Vampires, Wolfs Oh My!!
I love love this series so hard!! I’m a paranormal crazy person and this series and all of the characters are so darn real that you just wanna find you a vampire or a wolf of your own. Lol, seriously V.P. Nightshade has paranormal down pat! Only bad thing is the book has to end. No kidding if you are a vamp or wolf lover at all you will definitely love the Vampiris Bloodline series.

Sometimes love doesn't happen the way we like to think about in books and movies. Sometimes its not 'instant', sometimes its a choice, sometimes its painful and hard, sometimes its messy, sometimes the only people who want it to happen are the only two people who feel it, and sometimes it doesn't work out the way you wanted at all. Sometimes loving someone selflessly is the hardest thing in the world.
This is book 4 of the Vampiris Bloodline and presents another Tsoukalous Vampire Family member: Zachary Sutton. As known from previous books, Zachary is human and a former police detective, who has some supernatural qualities such as: preternatural speed and strength, and a photographic memory. Like most of the characters in the series, he loves his family; and though he loves his vampire family, he has given up much for them and the vampire world. Even though he now lives surrounded by vampires, shifters and companions, because he is different, because he is human, he basically exists on his own small island in a sea of supernaturals. Looking at the supernatural world through his viewpoint as a human, the reader learns many new things about the world, and the other characters in the series.
Book 4 is a transition novella and occurs between the last chapter and epilogue of Book 3. It answers the questions of "What the hell happened at the Shifter Conclave? Did the shifters find their mates? What's going on with the hunters? What about Castor and Katja? How the hell did Devin and Anisa end up pregnant?" and so much more.
Book 4 is full of Easter Eggs for the next books in the series! So, though it is a novella, don't speed read it or you will miss out! There is a lot of information in this short read.
It is also the beginning of the shifter stories for the shifter characters, so it develops the world and rules of our shifter characters and reveals some surprising information about shifter dynamics, some information about Alphas, what it means to be an Alpha, and the transfer of power in a pack. It also introduces the thought on Shifter-Vampire personal and physical relationships and how both communities view those relationships, and of course, there is a revelation about fated mates and how the different species feel about and react to encountering their fated mate.
There are some trigger warnings that I need to mention for this book. 1. It opens with a sex scene. Of course it is a Vampire-Shifter book, so it features incidents of: MA18+ Content, DubCon, and Language, Violence, Blood, Gore, Angst, Betrayal, Assassination Attempts – if any of these bothers you, do not read this book!
Each book in this series is designed to be different from the last, and this book is! But, as always the characters sometimes make you laugh, sometimes make you cry, sometimes make you mad, but always make you wish you had such a person in your life that loves you the way these characters love.

Gobbled every word like it was a meal. Couldn’t get enough of the characters as well as, the storyline. Intrigued, by the author and their form of storytelling. Both kept me in a rapacious state definitely bringing an end to my ennui. Thank you for that and please continue writing! ( I’m so addicted !)

Loved It
I absolutely loved this Novella. My heart ached for Zachary. He had loved and lost. He let fate and love determine the outcome. He accepted fate’s decision at a great personal loss to himself. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him and his HEA and the rest of the Tsoukalous family and friends.

This novella dealt primarily with the younger vampires and shifters and their trials and tribulations. There wasn’t a lot of new reveals but helped round out their various personalities.
I have a pretty good idea why Ragnar thought Zachary smelled so good but won’t give it away here.
