Navy SEAL Noah Ryker thinks he’s prepared for anything when he goes to his sister’s condo on Hilton Head Island to deal with her death. But he stops to be a good Samaritan and finds himself in desperate need of medical attention in a town that’s been evacuated for an approaching hurricane.
Dr. Hannah Fielding just wanted to get her son Brady home before the storm when a last minute stop at a corner store throws her life careening into the desperate SEAL’s. But their paths are about to collide on a much grander scale, one that will threaten both their lives and everything they believed to be true.

I enjoyed this book and want to thank the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
Really enjoyed this one. It was a little graphic for my tastes but I liked the characters and the plot. Noah was a Navy SEAL who came to Hilton Head after his sister's death to clean out her things. A hurricane is approaching. After getting into a gunfight with someone he's wounded and needing to hide. He heads for the closest place he can find, a convenience store, and ends up forcing a doctor, Hannah, and her son, Brady, to come with him at gunpoint. She stitches him up and she comes to find out he's one of the good guys. Her late husband, Joe, knew Noah 's sister, Lizzie, and was working with her to stop the bad guys. Don't want to say much more and give something away. It turns out they all three become targets.
Noah is determined to protect Hannah and Brady and find out what happened to his sister and Joe. But first they have to talk shelter from the storm. Of course the two of them develop feelings for one another though both have their reasons for not wanting to get involved.
Plenty of suspense, a nice love story, and wholly likeable characters made this one an entertaining way to pass an afternoon. Definitely recommend it.
Dr. Hannah Fielding & Navy SEAL Noah Ryker took me on a ride that gave me that extra something that I had been looking for in the previous reads from this series. I got it all and then a bit more. I was loving it all the way. Of course a cute sweet innocent makes things that much more appealing. Grief makes for a new line of communications. It allows fellow grievers to be able to make connections with each other. For Hannah, losing her husband and Noah, losing his sister, life takes on a new direction for them both. They have danger coming at them from multiple sides.
This was intense with grief, drama, natural disaster, bad guys, injury, pain, sorrow, and protection. There are no readily available safety nets in place. This was a true distressing event that brought action and intensity to the for front of an innocent and her child.
I've been in love with this series from the beginning but this might just be the best one yet. From the fury of an out of control Mother Nature to the insidious evil men inflict on one another, this book has everything: drama, suspense, intrigue, action, and the author's somewhat ruthless use of the question "what's the worst that could happen?". When doubts about his sister's suicide compel him to dig into her death, Noah finds himself in the middle of a much bigger mess than he could have imagined. Hannah's always questioned the heart attack that took her late husband from their family but she never would have guessed it would take a hurricane to unravel the puzzle. The instant and powerful chemistry between Noah and Hannah is obvious from their first meeting. I loved how Noah steps up to protect her and Brady from everything that's happening around them - even when he's being a jerk about it. I especially liked how strong and independent Hannah is. She's a capable professional who's been overwhelmed by circumstances. She stands up for herself and her son and even offers Noah support when his strength falters. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book because it looks like we go back to where it all started, with Hawk and Olivia. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
Kidnapped by the Seal (Hero Force) by Amy Gamet Amy Gamet is such an introspective writer, it's easy to forget she's also a passionate romantic. When the two sides meet, books like Kidnapped by the Seal are a forgone conclusion. Heartbreaking moments, passionate characters and suspenseful plot lines. There's a thrill around ever corner, a never ending puzzle to be solved and a few life lessons. Thought provoking, emotional and adventurous.
I received a complimentary copy of this title and voluntarily reviewed it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This story takes place in Hilton Head, South Carolina as a hurricane is quickly approaching. Most of the residents have already left except the main characters.
As soon as I begin to read, Noah, stops to help some men, and gets shot. He is already troubled because his sister is dead, and he has come to investigate her alleged suicide. He does not believe that she killed herself.
Hannah, a doctor, had helped transport all of the patients out of the hospital she works in. Because of that, she is too late to be able to leave before the hurricane arrives. Therefore, she and her son plan to ride it at home.
Meanwhile, Hannah is stocking up before the hurricane, and Noah is looking for help with his leg. When he realizes that Hannah is a doctor, he asks for her help. Unfortunately, the way he asks her is definitely not the way to make friends.
During this time, Noah discovers that his sister and Hannah’s husband both died around the same time, and that both worked in accounting at the same hospital, and he becomes suspicious. They both go to the hospital to investigate.
Meanwhile, they find out that someone is trying to kill them. So, while they are investigating in the hospital, Noah, Hannah and her son have to find a place where they can stay safe from the hurricane and from some person or people who are trying to kill them.
