Jackson Decker - he is the perfect husband. The perfect father to my son. The perfect man. Fierce, loyal, protective and everything I’ve ever wanted.
I’m happier than I ever imagined possible, but happiness is never easily won for people like me. Somebody, somewhere wants to ruin what we have, and to do that they’re willing to risk the wrath of the entire Montoya family.
Because the only problem with having it all, is the people who are waiting to take it all from you. When the lines between love and obsession are blurred, how do we know who we can trust?
As old enemies resurface and family ties are tested to their very limits, who will come out on top?
Fierce Obsession will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. Full of tension and steam. It is book 4 in the LA Ruthless series, featuring the Montoya crime family.
Publishers note: This is a dark Mafia romance which features dark themes that some may find disturbing, including extreme violence and scenes of a sexual nature.
I'm a bestselling author of dark mafia, billionaire, and paranormal romance. I love to read and write about hot, filthy talking alphas that would burn the world down for the women they love.

♡ Thoughts
The Decker couple is back! Even stronger and hotter than before! Fierce Obsession is the second one in Lucia and Jax's Duet and the final installment to the series, L.A Ruthless series. This book revolves around Jax and Lucia as they entered into the new chapter of their life. They explored and learns new things about each other as they are married now. Lucia development is the best throughout the whole book! How she picked herself up to become this strong woman although she sometimes feels insecure. I love her seeing her grow. I love how understanding and open Jax is towards his wife's needs. He always listens and never makes her feel as if she isn't enough. I absolutely adore their relationship. I am glad he was able to make this relationship work even though Lucia's father and his best friend, Alejandro Montoya, was not accepting it. I love his devotion and loyalty towards Alejandro. This book is super spicy! So this might not be for everyone. I would honestly read anything Sadie Kincaid has to serve so it was not surprising that l loved this book more than I expected too. I love the epilogue we get from all sides. The father-son bond, Jax has with Lucia's son will forever have my heart.

LA Ruthless book four A dark Mafia. Lucia Montoya and Jax Decker are now Mr & Mrs, So in love, and ready for a life together always. This book is way hot, hot, hot, you won't want it to end. A fabulous book once again from this author for her readers, the full volume will just take your breath away, and was happy that Alejandro and Alana was also added into the story I'm sad to see the end but happily ever after for this gorgeous pair. it got my 5 stars.
Out of the 3 books, this makes the top. Jax has been my favorite since he was first introduced. I felt this book showed the characters on a more intimate level in terms of secrets they’ve been hiding/not facing. AND THE SEX 🥵 This is by far the spiciest with a rank of 🌶🌶🌶🌶/5. Overall, I enjoyed the plot!
Loved Fierce Obsession! 🔥 Jackson and Lucia’s story was intense, emotional, and full of passion. Sadie Kincaid really knows how to blend love, danger, and loyalty perfectly! 📖
I’m just going to write my review right now at the 54% mark knowing getting through the rest of this will annoy me. This is marginally better than Book 3 but not by much.
I’m choosing now to right this review because Lucia is responding to this blackmail situation like the child she swears she’s not. And as most FMC she’ll get away with throwing a ridiculous tantrum but the MMC will end up being the one to apologize. That always annoys me.
Jax is doing his best to figure this blackmail situation out and Lucia is whining and pushing him away. If I was him I would say “fck you” to Alejandro for even thinking Jax would set his own wife up like that and I’d put Lucia on timeout and let her think about how ridiculous she’s acting and sounding. Instead of standing up for herself AND her husband she’s crying and of course she’s going to be coddled through it. I’m assuming they’ll leave Jax to figure this out on his own and won’t even apologize for abandoning him. Instead of Alejandro saying Jax doesn’t deserve Lucia it seems they don’t deserve him because he’s been loyal. But the first sign of trouble they both think the worst of him. Smh.
Well I guess I’ll see how this plays out but I’m annoyed.
UPDATE: Made it to the 87% mark and safe to say I’m very confused. This blackmail scheme is so beyond confusing. I don’t know which way is up. And I love a good blackmail and mystery but I can’t keep up with this one AT ALL. Also, this story became less about Jax and Lucia and more about Alana and Alejandro. If that’s the case this whole series could’ve been a long game with those two and Jax and Lucia not needing a book OR it could’ve been a novella for them.
….and it’s finished so I stand by the last paragraph in this review and this easily could’ve just been an Alana & Alejandro series. Jax is definitely a winner but we could’ve done without it but I also say he’s cute with Lucia though. And their family is adorable.
