There are reasons wild wolves avoid humans, stay out of cities, and never remain in one place long enough to call it home. Nick Pearson understands those reasons better than most, which is why he’s spent most of his life living as a drifter. A life that is upended when he inherits a partnership in a rundown mountain resort along with a brother and sister he didn’t know existed.
The last thing he expects is Mandy Jenson, a gorgeous, wrench-wielding plumber, to walk into his newly acquired existence. She is his mate and a temptation he can’t resist.
When a rival shifter threatens his home and her life, Nick will do whatever it takes to keep Mandy safe and claim her as his own.
Rayna Tyler is an author of paranormal and sci-fi romance. She loves writing about sexy alpha heroes and the sassy heroines who turn their lives upside down. Whether it’s in outer space or in a supernatural world here on Earth, there’s always an adventure filled with suspense.
Mandy Jenson had an uneasy feeling as she entered the living room of the old cabin. The Seneca Falls Resort had been closed for business for months now, so there shouldn’t be anyone here while it was undergoing renovation. Mandy was a plumber/handyperson who would be doing some of the repairs and upgrades for the new owners. As she examined the leaky pipes under the sink, she noticed the pipe was wet – someone had recently used it, and that feeling of not being alone was still with her! Twisting the wrench on the pipe, she heard a low, threatening growl and it sounded close by. She slowly backed out of the cabinet and turned to the door where she saw a man, crouched and partially shifted with fangs and claws. Mandy knew of shifters because her best friend, Berkley, had shifted in high school to protect Mandy and save her life. So she lowered her head in submission and told the shifter she would call for someone who could explain this situation. The shifter nodded and she called Reese, Berkley’s brother and one of the new owners.
Reese arrived and spoke to Nick who turned out to be the stepbrother Berkley had mentioned, the resort’s third partner. They were not aware he had returned from his trip and was using this cabin. But Reese needed the repairs done soon, as this one was in the worst shape. Nick went to his room and changed clothes, thinking about Mandy, and his wolf thought MATE. No, what are the odds that he’s find his mate, the one female meant for him, in his own bathroom? His wolf didn’t care about luck. So he walked to the main lodge.
Nick’s wolf was part wild wolf, known to be more aggressive and short-tempered. Most didn’t get along with either other shifters or humans. Most never settled down. So he had promised his sister he would try the family thing for a year. When Reese joined him in the office, he reminded Nick that not all humans knew about shifters. Then they talked about the break-ins and damage being done to the outlying cabins. The vandalism was probably being done by a hotel owner living near their property, but they couldn’t prove it – yet. Even some suppliers in town were being pressured not to do business with them. So Nick, who had worked in construction, had travelled to Denver to arrange for supplies from a friend of his. But their troubles are not over. Will they solve the mystery of who is trying to ruin their business? Will Nick accept that his wolf is right about Mandy being his mate? Will he be able to keep her safe when her life is put in danger?
This is a very well written book that I thoroughly enjoyed! Nick is struggling to fit in with his new family and settle down in one place. His family is trying to restart their resort business inherited from their grandfather but being vandalized by an outside source. Mystery, love, and danger all combine in this exciting story line. Grab your copy and enjoy reading how it all plays out!
A huge part of my love of reading just about any genre is discovering new-to-me authors, many will become auto-read, auto-buy at some point (usually after the second book). So, while I may be coming to the ‘Seneca Falls Shifters’ series a bit late that didn’t make any difference to my complete enjoyment and need for more of these shifters who populate this particular world. ‘Tempting the Wild Wolf’ drew me in from the first chapter and didn’t let go until the final page – and the need to go download the next book in this series.
Nick is everything I adore in a growly wolf shifter. A loner, a bit wild, and once he finds his mate then he’s done… except for the chase, the need to convince her that she is his everything for the rest of their lives. He’s also protective of not only his mate but his family as well. And when danger comes for one of them, it comes for them all – and Nick is right there in protection mode, especially protecting Mandy.
Mandy’s best friend is a wolf shifter, so while working in one of the lodge’s cabins she wasn’t totally afraid of the growling half-shifted male at the bathroom door. Not.. totally. What a way to meet the lone half-brother that Berkley’s talked about. And what a way to feel all those “I’m attracted” feelings come back to life when she’d sworn off of men forever. Right now, Mandy has no idea that she’s Nick’s mate but she’s about to get to know this lone wolf a lot better, fall deeper, and maybe get herself in a lot of trouble before their happy ending comes true.
I had such fun with ‘Tempting the Wild Wolf’. There are several secondary characters that I cannot wait to read about, a definite danger to not only the lodge but everyone who lives there, and a threat headed directly for Mandy who Nick will do anything to protect. This couple worked just right for me from the start and following their journey to falling in love and forever mates was an absolute delight – and effectively got me hooked on this series.
If you love a lone wolf romance, if a touch of danger is your thing if watching a love story unfold before your eyes will always make you misty-eyed — then check out ‘Tempting the Wild Wolf’ and the ‘Seneca Falls Shifters’ series, you’ll be hooked, too.

