Chloe's Burke's boss is embezzling. No. Her boss was embezzling. He's in SEC cuffs now and Chloe is blacklisted from ever working as a fundraiser in the city again. Cherry on top is her boyfriend dumping her and kicking her out in one swoop. Now she's sharing a bathroom with her older brother, Jamie, and raising tens of dollars for a cat she knows.

Jamie's best friend, Nick Williams is a hero. That's what Chloe calls him at least. He feels like a villain since every time she's around his thoughts are not platonic, not even close. But Nick like's being Chloe's hero and offering her a job- it's the right thing to do.

Kissing her is not.

Sneaking around behind her brother's back is not.