This book is exciting as the characters meet one complication after another. I love the twists and turns throughout the book, as we try to figure out who is chasing them and why. They also develop an attachment that has to take a back seat to their other problems.
I liked the fact that this book is about a hurricane since that seems very current these days. I also like the characters because the characters are both independent and stubborn people who work together to solve their issues..
Navy SEAL prepper Noah Ryker is still reeling from the death of his baby sister Lizzie. The only way to make any sense of her death is to go to Lizzie's Condo on Hilton Head Island Beach in North Carolina. He packs for every contingency and with enough food and gas to keep him for awhile he stares down the incoming hurricane with the attitude that matches his anguish over his dead sister. When he realizes that he doesn't have enough beer to drown his sorrows he heads down to the nearest bodega but along the way he sees something that he shouldn't have and things go bad to worse in a matter a seconds. Now with a GSW in his thigh, two flat tires and a dead cop he doesn't have many choices so he heads to the bodega for some help. Doctor Hannah Fielding and her son Brady are stopping at the bodega to get some bread the milk before the hurricane hits but because Hannah has been working at the hospital until every patient is evacuated she hasn't been able to properly prepare for the incoming hurricane. She and Brady race to the store from the car and she meets a tall dark and handsome stranger who overheard the clerk call her Doctor Fielding. When mother and son make it back to the car they find an extra passenger with a gun asking for help.
I have loved this series from the very first book! Amy Gamet blends romance and military action into some great stories. Kidnapped by the SEAL might just be one of my favorite, little Brady stole most of the scenes he was in and for a five year old he was braver then most adults. I love the letter to Santa at the end, be prepared to fall in love with this adorable little boy his momma and and Noah the big bad Navy SEAL.
I was gifted an ARC and voluntarily read and reviewed
Noah Riker is in Hilton Head at his sister's condo, where he saw her alive for the last time. His head is full of memories, and he needs to grieve. There's a hurricane coming, and the mandatory evacuation order has come down, but he's decided to stay and ride it out. He does need more beer though. As he drives to the bodega he saw earlier, he sees a truck pulled over and stops to ask if they need help. Their expressions when they say no, tell him to mind his business, so he leaves. The next thing he knows he's being pulled over and the cop isn't happy with what he saw. The cop shoots at him and gets him in the leg, then starts shooting out his tires. Now it comes down to him or the cop, and he has no choice. Proving his case later will become impossible but for now survival is key. He needs medical care, there's no phone service now and the position of his wound is such he can't fix it himself. He ties paracord above the injury, grabs his go bag and heads to the bodega.
Dr. Hannah Fielding has finished evacuating the patients from the hospital. Now she has to pick up her son, Brady, from her in-laws and get home safely with this storm raging. She has almost no gas and the bodega is out, but maybe they have some milk and bread. Julio greeted her by name when she enters the store. She notices the very good-looking man when she came in but by the time Julio brought her milk and bread from the family's stash he's gone.
Noah is desperate and he recognized the doctor's name from an article on his sister's refrigerator. While he doesn't directly threaten Brady, he does show her his weapon to get her compliance as he's sitting next to Brady in the car.
While she's taking care of his wound, windows in her condo blow out. He recognizes she won't be safe with her son here and offers a solution. He knows she doesn't trust him with good reason, but finally he convinces her to come with him.
A media crew, a chance to get away, all that changes when Noah tells her who his sister is and what he found out in her husband's office. A truth she can't even confirm but knows something was off with her husband's death.
When Cowboy sees Noah, Hannah and Brady on the news, he starts investigating Noah's 'wife'. The information he finds, has him wondering what the heck is going on.
Noah and Hannah start investigating the deaths and find all sorts of interesting information. Then Cowboy gets the results of the license plate they ran and more from the Sheriff's department.
There's also a building attraction between Hannah and Noah, the fact that Brady really likes him also plays in this.
In spite of the not so SEAL like way this book starts, I truly loved the twists and turns in the investigations. Of course, HERO force comes to help and the sizzle to simmer and back to sizzle relationship makes for fun reading as well.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Noah Ryker is on Hilton Head Island trying to make sense of his sister's death and not having much success. With hurricane Oscar baring down on the island, all Noah wants is a beer. But on the way to the local bodega he sees something he shouldn't and everything in his life is about to flip upside down.
Widower Dr. Hannah Fielding refused to leave the island, insisting on staying at the hospital until the last patient was transported out. Now she has her son and only has one quick trip to a local market for a few essentials before getting them safely to their apartment. What she doesn't see coming is a man with a bullet wound taking her and her son hostage. Her biggest issue, besides staying alive in the storm, is trying to decide if he is truly a danger or someone she can trust to protect her and her young son.