Book: Fierce Obsession Author: Sadie Kincaid Recommend: Yes Spice: 🌶️️ 🌶️️ 🌶️️ Age recommendation: 16-30+ Years
My feelings:
Is there anything I would not read by Sadie Kincaid? Nope nothing I love it all. I have not once picked up one of her books and been disappointed.
And as if I wasn’t already enough of a trembling mess today, he wraps his little arms around my neck, presses his lips to my ear and whispers. “Don’t worry, Dad. I got you.”
Jackson and Lucia story is really cute! And super Romantic.
“The first time I come inside my wife, it won’t be in her mouth. Stand up, baby.”
I love how the story was done. I love age gap romance. It always sweet seeing how people move past it and how its addressed.
“Yes. If it was up to me, I’d toss those birth control pills you’re taking down the toilet and have you knocked up before this honeymoon is over.”
I also loved getting the POV of Alejandro and Alana as well, and the little epilog at the end. I also love when they throw in the Ryan brothers and Jessie!
“Who do you belong to, Luce?” “You, Jax. Only you.”
How good would a all out war save with them all involved together! I mean just saying…..
“Something about fucking you and knowing that I could be getting you pregnant makes me feel like a fucking animal, baby. I want to fill you so full of my cum that your pussy is bursting with it.”
Highly Recommend this book series and anything Sadie Kincaid writes:)

Okay okay. The series ended nicely. There was more plot in this book than any of the others. I would say 60% sex 40% plot. I didn’t love the whole Toni thing. makes me feel kinda icky. Some people are creeps. Don’t love shannon even if she didn’t have anything to do with it. The time line is kinda confusing in these books. Not gonna lie. Still good though. If you want to read a mafia book series with A LOT of sex this series is perfect for you.
What a great conclusion of this series. I really enjoyed the story and Alejandro and Alana makes an appearance in this book, which was nice. Lucia had a moment of doubt and insecureness that made me want to reach inside the book and bitchslap her to next week because of her behavior towards Jax. He did not deserve her attitude and behavior - at all! So their relationship have their ups and downs - as all relationships but there is so much more to the story than meets the eye. We get a happily ever after, after some curve balls and interesting moments, we get a little bit of a glimpse to Alejandro and Alanas HEA also - which was a nice way of rounding up the story and the loose threads in the storyline. I really enjoyed this series. But I honestly preferred Lucia and Jackson's story over Alejandro and Alanas story. I liked Alejandro more and more over the books, but in the first book I still didn't love him the way I do now.
Jackson Decker just does something to my mom heart. He is so sweet as a (step) dad navigating the ins and outs for the relationship, especially considering his own childhood experiences. I love watching the relationships continue to blossom and healing happen amongst trust moments. Also, let's be honest, there are some really spicy moments that are so good. As always, there is trauma mixed into Sadie's work, but also some great moments of redemption and finding healing.
This was just the perfect way to tie all the books to an close. Jax is by far my favourite in the whole series and this book really got into who he is and what his story is about.
All characters within this series are beautifully written and honestly I have laughed out loud with every book.
The final in this series was beautiful and such a happy ending for all. You really don’t want to put this down when you start and it is such an easy read. Much love for this series ❤️🤌🏼
I liked that the plot/drama also included the parents. I liked the ending and how it came full circle from book 1. I didn’t really care for the quick drama between Lucia and Jax where she instantly didn’t believe him but I’m happy she went right after him. At times Lucia is either a tough badass or comes across as immature so I never really connected with her liked I wanted. It was a sweet ending for both couples.
Lucia and Jax got married and are on their honeymoon in Texas. Everything is going smoothly when their world comes crashing down (and they have only been married for a week).
Lucia’s father, Alejandro is being blackmailed with pictures of Lucia, and at the same time Jax’s father is in the hospital from being jump by a group of guys and everything is pointing towards Jax.
LOVED! So many twists and turns. I absolutely love the universe Sadie has created and love how all the different series intertwines. This book was amazing. Great spice. Great plot. Great everything. Gave closure of the LA Ruthless too!! Everything was wrapped up with a neat bow.
Again, the family dynamic made this better and the scene with Toni, Jax and Lucia? Chef's fucking kiss! I loved the ending and still...Alejandro is king! haha
Sooooo bad. My god I swear sadie kincaid desperately wanted a child when writing this book. MMC constantly pressures FMC into knocking her up, wanting to throw out her birthcontrol. Girl finally got pregnant, in month 8 he talks about knocking her up again. Give her a break damn. Possibly the unsexiest MMC everrrr. Don‘t do this to yourself..