Nick has inherited 1/3 of a resort along with a brother and sister he had never known about. He's grown up as a wild wolf with very little connection with others. Mandy works for her father's plumbing business and is working at the resort. She was emotionally hurt a year previously and has sworn off men. She knows about shifters since Nick's sister, Berkeley, had to shift when the girls were in their teens to protect Mandy. When she meets Nick, sparks fly. Nick knows she is his mate but is conflicted about telling her, thinking she would be better off without him. Mandy is drawn to Nick but is concerned he is going to leave town. Evil comes their way from a very influential shifter that wants to own the resort using any means possible. The story was entertaining and held my interest. I loved the banter between Nick and Mandy - they were great together. Little Bear was also a favorite of mine. I also enjoyed watching Nick get closer to others and grow emotionally. He was such a sweetheart even though he had a gruff side. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
TRUE TEMPTATION!!! Man, talk about meeting in the worst way. If you're looking for an action packed, fast paced, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, page turning delight that grabs your attention from start to finish. A rollercoaster ride of emotions and events that really pulls those heartstrings. All the drama, uncertainty, fear, mystery, danger and suspense increases while tension spirals. Twists and turns abound with unexpected circumstances that make for one thrilling experience. The two main characters chemistry is intense and palpable. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Rayna really nailed this bad boy 100% on point with such insight and imagination it bringing this read roaring to life brilliantly. Remarkable job Rayna, thanks for sharing this little gem with us.
Plumber Mandy is repairing a leaky pipe when she hears a growling behind her. When Mandy's father hurts his leg she take over his jobs one of which was to renovate the plumbing at the Seneca Falls Resort. She was repairing a leaky pipe under the bathroom sink in one of the cabins when she hears a growling behind her when she turns around she sees a man with two fangs and claws extending from his fingertips making her realizes he is a shifter. Nick wakes up and becomes aware of someone being in the cabin so he goes to find them but what he fins will shock him. Bending under the bathroom sink is a woman and when he catches a whiff of her scent he knows she is his mate but how can that be when half breeds like him don't have mates

Nick Pearson, a wolf-shifter with a wild wolf heritage, does not believe he will ever settle down - but had promised his sister to try to stay for 1 year. He had not expected that his wolf would react to Mandy, his sister's best - human - friend in such an unusual way and recognizing her as his mate. A typical love story? Yes, and no. Interwoven with the story is a mystery/crime story, as the sibling's resort is facing vandalism and threats. A nice balance of the two threads, interesting and entertaining, well-written throughout. Nick knew Mandy was his mate the first time he saw her. The story from there involves treachery, intimidation, kidnapping, and attempted murder. The characters were all strong and vivid, especially Bear. This is my first time with this author and I absolutely will be watching for more books from her. Really good read.

Great Wolf Shifter Romance! Engaging, fast-paced romance with suspense, intrigue, and drama thrown into the mix. Sweet and sassy heroine meets dark, brooding hero. Great well developed characters, interesting storyline, steamy romance make a wonderful combination for the beginning of this series. I look forward to reading more. Enjoy!

Nick was always a loner because he is a wild wolf. He is uncomfortable being in crowds and around other people except for his brother and sister. One day Nick found Mandy working on his bathroom sink and his wolf recognized her as being their mate. Things get interesting! Mandy gets kidnapped and Nick his family and their friends have to rescue her before it is too late.
Mandy is a plumber working for her father and she is asked to work at the Mystic Mountain Resort helping out with renovations. The cabin she walks into has a hot and sexy man in it, she was told the cabins were all empty. Turns out Mr. hot and sexy is one of the owners of the resort. I loved this story, the characters were amazing and the story is original. This book has everything you want. A great story by Rayna Tyler.

I like this one. At first it is a little tense because of the wolf. Then when they get to know one another better they have some fun. Then things get crazy Mandy gets taken and Nick and his wolf have to protect her. Very good story. I enjoyed it very much. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
This is an enjoyable series opener and makes me anxious for more to come! Take a lone wolf and throw in a feisty plumber, that has had her self esteem kicked to the curb by her ex, and you end up with a story full of sizzling chemistry, witty banter and steam. This one also has suspense, danger, mystery and twists. It was a thoroughly entertaining reading ride!

A new series called Seneca Falls Shifters a well written story that kept me turning pages. Tempting the Wolf Wolf is book 1 of Rayna Tyler's Seneca Falls series. The characters are great. The idea of finding an adult sibling you didn't know you had and forming a family is intriguing. Throw in a shady shifter, threats and a mate you have a wonderful story.
Wolf Bound by Kayleigh King H-Nick- inherited a resort with his sister/brother he didn’t know existed h- Mandy- Plummer I think this had a lot of potential but it really felt short. It was too predictable, not original at all & super short. The sex scenes were nonexistent. I didn’t like it at all. I think my favorite character is the puppy named Bear 😍🥰
I wondered how someone hadn't tried to take the smarmy bastard out, how obnoxious he was. I knew Nick was going to do some serious damage once he got the men that tried to harm his mate. Mandy should have let Nick scare her ex a little more.
Mandy is afraid to love again. Nick is afraid to make roots. The first time they meet is hysterical. The dog is cute. The love story was beautiful. The action was good. I ready enjoyed the ending. This was a good story.
