This was so confusing. I am still confused. I felt like this was an European/American made thing, because those like to throw you in the middle of things without any explanation. This is the first volume but at times felt more like a 3rd or even a 5th volume. That is also why I rated the book lower because it was so hecking confusing (that, and also Carrot, who was just a pervert and I frankly got sick and tired of his constant pervertness and how he had two cute girls and just screwed around with whoever was available). I was surprised that Carrot and Marron are brothers, how? I had a laugh at Tira (Tiramisu?) and her BDSM/bondage/leather outfit and how she is when she goes full whip mode. :P Her sister was annoying but hilarious. I did like the story and I loved it when we found out more about the world. There is also plenty of action. And I love the names. I will keep on reading, I got 3 or 4 volumes at home, more I couldn't find. Haha. So if I like it enough, digital it is.
This one is a little dated, but still fun. Plenty of swords, sorcery and a dash of S&M. I'm making it sound more lurid than it really is.
This volume is interesting as it covers stories before the whole team is together, so none of it was really covered in the anime. Really like the art, and you can see it develop and improve through these early chapters
Thought I'd give this one a read since I used to enjoy the anime version when I was younger, but the manga couldn't hold my interest...it'll probably be more appealing to teenagers. The story follows a monster-of-the-week format, and isn't very original. Artwork was nice, but the attempts at humor weren't very funny, and the fight scenes were often really hard to understand.
