Andrew has suffered through a loss he would never wish upon anyone. Louisa had been the light of his life and at his side for too many years to count. When she was killed, he promised to do better by his family, to stick by their sides no matter the consequences to himself. He owed that to Louisa, to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. When he finds himself wanting to be in the presence of two people who should stay far away from him, he tries to step back, but his heart knows what it wants.
Kean loves his family, but he wishes they would stop interfering in his love life. They know his proclivities, but still they fix him up with people who are completely wrong for him. Although, the people he chooses himself haven’t worked out either. It’s made Kean realise what he needs is a keeper - someone to rein him in - but he also wants some control. Not an easy ask for anyone.
Kendal wants to stay alone for the rest of his life. He’s stopped trusting his instincts after everything that had happened to him before. What he chooses to do instead is to help those who need it, those who have been where he had been, those who need sanctuary. But when his needs become too much, who can he turn to because he sure as hell won’t be going to a club any longer?
Three men with entirely different needs come together in the unlikeliest of situations, but is the weight of the crown too much for them all to handle?
This is an MMM book containing BDSM scenes and D/s dynamics in all forms. It also has lots of loving, friendships, family drama and, of course, a HEA.
Elouise East writes sweet and steamy connections in gay romance. She also touches on taboo stories under the name Elouise R East.
Books that tell the stories where friendship and family are the focal point - be it blood family or chosen - are very important to her. That’s why she includes a variety of personalities, talents, ages, situations and abilities as she believes a story or character needs. She wants her characters to be real, to be relatable, to be free to have whatever views they tell her they have. And trust her, most of the time, she does not have any say in the matter!
Her characters come to life on the page for her as well as her readers. Their stories unfold in front of her as she writes, and she has very little input into how they want to be shown. Just like real life, the lives of her characters change with every choice, every interaction and every conversation. And she wouldn’t have it any other way.
She writes books that are emotionally realistic, even if liberties are taken with other aspects of the stories. She doesn’t know any other way to write. It comes from deep inside.
Who is she? A single parent to two children living in the UK. An avid reader who still tries to devour every book she can get her hands on. A student of learning about any subject that takes her fancy. An author of books she would read herself. And a romantic at heart who loves anything cheesy.
Who’s joining her on her journey?

This is far, the best book in the “Club Royal” series and it’s the 7th book. I’ve absolutely loved going on the Club Royal ride since the beginning and I got a bit teary at the end! One major reason why I loved this one the best is because…who the heck wouldn’t love having a King being bi!!!! I’ve always fantasized falling in love with a king. This one was so endearing is because it’s a M/M/M love story! The ride has drove me crazy because of that “blasted” huge crisis that had been looming over these awesome MCs in the first 6 books! Just won’t say what it is because I want you to pick up the book and read to find out what I was talking about. If you haven’t read the first 6 books, I’d strongly recommend you do so! Worth your time! My time was worth and well-spent! More than 10 stars out of 5 allocated stars.
The story focuses on King Andrew of England. He realized he had feelings for Kean and Kendall but felt that he couldn’t pursue the idea because he was afraid his subjects wouldn’t accept that. He also felt that because of these nasty people, Kean and Kendall would have targets on their back. Kendall is a non-binary who had feelings for Kean and King Andrew. He knew Kean had feelings for King Andrew but decided to jump in and proclaim his feelings. Kean was more receptive than King Andrew. However, that’s where I’m going to stop and encourage you to pick up the book and read!!!!
****** Spoiler Alert ****** I adore the Club Royal Series. It makes me feel like I am being let in to this family. A wonderful family and friends. Including security. I am looking forward to the book about Dominic as well and other members of security. But this story was finally about the character who was a support throughout every story despite having suffered an unimaginable loss of Queen Louisa at the hands of his more wretched family members. King Andrew did not show his pain to many. His sons knew. Freddie seemed to know the most how he hurt. Maybe because he was the next in line. King Andrew had helped 2 men who suffered because of his family. Kendall and Kean. Both of them were scarred physically and emotionally. They both started feeling closer but they got pushed away. Freddie told them please don't up hope yet. So the 2 slowly pushed. In the meantime getting super close themselves. When he invited them over, things became a bit more hot and heavy and after a couple more visits turned utterly erotic. Just as things were kicking off, as usual his crazy family began their attacks again. He went out leaving Kendall and Kean and his family in the dark. They were attacked badly. The king's bodyguard, Simon was hit and killed as well as several others. It became a back and forth with the bad members of the family. The whole time Andrew grew each day with Kendall and Kean. Kendall, who had had horrific things happen to them, became a very vocal voice of the group even though they were a sub. They were the one to convince Andrew that they were working. Many people did not think it was OK when the king came out as bisexual while married to Queen Louisa. But now he was polyamorous too. A triad..
I love Eloise East's writing. I love her storytelling. How it is it's own story but combined with the other stories it is amazing! It becomes so rich with flavor then when you have read the others. I have even thought about reading them again!
One of the best series I have read. But it does contain BDSM, Daddies, polyamory....
King Andrew has suffered many losses throughout his life which he would never wish upon anyone else, the greatest being the loss of his wife and Queen Louisa. Upon her death, he promised to do better with his family no matter the personal cost. When he finds himself wanting two people he knows he should stay away from them but will they let him? Kean loves his family but doesn't like them especially as he actually has an attraction to a friend who has been hurt enough and the king. When he gets a change he grabs it. Kendal plans to spend the rest of his life alone as they can no longer trust their instincts but two men have come to mean so much - can he trust them? Three people with entirely different needs come together in the unlikeliest of situations, but is the weight of the crown too much for them all to handle?
