Hey there! Before I tell you all about myself, can I invite you to join my private Rachel's Readers Facebook group? That's where my readers hang out, discuss my books, participate in giveaways and learn about new releases.
So who am I? My name is Rachel Hanna, and I am a wife, mother of three incredible kids (maybe I am a BIT biased?), two lovable doggies and one cat that lives outside and thinks he owns the world. Okay, I also have a gecko now too. Don't judge me.
I started writing as a young child, and I went into the field of Journalism for many years as an adult. Now, as a romantic fiction writer, I get to live out my own daydreams every single day and share them with readers around the world!
I'm a Southern chick living near Atlanta, so I say "yes, ma'm" and "ya'll", but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
In this installment of WTF: Southern Edition, we have a convenient graduation, a sudden urge to join the military when literally none of the reasons had ever been mentioned on-page before, and a gas baby.
Seriously, if it wasn't so poorly constructed, I'd be fascinated just on the ridiculousness of the whole thing.
The best thing about it is that this is the last one. I can safely put this behind me as twelve hours in the rear-view mirror. Books one and two had a plot/theme at least, and it just slid downhill in a freefall of bad writing and even worse narration until everything was wrapped up in an inexplicable bow made of regret.
I feel like I need to recite some kind of Hail Mary (Oliver) to cleanse my soul now.
I was blessed to get an ARC of this book to help find errors, so thank you Rachel Hannah for that opportunity I have loved this series and this sixth book was a great way to wrap up the series. This author has a great way of finding the mother daughter and sister relationships and making you want to sit down to Sunday dinner with these characters. Although they are disappointed along the way, they rely on each other and make their family work. I loved it.
This is book 6 in the Sweet Tea B&B series. Rachel always provides a backstory, so you can read any of these as a standalone, however, I do recommend reading them all to catch up on the lives of all those that play important roles in these delightful, heartwarming stories.
Kate is about to appear on the local Good Morning Georgia television program to talk about her new business, Sweet Charlene’s Honey. The interview is somewhat of a disappointment, however, a sweet deal with a grocery story chain could be the possible outcome, despite a few hurdles. Kate is doing whatever it takes to make the business profitable. Her daughter, Evie, will soon be going off to college. Unknown to Kate, Evie is waiting for the right moment to disclose her plans after her high school graduation.
Mia and her husband Travis are expecting their first child. Travis and Cooper have an unexpected opportunity that involves their adventure business. This is in addition to getting a new zip line, which they feel only their most adventurous guests will be willing to take a chance on. If the timing ever presents itself, a future engagement is possible.
The B&B continues to be busy with them all working together to continue the success although they are facing a few challenges. I love visiting what feels like’s friends after reading the previous books in this series. Such well developed, delightful, interesting characters that somehow feel real, and seem like friends as each book delves into the ups and downs of their lives.
As I turned the last page of this heartfelt story, I can see the potential of more to come and hope to be able to revisit the Sweet Tea B&B again in the future.
I never hesitate to recommend a book by Rachel Hanna because I absolutely know it will be a clean, intriguing, heartfelt story.
Book 6 of the Sweet Tea B&B series is just as wonderful as the first 5 books in the series.
The author has a wonderful way of building each character so that you feel that you actually know them. She's able weave each story and character(s) into subsequent books, effortlessly. I'm always looking forward to what's going on in each community.
A book that is able to make me smile while reading and even laugh out loud is a HUGE winner for me. Each and EVERY one of Rachel's books does this for me.
Book 1: Sweet Tea B&B Book 2: Sweet Tea Sunrise Book 3: Sweet Tea & Honey Bees Book 4: Sweet Tea & Wedding Rings Book 5: Sweet Tea & Christmas Trees Book 6: Sweet Tea & Baby Makes Three
I've listed all the books in the series because this is a MUST-READ series. It's a feel-good story. Each book ends, but also continues to the next book. The whole series is amazing, and it's a clean read, with no detailed romance 'experiences.' The dates show when I started the audiobook series and ended it.
I sincerely enjoyed "Sweet Tea & Baby Makes Three". Although I'm sad this series is ending, I'm happy to have everything wrapped up and all questions answered. Sisters Mia and Kate have grown so much - individually & together - throughout this series, and it was nice to see them both get what they've been looking for. I also found it very touching how the memory of their mother was incorporated throughout the story. Grab a cup of tea and treat yourself to this happy ending for all characters!
This was such a cute book and an easy, enjoyable read! In this final installment, Evie faces a big decision about her future, which adds an emotional layer to the story. The arrival of a new baby brings joy and excitement, making it a heartwarming addition to the family. The book serves as a lovely wrap-up to the series, tying everything together in a satisfying way. Perfect for fans of feel-good stories and charming characters!
