On my eighteenth birthday my father, the senator, gives me the gift he thinks every little girl dreams of.

The man of my dreams, and the wedding to match.

Stefan Zoric is heir to an elite worldwide modeling agency.
Practically a prince.

My arrangement is simple, as far as sham marriages go.

I give him my virginity, behave as the perfect wife and he'll pay for the college degree my father found irrelevant.

But I don't want to be the perfect wife.

I want him to want me the way I want him.

I want him to confide in me.

But Stefan has secrets that he holds close, dangerous secrets.

And soon I'm wondering what kind of devil have I made a deal with?

I hated this trilogy. I do not recommend. The sex is good once it starts - but not good enough to suffer through everything else. This review is a combo of the individual book reviews - for whatever reason I could only do my Kindle notes for this book and I didn't want to lose those.

Victoria (18, virgin) thinks her father (a senator) is about to surprise her with a birthday present of college tuition, instead he introduces her to her new fiancé. Stefan Zoric (26) wants to take over his father's "modeling" company, but to do that, he has to prove his worthiness to good old dad, and one way to do that is to agree to marry the senator's daughter.

Tori isn't surprised that she's being forced to marry someone she's just met - so we just go with it. Stefan tells her that they'll make the best of it, and she'll get the college degree she longs for, and he'll get the company - win/win. They go three months without speaking and then it's the wedding night. She's all prepared to lose the V and he falls asleep instead. He has no desire to be with her or even talk to her in any way. They go on a honeymoon where he completely ignores her, doesn't want to talk to her, only wants to work. She sees him slipping into an elevator with another woman, his hand on her lower back, whispering sweet things into her ear. Tori doesn't do shit. Doesn't even confront him about it. They spend more honeymoon time with her trying to seduce him and he keeps ignoring her. All the while - she spends time talking ENDLESSLY about the meaning and origins of words. Did I tell you she wants to be a linguist? Anyway - there's more time spent on that than anything else in the book. So, they still haven't had sex or done anything at all when they find out her dad had a heart attack. He arranges for the private jet to fly them home, but he also packs it full of supermodels - who are all partying with champagne while he flirts with them - all while she's sitting there in shock because of her father. Then she sneaks off to the bedroom and crawls into bed to cry. He comes in and cuddles behind her and says "it'll be ok" and she's all like "oh he's so sweet. i didn't realize he cared so much" I'm like bitch he was just outside partying with supermodels instead of consoling you!!!!!
"Pull yourself together," he growled. "And make sure you look presentable, not like a whore who just got fucked in a closet."

FYI - he only fingerfucked her - but still - he's awful.
This book ends with Tori finding out the truth about the "modeling" agency.

Book 2 -
Your role is to go to college, play nice at social events, and at the end of the day you come home and suck my dick every night. You can’t dwell on the men’s business.

Victoria has learned the secret that the modeling agency is just a front for a sex trafficking operation. She makes all sorts of ridiculous threats. Stefan still treats her like trash.
"If you don’t shut your mouth, I’ll shut it for you." His voice was threatening, but low enough that only I could hear it. "I’ll push you down on your knees and force my cock down your throat. You won’t be able to say one more word while I’m fucking your mouth—while everyone sees that you’re just as much of a whore as the women benefiting from this charity."

We also learn that Stefan has a long lost love that he was still searching for - in fact - that's what he was doing ON THEIR HONEYMOON. After Tori gets injured, Stefan realizes that he does actually care for his wife and decides to make things work with her - while searching for his ex - though he does say that he just wants to make sure she's safe and that his father didn't do something to her.

At the end of this book - Stefan's evil father brings back Stefan's ex, along with her son - who is Stefan's son.

Book 3

Stefan and Tori are shocked that he now has a son and that his ex is not only alive, but she wants him back. Of course, Tori thinks that now Stefan will want to run back and rekindle his romance with the ex, so she leaves Stefan without even talking to him about it. Stefan is all excited about having a kid and decides that if Tori left him, then she never really loved him and then he assumes she must have run off with the guy from her college class. Ugh these two can't get any stupider. Eventually - they decide to take down the evil father, FBI raids, Stefan might not be a daddy after all, Tori might actually have a brother, yada yada - HEA.

