Rosa de Los Reyes is a fashion designer and a psychic. Raul Silva is her funny and flamboyant spirit guide. Together they arrive in the city of lights, Paris only to be thrust into a murder investigation.
Not all is as it seems and soon another body is discovered complicating matters. Knowing Rosa is hiding something, her boyfriend Sheriff Storm shows up unexpectedly. Soon he too is thrust into the investigation.
As if finding two dead bodies is not enough, Rosa is used to dealing with skeptics, and despite Prefecture Bonneau's protests, she must make a non-believer believe. That is if she wants to ever return to Colten Island.
Come join Rosa and her quirky friends as she navigates a murder investigation while trying to finish designing her new fashion line in time for Paris Fashion Week.
The second book in this series was wonderful. The author did a great job picking up where book 1 left off, bringing back all of my favorite characters and all their quirks and charm. The story line was good, and the sprinkling of Cuban meals, sayings and family life made it so much more personal. You aren't just reading the story, you're part of it. Wonderful job and I recommend it highly.
My birthday is at the end of the month, but it feels like it came early with my purchase today of the new book by my favorite author!!! I have savored her last book, reading it repeatedly, and have been waiting excitedly for book two ever since! Oh, this one has all my favorite characters, but in a fun new setting-I was in heaven reading it. I love her pacing and humor. Such a great, well-developed story!
This is a fun setup for the second book in this book. Fashion designer aad pyschic, Rosa de Los Reyes along with her spirit guide Raul Silva are in Paris while Rosa has an internship and chance at Fasion week. Then she ends up in the middle of a muder investigation. This book was good and provides a great whodunit.
