Love hate

This is a good story and pulls you in right away. The stories about Olivia, always end leaving me hanging esp this one. The problem i have with Olivia is that sometimes she's really stupid or blind, so it seems to me. I mean I can think of ways to solve her problem but she doesn't seem to even be aware. I've felt this way from the first book but the endings send me on to the next book. They are good books but feel a little unrealistic. Either that or the other books I've read have gotten my head in a spin.ill figure it out, maybe as I read the next volume.

Liked this a lot, but...

I liked this story a lot, and I was very sad when one supporting character in particular lost their life. The writing is very good, as is the editing (with a few exceptions, some involving the plural possessive of "parents'").

But there's one gaping hole in the plot: a body falls off a moving boat. Several minutes pass before the engines are shut down. But when action to retrieve the body is finally taken, the body is still right beside the boat. In reality, by the time the boat was stopped, the body would have been far astern of the boat.

Still, this is an engaging story, and I very much enjoyed it.

This wasn't a horrible book; it was just okay for me. I got a little bored throughout it but pressed on. I kept waiting on a twist somewhere but it never came.... this big suspense was built up but I felt it just fell flat. When Olivia and Emily finally 'figure out' who did what, they basically bring the person or persons in and pretty much just say they know they did x,y and z. I was left feeling like 'what??? Is that it??' I kept waiting for a plot twist which never came. In all it was okay; just a straight-forward book.

Olivia’s Redemption

Brock is called away on a reprise of an old undercover case and Olivia has a case to solve on her own. Her best friend Emily is along for the ride but it seems to be a murder case and that’s Olivia’s strength. Lots of very rich and bad men are around but there’s no clear motive. Or is there? As usual there’s more afoot than is apparent. Olivia and Emily make a good team. But what’s happening with Brock? Good read.

This is my least favorite book yet in the series. For me, the writing for this character series doesn’t compare to the Blake Wilder series or Paxton Arrington series. The Olivia Knight character seems all over the place trying to convince herself she’s a capable agent. I also didn’t enjoy the story line and definitely did not find it to be very realistic, although I realize I’m reading fiction, it should carry some level of believability.

Murder on the Astoria(Olivia Knight FBI Mystery Thriller Book 5)

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it. This one was totally amazing, I was very surprised to find out who the killer was. It was a total accident but still very sad. I can totally believe that rich people would act like this, which is sad, because you would think that the people who have the most would give the most. But in the real world the people that have the least are more then willing to give the most.

Took me a bit longer to read but still a quick read. I did like this one but I did not like the fact that Brock left. The ending has me in tears. I cant wait to read the next one. This series just keeps getting better and better. I like Olivia is on her own in this one in a way. It shows she doesn’t need Brock but is better with him. Now everything is on the line and I need to get to the next one now.

Who Is Guilty?

Very interesting story. First Olivia couldn't go with her partner who was assigned to a case that he had previously been involved in. So Olivia went to visit her friend Emily. Emily also an FBI agent was working on a case that involved white collar problems. The two of them became involved in a complex murder investigation. Who killed the Darfur and why? They solved the murder and the white collar investigation.

A lot of unrealistic elements

This one took me longer to read because it felt like there were too many unrealistic elements. The premise of Olivia being between cases and joining a case with her BFF based on a phone call seemed off. There was little to no communication with anyone else in the FBI about what they were doing. All of the investigation on the ship without any documentation... Hoping the next is better.

This latest book in the Olivia Knight series was good, but didn't grab me like the others. It was a bit draggy in spots, and to be honest, if it hadn't been part of a series by two of my favorite authors, I might have put it down without finishing it. The teaser in the Epilogue has me looking forward to the next entry in the series, however.

It's Good!

I did enjoy the book, but honestly it seemed to be a lot of whining with Olivia about her relationship with
Brock This is a good book but my least favorite so far. I understand and like complicated characters but not big on whiny. But these two are my favorite authors so while this series is not my favorite its still good!

A must read series

This was an interesting story with many secrets, lies, betrayals, and death. It's certainly not what Agent Knight and her best friend expected when they chose to work together on what was supposed to be a white collar case. It will certainly have you guessing until the very end.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

This was a good fast paced mystery. It had characters that were interesting and well developed. It was interesting to see who the guilty party (parties?) were.

I received a digital ARC of this book and this is my honest and unsolicited opinion.

Olivia Knight does it again!

This book brought a lot of characters together from previous books and was a fun read. The author dangles the next book in the epilogue so that you can't wait for it to come out.

Good read! Suspenseful.

This series continues to get better and better. Having Olivia work without Brock made you miss him and look forward to his return. Can’t wait to see how Olivia rescues him in the next book.

Poorly written and boring

Spent most of my time with this book being bored and fast forwarding. Not at all like authors other books which were at least worth reading. Skip this one.

Murder and hijinks on the high seas. You have to really pay attention to figure this one out, because there are so many suspects. Olivia is a new author to me and I enjoyed her writing and her characters. This is a world of high rollers and anything goes.

When a woman is murdered, there are too many suspects at the beginning. Who might want this young woman dead?

Olivia and Brock are determined to solve the case, and bring closure to the family.

Another great addition to this series! Bring on the next case!

Just because they're women don't count them out!

Really great read. Olivia and Emily work really well together. This was a complicated mystery to solve. A lot of information to go through. Leaving at least 4 subjects to isolate which they did.

By book 5 there should be more progress with Olivia and Brock’s “relationship”. I was pretty disappointed in this book. I usually can’t put it down but forced myself to finish this one.

Not up to par

As stated, plot was not up to par. I could not get into the plot. I ended up skipping forward. The plot just didn't keep my interest.

repetitive

Can you find another phrase other than take them down???

The ladies would be smart and know who their detainee phoned before they interview them. Seriously.
