Among the somewhat limited selection of micro-macrame books this one is a stand-out. The projects are varied and go far beyond the usual simple friendship bracelet variations. The structure of the book is typical to the 'how-to' style with the first sections covering supplies including covering a clipboard and basic knots. One curiosity is the author refers to the commonly identified square knot as a flat knot. The illustrations are great and numbered to match the step-by-step instructions. My only quibble is that sometimes they don't take advantage of the clear numbering and simply say "Repeat this sequence twice more." rather than saying repeat steps 20 through 23. Another quibble is the G E N E R O U S amounts of cord that are recommended for most of the projects; far more than needed. That alone causes issues with knotting and tangling not to mention pulling them over, through and around each other. Other than that, this is a book I'd gladly have in my private collection.