I was bored. Either it isn't as good as the others in the series or my taste has changed.
It was so badly written, full of cheesy clichés that I found it really hard to actually enjoy the spice. The spice itself was only okay....their wasn't even tension in the relationship to make it exciting. Everything was way too perfect and I will always prefer Alana and Alex who had a bit more to their characters.
Oh my! Sadie gave us our cake and let us eat it too. Fierce Obsession is the 4th book in the L.A. Ruthless Series with a focus on Jax and Lucia.
The story starts out with their wedding and their honeymoon. Then someone decides they need to try to mess with their happy ending. Then walks in the King of L.A. himself-Alejandro Montoya (who himself is hotter than fire) to save not only his daughter Lucia but also his best friend Jax.
About half of the book is focused solely on Jax and Lucia and the other half is focused on the Montoya/Decker Families. (Jax and Alejandro have always considered themselves brothers and family. Then Jax and Lucia got married and they really became family).
I loved that Jax and Lucia for their happy ending. I may have loved more than Alex and Alanna were involved in the last book as well.
"Sadie Kincaid" is a captivating novel that follows the journey of its eponymous heroine as she navigates the complexities of life and personal growth. The story expertly blends elements of drama, romance, and mystery, keeping readers engaged from start to finish. Sadie is a well-crafted character, relatable and strong, making her personal trials and triumphs deeply impactful. The author's writing is clear and evocative, painting vivid scenes and emotions. While the plot sometimes treads familiar ground, the fresh perspective and emotional depth ensure a rewarding read. Overall, "Sadie Kincaid" is an enjoyable book that offers both entertainment and introspection.
I struggled a little to get into this one. I feel like there was mostly smut in this one, but i mean we start off with their honeymoon so what do we expect. Plus if you're ready Sadie Kincaid, you know most of the book will be hot filthy sex. Which i love. I mean no one has a dirtier mouth than these mafia men. This was for sure my least favorite in the series, I kind of felt like it dragged on a little.
1. The blackmail thing was so lame I’m ngl. The book is set in the mafia world then make it more dangerous pls. 2. Lucia is a grownup not a baby but she honestly doesn’t know how to handle things for real. 3. Just like the 3rd book, sex scenes are cringe
So I’m 17% into the book and I think it’s really weird how he is low-key pressing her and it honestly rubs me the wrong way like he told his aunt how to spare room in their house was for a nursery and she was like yeah it’s just not seem like yeah basically say like you won’t have nieces or nephews soon, right then he’s just laughed about it saying like yeah bitch please we’re gonna have kids soon which is annoying then it’s like I honestly kind of feel like he pressured her into getting off birth control as well cause like I said she literally didn’t wanna have kids so soon, but he was like oh I want kids I want to see you pregnant like I want a nursery yada yada yada that shit is irritating as fuck. I’m not gonna lie.
There is a mod of smile in this book and fears betrayal I’m not even gonna lie to you guys so if you guys don’t like freaky ass bugs, this is not for you.
And also another thing that I would say about this book that actually irritates me it also happened in fears betrayal as well I am really irritates me is when the FMC try’s to make the MMC have a relationship with his father, when he clearly does not want to it really irritates me because she does not know the full story and she tries to push him in order to have a relationship with his father, and he clearly doesn’t want to. It’s so fucking annoying for example when he was at the bar and he got beat up and Jack’s was like it’s typical that he’s at the bar and Lucia was like oh well you don’t know that he was drinking yada yada yada like bitch with the fuck else with this Knigge doing at the fucking bar but no one the way that author is right their books 8 times out of 10 he probably was actually meeting a date, but yeah that shit is annoying as fuck like bitch you’re aggy as hell
One thing that I do not like about the whole blackmail situation is how Lucia would literally not let Jackson explain himself nor would her father like seeing it from her perspective. OK I kinda do get it because if I saw photos of my new husband and a random girl together in the dates has four weeks ago or four days ago, I would’ve been pissed as well. I’m not gonna lie but girl you know you’re mad at some big man you know people want to kill him, but why wouldn’t you just hear him out because how easily those photos could’ve been fake like bitch don’t irritate me like that shit really avoid the fuck out of me. I’m not gonna lie, but yeah, then he had to fly back to Dallas by himself to go see his father that was in a hospital bed and you couldn’t even fucking say bye bitch like duh I get it. You’re not don’t give me wrong. I would’ve been pissed too, but the least I would’ve done it said bye to my husband, knowing all the shit that’s going on that was very rude and very inconsiderate of her. I truly felt so bad for him. He did not deserve that.
