The idea of this book/ series is so creative! How the two MC’s met is something I didn’t know I needed.

okay, so i'm not typically a paranormal romance reader, but Kassie had me HOOKED from the first page with this one omgomgomgomg.
This story was so well and the details were just enough so you understand everything and wont get confused.

Cress is kidnapped and sacrificed, but the demon they have summoned is going to take care of her, protect her at all cost. Cress also instantly felt a sense of familiarity and safeness with him present. There isn't one part of this story that drags on and feels boring. (well, you will want more once you're finished because it was just that good and I'm already itching to get book 2 in my hands!)

This is an arc review but all opinions are my own.
Wow this was such a great novella, it had a great about of plot that was so well developed that it felt like a full length book. The smut was amazing and I loved the sex positive vibe the book gave throughout. The back and forth and banter between all the characters was great to. I’m so hooked that I can’t wait for the next books in this series! Would definitely recommend!

Where can I buy someone like that… Cress was someone who seemed weak and innocent but turned out to be one of the strongest people on earth like YES GIRL!!!! Balthazar could kill me and I’d say thank you…. That man is just *chefs kiss*. I really wanted their story to be longer hopefully we get to read more about them!!!

Lamb by @kindakassiee ARC review
Once again girl you knocked it out of the park! I was hooked as soon as I started reading this. Once I started reading this I could not put it down because I needed to know what was going to happen next.
Cress is in school and she finds herself becoming a sacrifice to a demon. What she doesn't expect is when he comes to feel safe in his presence. Balthazar is supposed to kill her but he feels the need to keep her safe. He doesn't want to actually kill her but he wants to protect her and keep her safe.
I do not have enough words to express how much I loved this book. The story of Cress and Balthazar was just beautiful and I loved every minute of it. I loved reading how Cress started to figure out her powers and how to use them. Let me just say the sex scenes between Balthazar and Cress were just chef's kiss! But once you add in Alister it got so hot in here I needed multiple glasses of water. I need more of all of them.

folk tale. Butttt there's a lot more to Cress than even she
knows. As soon as the swoony Balthazar lays eyes on the
sacrifice he knows he'll be taking her just maybe not in
the sense the other students were hoping.

what the hell (😉) this was way better than i could’ve ever imagined!!
from the moment cass & balthazar meet in the first pages i was instantly hooked.
the plot was so interesting i refused to set it down!
& let’s not leave behind the fact that the smut scenes were so well written… ooof.
very excited for the next book to be released & to continue the story of the two mates🤭
but what really peaked my interest is to learn that the last book in this series will be aleister’s novel… AHH!

What can I say other than again Kassie killed it with another great book It’s absolutely amazing I’m not really into paranormal fantasy books but this blew it out of the water it was so amazing it kept you interested and made me want more I can’t wait for the other books to come out it just is so good I love it so much definitely top read for this year

K.L is literally the reason I started a good reads back when she released her first book. I don’t do social media at all, but I’ve been reading romance for years and one of the first BookTok videos I saw was hers.
Her writing has truly truly blossomed since her first book and this one, this SERIES, as a whole is going to be my favorite, I can just tell. I devoured it in a few hours, loving every second of the story and the seeds planted for future book. I definitely recommend reading the Tombstone books first purely because it feels like seeing old friends when the characters pop up. But it can also totally be read alone.
There is some HEAT HEAT HEAT in this book. Like I was WARM reading some of these scenes. I don’t want to give away any spoilers. I may add to my review after the release! Overall, Cress was a SUPER enjoyable FMC and Balthazar was so dang precious. I love alllllll of these characters!

One again K.L Mann did an amazing job with this book.
Paranormal/fantasy is my SHIT and she definitely changed it up from what most authors do Which made me love everything even more.
Now let’s talk real quick about the characters.
Cress is a BADDIE. Hands down. If I was in her shoes I wouldn’t have handled everything that happened to her as well as she did from the beginning.
Hot scary demon Poppin up for a sacrifice by some crazy ass satan worshipers like NOPE.
I’d probably pass out from the adrenaline rush that I clearly wouldn’t be able handle.
( let’s not act like ill actually ever get the chance to be taken by a Sexy ass demon but whatever )
But Cress is an amazing character and it was awesome watching her grow as a character. Hands down one of my fav fantasy/paranormal characters that K.L Mann has written.
Balthazar - do I even need to say?