As Noah and Hannah hunker down with her son to ride out the hurricane Hannah begins to see him as a lot more than a captor, and she isn't sure her heart can take the loss she knows will follow the storm out to sea. And when points begin to line up connecting Hannah's husband's death to Noah's sister's death things will really get dicey as more and more trouble keeps finding these two.
I cannot say enough good about this author. Amy Gamet has a clever and creative mind when writing that leads us on a dramatic and exciting path, feeling the emotions of each characters and not wanting the book to end. I could not put this book down!
I am voluntarily providing my review of this advance reader copy.
Kidnapped By The SEAL is an awesome romantic suspense by Amy Gamet. Ms. Gamet has given readers a well-written book. The characters are outstanding and take this story to a higher level. Former Navy SEAL Noah is in Hilton Head as a hurricane is rolling in determined to find out what happened to his sister because he knew she didn't kill herself. Hannah is a doctor and has lost her husband and just refused her inlaws pleas to let them take her son with them inland, away from the storm. When Hannah and her son are kidnapped by Noah she's sorry she didn't send her son out of harm's way. Hannah and Noah's story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from Amy Gamet in the future. Kidnapped By The SEAL is book 7 of the H.E.R.O. Force Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
I voluntarily read a complimentary copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Noah Ryker just can’t believe that his sister killed herself. Deeply saddened he tries to wrap his head around the loss and visits her home, where his stay coincides with a hurricane and leads to other complications. Single mom Dr. Hannah Fielding is trying to find shelter from the hurricane for herself and her son when they’re kidnapped at gunpoint. Soon she discovers that her kidnapper isn’t at as what he seems and has more in common with her than expected.
A nice and easy read that focused mainly on the “nearly instalove” of the main characters. The romance part greatly out balanced the suspense part, which remained very one-dimensional and didn’t really grip me. Ryker and Hannah were great together but were nearly overshadowed by Brady, Hannah’s son. There were several glimpses on Ryker’s team and I might’ve liked them a bit more involved. As already mentioned, this was a rather carefree read that kept me entertained - unfortunately without offering any special twists or turns.
Once again, Ms Gamet entertains us with another book in the H.E.R.O. series. Definitely a stand alone , though if you are familiar with the series, some of the characters from other stories make an appearance. This is a fast paced, suspenseful romance with lots of bad guys, and a mystery to solve. In this one the main characters are Noah Ryker, a H.E.R.O. member whose life has been turned upside down when his sister dies. What was determined to be a suicide was really a murder. He meets Hannah a doctor and a widow, and her son, after Noah has been shot. Without giving too much away, know that you will be holding your breath throughout the story and even though Noah in fact kidnaps Hannah and Brady, he has reasons for that kidnapping. There is one surprise after another. Will they get their HEA at the end ? Also know that the author cleverly hints of what is coming in the next story. I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Kidnapped by the SEAL HERO Force, Book 7 By: Amy Gamet Narrated by: Janelle Tedesco
This series is just so good, I can't get enough! Each book has a great story, and they just keep getting better! This is the story of HERO Force employee Noah. He has gone to find the killer of his sister LIzzie, finding so much more! A hurricane is about to hit and Hannah is not prepared. She and her son Brady are not safe, but when Noah comes to them for his own purposes, this threesome becomes a unit. They will find the hurricane is not their only danger, and they have a lot more in common than they thought. This is action packed, steamy and a great listen!
Consistency in a series for me is key. I love crossover character and when the narrator is the same, I get consistent voices so I know who is talking and it makes the story so much more fluid. Janelle Tedesco is doing an amazing job with this series and I can't wait to see how the last book ties it all out!
If dealing with his sister's death wasn't enough, the approaching hurricane has Noah out in a storm looking for last minutes supplies. His trip to local the store is not without incident, leaving him with bullet wounds in his leg. Overhearing the clerk speaking to Hannah and realising she is a doctor, she is exactly what he needs. Due to the circumstances, Noah knows there is no time for explanations and he, therefore, kidnaps both Hannah and her son. The story is fast-paced and suspenseful, and it is only as the truth evolves, that Hanah and Noah come to the realisation that their lives are more intertwined than they would have thought. As sparks fly between Hannah and Noah so that sparks fly off the concrete as gunfire is exchanged. The addition of six-year-old Brady increases the tension in the plot, making both Noah and Hannah's decisions that much harder. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This series just keeps getting better and better! HERO Force team member Noah Ryker finds himself in Hilton Head, South Carolina mourning his sister when suddenly he's forced to go on the run after sustaining a serious and life threatening gunshot wound. When he's forced to kidnap a surgeon and her young son while Hurricane Oscar rages around them you'll be on the edge of your seat. I loved this romantic suspense adventure that is loaded with high-octane action, tender moments and sexual attraction that jumps right off the page. I've read every single book this author has written and this is one of the best. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my unsolicited and voluntary review are completely my own.
