The best part of a new relationship is discovering one another and learning how to expose yourselves. And that's exactly what I have planned for my vacation in Palermo with Alfonso. I don't care about the beach, the tourist traps, or even relaxing by the pool. The only thing that matters is that strangled sound Alfonso makes just before he begs me to give him what he needs.
Alfonso
I am not ready.

Katrina is a seasoned spinster with an active imagination, a love of romcoms and a keenly critical nature. She's a college professor by day who writes romances by...weekend. Right now she also happens to be on summer vacation. She enjoys yogurt, sparkling water and her three cats, who don't appreciate her love.
This short is a fun filthy read. Zoe and Alfonso taking some time off after the big to do, spending the time mostly naked and having sex, while Zoe helps Alfonso reveal some kinks. Along the way an old frenemy shows up to keep an eye of Alfonso, which makes for some fun for them all.
To sum up the relationship with Zoe and Alfonso I present you with this quote "I personally believe that any man I’m with should wake up with me on their mind and then, fairly quickly after, me on their face."
Friends this is a short erotica, these two are on vacation trying have sex as much as possible. There might be someone trying to kill them so yeah the point is let's keep banging bc time is limited. Poor Alfonso just needs to invest in dark color slanks bc he's steady making a mess.
CN: voyeurism, I'm not quite sure if Pedro is considered stalking or surveillance but it's creepy, hacking
As short as this story was, it was a STRUGGLE to finish it. Admittedly, I picked this solely because of the cover combined with the name. Dolor means hurt/pain and the cover clearly depicted a woman in love (flowers are universal symbols of love in my book). Add in the universal happily ever after, my interest was immediately piqued. The author/synopsis promised it was a stand alone and no prior knowledge was needed to follow along. This was extremely true. But maybe had I read one of the other stories I would’ve skipped this altogether. I’m not a fan of mafia/mafioso type genres, they always contain unnecessary violence that just makes little sense to advance the plot. Was there violence in this? Not at all, but you have no idea how I kept wishing there was something, anything, to help with the entertainment factor here. Basically it’s a story of how a boy met a girl, instant attraction, let’s forsake everything and give each other a week to see where it all goes.. no questions asked, loads of sex, real life creeps in and then they ultimately choose one another. BORING and utterly predictable. The pain thing is just an allusion to their kink which I clocked early on when she kept ordering him around. Read it and will not even consider reading anything else from this series or author.
This book is for the voyeurs. Those that want a peak into what embracing your kink is like and how it can look when you have a partner that helps you learn more about your sexuality. Zoe and Alfonso are on the other side of the drama that filled the last book. Zoe wants just 1 week to vacation and enjoy each other before Alfonso has to go back to work. Alfonso understands that there isn’t really a vacation from their world but he’s willing to do anything for Zoe. “Dolore” is purely hedonistic and you will either love it or not. After reading the rest of the series, it seems fitting that it would end with this novella full of animalistic pleasure and sexy sexiness.
This was not a story. This was porn personified. So much so it took away from what little story there was. If this is your thing then have at it. But it wasn't my cup of tea. I stopped at 35%
Once again Katrina Jackson speaks to me with this amazing short from her Mafia world. I'm so glad these stories continue. In this installment Zoe and Alfonso continue to explore their shared kinks while Alfonso juggles the consequences of his job.
This hints here and the epilogue in the last book make me really excited to see what this author has planned next. Also, this was so much fun. I think it’s because of the amount of banter and tension that was still present in the relationship compared to it going away in the other two
we're visiting alfonso and zoe again and we start where we stopped off w the two of them super into each other but acting like they're not. this only on vacay fling soon becomes a forecer fling. dolore is full of sexy times and swoony times.
Zoe and Alfonso take a sexy vacation. And, Pedro observes. And then catches the attention of Zoe's friend KeKe? I guess book six isn't the end. That's wonderful news.