I love K.L Mann!

Her witty comebacks when she was trying to be used as a sacrifice was honestly so damn funny. Then we have Balthazar who was summoned by the weirdos and took an instant liking to Cress. Surprise surprise they’re mates and we’re definitely made for each other.
The story follows along the plot of both of these characters trying to figure out what type of power she has hidden inside of her. I loved getting to see the characters from Tombstone and seeing their relationship blossom with the added drama with the archangels.
The epilogue had me SHOOK and I hope we get to see more on that in book 2 in this series.
ALSO PATIENTLY WAITING FOR A BOOK THAT FINALLY SHOWS ALL THREE OF THEM ENDING UP TOGETHER 😭

thank god the author added character info at the beginning because i would of been lost as heck 😂 i really liked this story. i didn’t see a lot of things coming which i love in books like yes keep me on my toes what is happening next?! because then I’m reading page after page so dang fast I’m in a trance. did wish some of the smut scenes were a little bit longer i love details 😅 & also i went into this blind so i didn’t expect the insta love i like when the characters have that tension build up however it was still a fun read.

I went in blind and it was not what I thought it was going to be. I had no idea that this was a demon/goddess story. This book is pretty much an introduction to what the rest will be about. This has insta-love and fated mates right off and then it’s just love/love/love through it all. With a little bit of plot thrown in. Oh and a three-way with the best friend. I was just bored. Need more plot to it.

This book was good. Not my favorite, but it wasn’t bad. Until like very end, but you’ll see for yourself.
Pros: quick read, good smut, easy world building

This book really took the whole "touch her/him and ill kill you" to the next level and it was delightful!!
I absolutely loved the set up of how these two met and all the side characters were super interesting as well so I'll be sure to read the rest in this series at some point!

Absolutely loved this plot. Witches, Demons, Angels & more condemned creatures with elemental powers! 😏 Insta-love and very fast paced. I was not expecting that epilogue but it does put an interesting twist to what’s to come.

5 ⭐️ K.L Mann has done it again! I ate this book up so fast.
I couldn't get enough of these characters! Honestly I think they are some of my favorites she's ever written, which is saying a lot because of my immense love for the Vitales 😍. Cress was relatable and witty. Watching her progression throughout the story was amazing. Balthazar is so hot, point blank period. I would've taken his hand without a doubt. 😂 These characters possessive and caring nature over one another is so cute! I'm pretty sure they put a smile on my face the whole time. 😊 As for Aleister 🥵👀 i'm really interested to see what else he has in store for us. I'm addicted to say the least.

I was really hoping that aleister, balthazar, and cressenda would come together in one relationship.... I feel like their chemistry was undeniable and quite frankly I would have loved to see it. im hoping in the future or (in ten years like jace said) they do end up together... that somehow the fate makes all three of them mates?? idk but i need more of them. the ending was adorable although I was quite sad to see that aleister wasn't there for it. overall this was so lovely and I loved the cameos of all the other couples, it's very rare that I find a book series where I love all the characters but so far this one hasnt disappointed me on that front. cannot wait for the other full length novels to come out where we get to see all our faves again.

I was unprepared & waiting for book 2 might quite literally make me panic. but I cannot wait for what is to come next with all these characters!!

This is definitely my favorite KL Mann book! First and foremost I’m a slut for demons. Give me a demon who is a complete simp for his girl and I’m sold.
This is a nice quick spicy read but there is definitely a continuing plot that she has created for this series and I’m very excited to see where it goes.
The mix of magic and romance was perfect and nothing felt lacking on either side.
What happens when a demon saves you from being sacrificed? You’ll just have to read to find out. 😈

Happy Release Day! It’s currently 3:30am and I’ve finally calmed my nerves enough to sleep. With every publication, I’m hit with an OVERWHELMING lack of confidence as soon as I put it out into the world. However the responses already have been warming my heart.