It all sucked. Stefan is a wussy boy who doesn't know how to be an adult, which is a complete 180 from the cock he was in book 1.

I do not recommend.

I read the omnibus, so this is covering all three books!

Y’all. Stella never fails at making me love the main characters in her books. Stefan and Tori are perfect. She sure as hell makes both of their fathers look like the worst, god awful people on the planet. So well deserved too — the closure at the end? Chefs kiss.

The spice is there between the plot and it definitely plays out mafia-esque. The twists and turns? I didn’t expect some of them especially the bombshells dropped mostly towards the end.

The heartbreak and emotions throughout the novel had me crying like a baby coming home from the bar. Sorry, Swiftie joke. Had to. However, she does such a good job with world and character building that it is so easy to end up immersed in all things Zoric family related.

Once Stefan warmed up and began to get all cinnamon roll-like I knew it was game over in my heart. Broody exterior, gooey warm center? Yes please.

I also ABSOLUTELY LOVED the redemption at the end with Luka. And the found family trope is real in the second and last book.

The Arranged trilogy is composed of 3 different books should you rather read them that way:
The Deal
The Secret
The Choice

Tori was excited that her father had a surprise for her birthday and thought that maybe it was him paying her tuition, she never thought that he would be marrying her off and couldn’t work out why.
There was nothing wrong with Tori’s husband aside from the fact that aside from the wedding kiss he didn’t seem to want to touch her. Then when he did it was only at night, and they returned to strangers.
Stefan couldn’t let Tori get close, couldn’t even let it appear that they were close, as much as he knew he was getting feelings for her, he wasn’t going to let happen what happened before.
Tori knew that there was something off with the modelling agency, she thought her husband was seeing other women, but what she discovered was so different, the only thing she could think of was to leave.
Stefan knew Tori not knowing the full story was dangerous, but he couldn’t trust her, he couldn’t trust anyone, all he knew was his wife was in danger and couldn’t tell her why.
Will Stefan end up trusting Tori, can Tori make him realise that she loves him just not what the business involves.

Meh...was a hard read for me.

I picked this series up because of all the great reviews I had read and it was a recommended series through a page I follow. It was a hard read for me, made it 40% in and just couldn't read it anymore although I tried to hang on. I skimmed to the end just to see what happened with the main characters. It may be for some people but it wasn't for me.

Yes!

Angst - yes!
Steamy - yes!

I really got into the characters as they developed depth through the three books within this series.

I loved how all the loose ends were tied up from the beginning at the end.

Definitely swoon worthy. I gave the five stars. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that loves a strong hero and well developed charters with a lot of steamy bits!

Well done. Thank you!

🌶️: 2.5

The premise is the arranged marriage between the main characters. This is three books in total should you want to read them separately the first book is The Deal. It gets more spicy as it progresses. Has some miscommunication and BBS, dragged and was repetitive.
The bones of the book were pretty good though and each book title encompassed what that particular book was about. Check any content warnings. I listened to the audiobook and it was fantastic.

Great Trilogy

Intense drama filled book with so much steam I needed a fan. Tori and Stefan completely evolve separately and together throughout their journey. What starts as an arranged deal between them, grows and twists and turns into a glorious union. Amazingly complex story that is completely intriguing and a joy to read.

Had its moments

This is really a three book series. First book was pretty good and then the author made the unforgivable mistake of having the big reveal being the characters are part of a secret DOD (yes department of defense) investigation. This is not a thing - this is so absurdly wrong as to render the rest of the book unreadable.

great series well written

I was gonna drop to a four for this series but the ending was so spectacular I stayed with five. I loved the passion and all tat went into book two. The harshness of book one and the slow buildup of Stephan and Tori’s relationship kept me hooked. Well done. I did get annoyed with Tori’s immaturity some but the author kept her age appropriate.

This was a good story. The characters grew on you and once you learn their secrets you wonder how they will solve the issue. The closer they come, the more obstacles are placed in their way. Vowing to each other they overcome them all.