So it took me approximately four or five days to finish this book in the beginning it was so hard for me to focus my attention on the book and all honesty I think, though it was only me, but for some reason, I literally could not focus on the book, but I finish the last 300 pages in just a few hours! and honestly, it was good in the middle in the end. It got way better in my opinion, but another complaint that I would say about the book is I don’t like how Jackson always talked about knocking her up. It was kind of weird to me lol cause me personally I feel like he didn’t say it in the loving way, but he said it as if it was a threat if you get what I’m saying like instead of saying, “oh I can’t wait to expand our family”. “I can’t wait to have more kids with you” yada yada yada he was like “I’m gonna get you pregnant as soon as possible” and “I can’t wait to knock you up again.” Which in my personal opinion, I don’t really think that’s loving like I said is hounded more as a threat lol as if they were just a fling or something and not a married couple.
Overall, the beginning of the book it was really hard for me to read it for some reason it could just not keep my attention in the book is fairly short, less than 300 pages and it took me almost a whole week to read it, which is bizarre cause normally I would read less than 300 pages in just a few hours, but the beginning boring to me. In my opinion the middle of the end though it got way better way more entertaining and it was just better overall I’d probably give the book a 4.5 and I feel like that is a high score for the amount of times that I have complained during this book ha ha ha but I promise it’s actually a good book oh and one I think I would also say the smut in this book is fucking insane. It is literally so much so if that’s not your thing I look you would not recommend recommended cause it’s an insane amount, but the book itself is good like when you skip those pages and stuff.

Fiercely Obsessed with Jax Decker? Too right, I am!
Well, I’ve been waiting to read this final instalment to the LA Ruthless Series and it was most definitely worth the wait. This book is everything I needed it to be and with an ending that made me feel all warm and tingly, I can safely say that the LA Ruthless characters have imprinted themselves on my book-worm heart forever.
If you haven’t already read the previous instalments, you definitely must… and while you’re at it, the Ryan Rules series is also a must (but make sure you have an open mind and a kinky soul for the sexy Irish mafia guys… you’ll need it!)
Sadie Kincaid has a way of creating characters that we really shouldn’t love, but can’t help falling for. I mean, they are literally ruthless mafia gangsters who have their own style of justice but I can’t help but adore them.
Jax Decker is just the most dangerously delicious guy and one serious alpha male specimen. Smart, sadistic yet sweeter-than-sweet, this man is all heart when it comes to those he loves, but a monster towards anyone who dares to threaten or hurt his family. The fierce protection he provides for his wife and child is so precious that it leaves you feeling all warm and gooey inside despite knowing that he is capable of literally ripping his enemies to shreds without a flicker of remorse.
As for his wife, Montoya Mafia boss daughter, Lucia - well she’s a real contradiction. In many ways she’s sweet and innocent, a real angel in Jax’s dark world. But there’s also a fire in her that is befitting for the adopted daughter of the King of LA, Alejandro Montoya. She has the family legacy to uphold until her baby brothers are old enough to take the reins and lead the way.
Further cementing herself in her fathers footsteps, she goes and falls deeply in love with her fathers right hand man and best friend, Jax and as much as her father hates to admit it, there’s no better man to take care of his daughter and his grandson.
Everything is going perfectly as the newlyweds embark on their new life together but when a series of disturbing events appear to target their family, it becomes apparent that not everyone is happy with the strengthening of the Montoya family and whoever is behind the scheming attacks, seek to pull it apart.
As the threats to their happiness continue Jax and Lucia find themselves in a desperate situation. They need to find whoever is responsible, shut them down and make them pay. And who better for this kind of job than the expert, Jax.
This book very cleverly weaves the plot right from the first two books into this final story. And when the culprit is revealed it leaves the whole family with a moral dilemma.
I loved how Kincaid brings in the New York Ruthless Ryan family again, even though only briefly. If there’s a union you don’t mess with then the Montoya’s and the Ryan’s are definitely it.
I actually feel a little sad that this is the last in this series because I’ve enjoyed these books so much. The storylines are interesting and intense, with lots of twists and revelations that constantly keep the reader on their toes. There’s humour and light hearted fun mixed with danger, threat and violence which often make for an entertaining combination that have you wincing and laughing simultaneously… especially when Jax and Alejandro are dealing out their idea of retribution. It’s quite sickeningly satisfying.
Can’t wait to read more of Sadie’s fantastic work because every single one of her brilliant works is a real page turner.