This was the final installment of the Sweet Tea series, which I started as a fun diversion from heavier topics. I am surprised at how much I loved the story and these characters. The setting is idyllic and familiar to me, and there are so many elements that are true Southern staples, like sweet tea and homemade biscuits. I liked the wrap-up to the story, but I wouldn’t be mad if Rachel Hanna decided to expand into more books to let us follow these beloved characters further into their journey.
This is book 6 in the series. I love reading series. You know all the characters and you can invest in their stories. The downside is they end. This felt like the end. I don't give breakdowns on the book because I want people to read the whole series. Just know the books are good and filled with romance, drama and tons of feel good moments.
Sweet Tea and baby Makes Three deserves a five-star rating because, as the heading says, it is about family. I have enjoyed reading the Sweet Tea B&B series, and am disappointed to see it end. I would recommend this series to And who enjoy s Rachel Hannah's books and series.
In the sixth and, according to the author, the final book in the series, Mia is about to give birth, Kate is offered a deal on her homemade honey, Cooper is thinking about proposing to Kate, and Evie makes a big decision about her future.
Fans of these delightful and charming tales sure hope that a few years down the line there might be a sequel series in store.
This is a great conclusion to this series. Mia finds out that she is pregnant and everyone is excited. Both businesses are growing and things seem to finally being going good for everyone. The big question now is what will Kate's daughter, Evie, do with her life. She has some idea but she isn't sure how her mother will take the news.
A great way to finish the series. The story completes the characters and leaves one feeling good. If there was only one drawback to the ending, I wished there had been an epilog. I would have liked to see the closure for Evie, Mia, and Kate (perhaps a look 10 years down the road?)
But it was not a big issue for me, I still enjoyed the book and series and would highly recommend it.
I listened to this entire series on audio book because I was driving and needed a listen. Character development was just so poor that the characters were not just unlikeable, but annoying. The over arching story would have been OK, but it is hard to get past the characters lack of positive attributes and complaints.
Another inspiring feel good book by Rachel Hannah. Although the characters face challenges, the love and support they have for one another us uplifting and inspiring. I likes it so much, I read it in one sitting. Can’t wait for her next book!
Disclaimer: I got an advanced copy of this book. This is the delightful final book in the Sweet Tea series. It's full of adventures with Kate, Mia & Evie along with Cooper & Travis.
Fans of this family or Rachel's books will enjoy this light hearted read.
Each book in this series has been a wonderful story to read and for this story to be the ending was just perfect. Who doesn't love a story that gives us a baby, family and love. Hate to see this series end but I am sure we will all get more wonderful stories from Rachel Hanna.
4 stars for Sweet Tea & Baby Makes Three (Sweet Tea B&B Book 6). What a great way to end this series with the sisters finding their bond and making he family they have both always longed for.
This is the final installment of this series which I loved. In this book, a lot of loose ends are tied up and leaves us wanting more, like another book.
This book totally extraordinarily good !! It only took me a few hours to read this book. I loved it.
I love reading about the adventures of Mia,Travis Evie, Cooper , and Kate. I have loved the B&B. I only wish I could visit there. Please don't let this be the last book in the series. We still have Evie's life and the baby's. I look forward to more!
This was the last book of this series, and a story of family and the culmination of everyone's progress. Rachel wrote a very enjoyable series and this last book pulled it all together. I listened to the audio version. Sweet Charlene's Honey and daughter, Evie had it going.
A LOT OF DECISIONS BEING MADE IN HIS BOOK, SOME GOOD AND SOME SAD. BUT THE BOOK WAS FANTASTIC. i WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ANOTHER BOOK TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH COOPER AND KATE AND ALSO EVIE AND TO SEE HOW MIA AND TRAVIS AND BAY ARE DOING. LOVE THIS SERIES.
Finally finished this series and loved it...easy reading and interesting situations with each new series. The books are short (novellas). I'm now onto more serious stuff with my next read as we head into autumn.
So many decisions to make in this book. Aren't we all faced with times like this, where so much is happening and we have to decide what to do? As usual, it is a wonderful book.
I’ve enjoyed reading the Sweet Tea B&B series. They have been short, simple & easy books to read. This book, the last in the series, was a sweet & happy ending to everything! Now I want to go stay at a B&B in a quaint little town in the Blue Ridge Mountains & eat some delicious home-cooked food!!
I really enjoyed this series and will miss the family and the small town. Great story perfect way to end these books. Can't wait to see what's new series coming out.
