega here actually wants the alpha, and the alpha yearns to be deserved of him being chosen as his mate. They were adorable. I loved how attentive the alpha was, possibly the most caring one from all the alpha characters in this universe. He respected the omega's decissions all along, which it's the bare minimun, but I really liked how it was highlighted that it was the omega who chose every single thing.
The third and final pairing is omega/omega. I loved how the author included omegas who weren't romantically attracted to alphas, but longed to be mated with another one of their designation, which is a taboo within the universe. Fortunately, they get a happy ending while being involved with another couple (alpha/alpha). I really enjoyed how the older omega introduced the younger one into pleasure and opening up to his own desires, and encouraging him to experiment as he wished. The group sex scenes were hot and their family is adorable.
One last thing I have to mention is that Roe Horvat truly known how to write erotica, this is something I say in most of my reviews of his books but I'm seriously in awe. I'm the type who isn't into insta-lust or lust driving a pairing's development, but his writting makes the trope very entertaining, and I never feel as if it doesn't make sense (which happens with other books that use these elements). Kudos to him.