He's wounded and desperate. She's the only doctor in the middle of a hurricane. He has no choice but to take her...
Navy SEAL Noah Ryker thinks he's prepared for anything when he goes to his sister's condo on Hilton Head Island to deal with her death. But he stops to be a good Samaritan and finds himself in desperate need of medical attention in a town that's been evacuated for an approaching hurricane.
Dr. Hannah Fielding just wanted to get her young son home before the storm when a last minute stop at a corner store throws her life careening into the desperate SEAL's. But their paths are about to collide on a much grander scale, one that will threaten both their lives and everything they believed to be true.
KIDNAPPED BY THE SEAL is an intensely compelling story that is sure to keep you thoroughly entertained. Struggling in her recent roles as a widow and single parent exhausted Dr. Hannah Fielding happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Meanwhile, the team sees Noah on TV with Hannah, misidentified as a family that hadn’t evacuated. Rating: 4.25stars
Noah knows his sister didn't commit suicide and he goes to her condo to find proof. Doesn't help that a hurricane is about to hit. He stops to help a stranded truck & a police officer also stops him later thinking he saw too much and starts shooting at him - he's hit and kills the cop. He went to store and kidnapped Hannah and her son. He desperately needed medical help since he was shot. When they started talking and Hannah found out Noah's sister was Lizzie, they figured both Lizzie & Hannah's husband both were killed because they figured out drugs were being stolen from the hospital. Now, they are being hunted!!! So much action, and twists and turns, you can't help reading this book all in one sitting.
Kidnapped by the SEAL (Hero Force Book 7) by Amy Gamet This is Navy SEAL Noah Ryker and Dr. Hannah Fielding’s story.
Wow! This story was so good! What an amazing read with hot steamy chemistry and suspense. It grabbed my attention from the start and kept me on the edge of my seat.
I loved Noah and Hannah’s characters. Hannah’s son, Brady, was a great addition to the story too. The author did a great job describing the emotions of the characters and the scenes as they unfolded. I really enjoyed Noah and Hannah’s story.
FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a sweet, suspenseful and engrossing story. Noah is kind, caring, intense and determined. Hannah is independent, strong and wary. Brady is a sweet and brave kid. Noah and Hannah are strongly drawn to each other, and Noah falls instantly for Brady. and Brady him. The story grabs your attention immediately and gets more intense as it goes on. I love the HERO Force books and this one did not disappoint. Put it at the top of your TBR list. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
Noah Ryker and Dr. Hannah have an intense story that keeps the reader glued to their seat. Both of these characters are struggling with grief. One who is just starting to process grief and the other that still has not found its way with already dealing with it. We have a hurricane going on, corruptness, trying to do the right thing, trust issues and danger. These things are also combined with hot developing passion. I love the fact these stories are not vanilla. They are hot and have a great plot. Brady is truly an awesome addition.
4 Stars I purchased a copy of the steamy postmilitary suspense romance Kidnapped by the Seal in the Hero Force Boxset Books 1-8 by Amy Gamet, and this review was given freely. Full of vivid violence. Grief-ridden HERO teammate and natural disaster prepper Noah Ryder alienates his team, goes to his sister’s apartment to investigate her suspicious death just as a hurricane hits, finds himself in the middle of a murder mystery, becomes wanted by the law, and is attracted to recently widowed single mother, Dr. Hannah Fielding.
I fell in love with Noah from the start. Gamet knows how to build a character that speaks to the reader. The plot was interesting and fast paced. The character of Hannah is the perfect complement for Noah but there is a lot to get through before they can find their HEA. Gamet knows how to build a story that pulls the reader in from the beginning and holds them to the beautiful end. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
When Navy Seal Noah's sister kills herself he goes off the deep end. When he stops to help an officer during a hurricane, he inadvertently ends up being shot by the cop.
Dr. Hannah is just trying to get a few supplies for her and her son. When Noah finds out she is a doctor, he actually kidnaps her so she can see him up. They find out that her husband who died unbelievably and his sister were coworkers who stumbled upon a thieving ring at the hospital ~
Noah prepared to Rideout the hurricane,in his dead sisters apartment, everything cept beer, a trip that would target him to die. Dr Hannah and her son, was staying put, a stop at a small store brought them into Noah's path, and he needs a Dr. Even at gun point. Read to see how this tangled meeting and danger from hurricane taking second place to what is coming. Enjoy the story, lots of action, emotions, and danger.
I really enjoyed this fast paced action packed romance. I liked the fact that the action was from beginning to end, the story was short so there was no rambling, and the romance especially special since there's was a child envolved. I highly recommend it.