I loved this story which had the conclusion to the plot against the royal family and why it was started at all (it will be a surprise) and a chance to give the king happiness and once again prove that Louisa had predicted everything. The conclusion of the plot against the royal family was partially predictable but also a surprise as I had no idea of the origins of it. A great story that tied up so many loose ends and gave me hope that all of them would live happily ever after. Easy to read, feel and understand you will feel emotional at times. This is an MMM story with mature content and some BSDM-like behaviours and D/s. The scene in the club was very hot - the three men were just explosive at times.
I've been hooked since the first page of Rogue Royal and loved every minute spent with the Sutcliffe family. Watching the three royal brothers and their three cousins find the perfect men for each of them, set against the backdrop of intrigue and skulduggery, has been fascinating and so rewarding. Ending the series with King Andrew was so fitting, his presence throughout the series steadfast and supportive and loving and so deserving of happiness himself after the shocking death of his beloved wife. This book has everything. The brothers, the cousins, their partners. Heartbroken Andrew and the two men who have suffered as well but will all find love and happiness together. The culmination of the plot against the Royal Family that has been playing out across the series. It really has been a wild ride, running the gamut of emotions and tugging on the heartstrings, and I've adored every minute spent in their company. I'm so pleased that there is going to be a spinoff series because Randall has been a constant presence in Windsor Castle and I needed his story. Luckily, he's first up in the Guarding Royalty series so now it's fingers crossed for Brett after Protecting his Past. Can't wait.
It's always sad to see the end of a series and I have loved the Club Royal family, but it is fitting that the family patriarch and man who suffered unimaginable loss finds love with not one, but two, sweet people. I was also pleased to see that he ended up with Kean and Kendal and they were able to fight through his melancholy and objections. I would have liked to see more of individual moments between Kean, Kendal and Andrew in various iterations, but I really appreciated their times together.
It's also tough to tie up a long running thread of destruction and chaos, but Elouise East handles this part of the story well and gives us closure and understanding of how and why the evil penetrated the royal household.
Commanding Royal is not a standalone book, but it stands out and is a must read to complete the series!
What a great end to the Club Royal series! In this book, King Andrew finds his HEA in a triad with Kean and Kendal. The overall mystery of who is behind the threats to the royal family is solved. Also, we catch up on the current status of the MCs from other books in the series. As usual, the passion level is on target and exciting. One small issue is that Kendal is non-binary, using them/they pronouns, and there were 5+ errors in its use, although not enough to detract from the wonderfulness of the book. This book had such a blend of mystery, action, excitement, passion, friends and family, and ultimately love that it kept me entertained throughout. The ending is just so satisfying. And, I am more than thrilled to learn that another series is in the works in the same world, so I don't have to say good-bye for too long. Highly recommended!
The scheming and plotting against the royal family we've been following in the previous books come to a head and is finally resolved in this one which indicates that sadly this is the last in this wonderful series. I've enjoyed every book and now, in this one, King Andrew finally gets his chance at an HEA. The worries a king would have un considering any personal relationship are well delineated here, complicated by his attraction to both Kean and Kendal. These two are such wonderful characters who've struggled mightily to find the right partner(s). Together, they all three clicked. Don't miss this series. Read it in order for the overarching plot against the royals, but most importantly for the variety of characters getting their HEAs.
Being a steady presence in the previous books, it was only fitting that King Andrew brought this series to its conclusion. A story that brings three unlikely men together, each at different stages in their lives but desperately in need of each other to live out their future. This culmination of the series addresses the story arc that was prevalent in this series and with the presence of the previous characters this was an engaging read from start to finish. Definitely a recommended series that needs to be read in order.
A perfect conclusion to the series! I loved every second spent with all the royals and the author nailed it with the final book. The triad Andrew forms with Kean and Kendal was a great dynamic. I loved how they all got their say and were on equal ground with their partners. SO much love pouring from the pages amongst the chaos! The overall plotline is meeting its conclusion here, but I truly hope there will be many more stories with these characters!
MMM, Age Gap, BDSM, D/s, Contemporary, Romance. Easy to read, ideally needs to be read as part of the series and in series order due to storyline continuing throughout. More twists and turns, betrayal and loss as well as falling in love/ new relationships and lots of steam. An enjoyable read with a fast moving and information packed plot. Guaranteed HEA.
And everyone lived happily ever after (cue rainbows and unicorns). If you've gotten this far in the saga you know how much this as a make believe world, an alternate world, a fantasy, you get the picture. So after much angst, trials and tribulations, all's well that ends well.
the end of the arc felt a bit rushed. enjoyed another poly pairing. while i appreciated the poly pairing i didn't truly feel like they had a lot of chemistry other than it made sense for the story arc.
This was such a lovely ending to the series. It was wonderful seeing these three finally get their HEA. It would have been nice to see a bit more of a climax to the storyline around Ernest and Charlotte but a brilliant book nevertheless.
My first book of club royal and which didn't pass 20 pages for me A family of royals which all are gays and mostly with more than 1 partner !!! One MC with them/they pronounce which i very confusing to read Nope , not my cup of tea
This was a great conclusion to the series. I was pleased to see Andrew find happiness after losing his first love. The bond created between blood and chosen was great I especially liked the closeness with the staff and guards as well as the partners it added a sense of togetherness.
I loved every minute of this story. It was filled with happiness, sadness, romance, betrayal and more. I knew Andrew's story would be good but this surpassed anything I could have thought the story should have.
