About the author

I’ve always been a book nerd, reading whatever I could get my hands on. Then one day, I decided to throw my hat in the ring of writing; it was the best decision I ever made. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember but never thought in a million years I’d find the courage to publish until 2019. In 2019, I published two books under a different pen name (Rennie Rivera). But soon, my writing style and author ego evolved. This pull to the phoenix, with so much with all I have endured throughout life, so it was only fitting to make that a part of my new pen name. Ember evolved from my being a natural ginger and how no matter what, my inner flame never really burns out, always at least a smoldering ember just waiting for the moment I can burn bright.
I have battled many trials and tribulations over the years but have always risen from the ashes of chaos, stronger and more confident.
You'll find a little of me in every story you read. Whether in the lead hero or the supporting role, I can relate to many of my characters. I've found a love of the paranormal and write more in that world than any other. I want to give you characters you can relate to and/or just fall in love with because of their bravery and courage. I love the idea of magic and shapeshifting as well as dabbling in many of the lore.
With the love and support of my friends and family, I’m living my dream every day. I've met some amazing people, both authors and readers along the way. I’m thankful to every one of them and all they’ve taught me as well as continue to teach me. Jealousy is a fickle bitch but what's worse is how that piece of shit fucker treated her but paybacks a bitch!! Marcel may have a issue but it won't let him down from doing his job but this job is special and surprising!!
